  • The cobblestone streets of Kutaisi's Old Town echoed with the footsteps of centuries past, each corner revealing a new layer of the city's rich heritage.
As Inday strolled through the narrow lanes, she marveled at the medieval charm that surrounded her. Rustic buildings adorned with wooden balconies and colorful facades lined the streets, giving the entire area a timeless and picturesque quality. The air was filled with a sense of mystery, as if the stones themselves whispered tales of bygone eras.
Inday couldn't resist exploring the historical landmarks that dotted the Old Town. The imposing Bagrati Cathedral stood tall, its ancient walls echoing with the stories of Georgian kings and queens. The nearby Gelati Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcased stunning medieval architecture and housed priceless frescoes that transported Inday to a different era.
The vibrant local market added a lively touch to Inday's visit, with stalls overflowing with fresh produce, spices, and handmade crafts. The scent of traditional Georgian cuisine wafted through the air, tempting Inday to indulge in local delicacies like khachapuri and khinkali.
As the day ended, Inday found herself enchanted by the warmth of the Georgian people. Locals greeted her with genuine smiles, eager to share their love for their city and its history. Inday struck up conversations with shopkeepers, learning about the intricate craftsmanship behind handmade souvenirs and the significance of various cultural traditions.

I miss Kutaisi so much. Going to be heading back there in September! It has such a homey feel to it. I had some of the best food I had in Georgia while I was there as well! 🥰
