  • Welcome to the presentation for sale of this OB van called 'streamy'.
    For infos and inquiries: stream@streamy.eu
The design of this mobile vehicle was born from the need to combine an adequate level of technical quality with a dynamic use and the possibility of integrating different brands of cameras and/or audio-video components for different fields of use, both in live and live-on-tape production.
The vehicle is based on a 7-metre Ducato 2500 turbodiesel with less than 2000 km. Practically new.
The vehicle is fully insulated and has Webasto air conditioning and heating. A Fiammastore 80 roller blind, 3.70 metres wide and 5 metres long, is mounted on the side of the side door.
At the rear are the electrical panel and the two sockets that allow the vehicle to be supplied with both 16 and 32 ampere power.
The rack cabinet containing the electronic equipment is welded to the body and is accessible from both sides. This facilitates cabling and maintenance management.
    Video
The ob-van is designed for a quick return on investment.
At the heart of the video control room is an ATEM 2E Production Studio 4K series switcher with 20 6G SDI inputs, controlled by a BMD control with 2 Mix Effects levels.
    Signal Conversion
Streamy is equipped with a Teranex standard converter.
There are 9 converters in the rack from SDI to FC and HDMI, which can be connected either in the video matrix or in the HDMI or SDI patch panel within the video director.
    Signal management
Video and audio signal management is handled by two video and audio matrices, one 40x40 and the other 20x20.
The rear of the vehicle also features a 21-button 40x40 matrix control panel with display.
Both at the rear and in the passenger compartment, we have panels with BNC connectors that are directly connected to the matrix, allowing the various video signals to be distributed virtually anywhere.
    Audio
At the heart of the audio signal management system is a Behringer X32 mixer from the Producer series, with an external SD16 stage box for connecting audio inputs and outputs on stage or away from the mobile equipment.
The mixer is connected to a Windows PC for menu management and/or panel backup.
    Recording
There are four video recorders on SD cards for recording from ISO cameras or other sources managed by the matrix.
    Camera Technology
We have a 4-input fibre to SDI converter connected to a Fieldcast brand 24-volt fibre power system. This system, together with the 4 Atem camera converters from fibre to SDI included in the system, allows any camera to be connected to the vehicle, including tally, audio and power. This is all done via 4 reels of 100 meter fibre optic cable.
The vehicle also has 2 BMD CCUs for the BMD television studio cameras.
    Communication system
The communication management is controlled by the Holliland Syscom 1000T unit with 6 beltpacks, connected to the two external antennas mounted on the roof of the vehicle for a very long range.
In addition, an Intercom Atem Studio Converter unit for 4 cameras is installed in the rack and connected to the Atem Camera Converter FC on the cameras. The system is completed with 4 Cerevo Tally units, which are connected to the vehicle network and can be used with any camera.
    The Network
The network is managed by two Netgear POE and FC switches, each with 48 ports.
The fibre network is extended with a Fibre Stage Box using 100 metres of
of cable with 48 inputs and outputs to extend any type of communication between the vehicle and the stage.
    Connectivity:
The vehicle is equipped with a satellite dish for KA-SAT connections. The dish is self-pointing and equipped with a gyroscope for autonomous alignment with the vehicle's position. The dish also has a heating system for use in extreme winter temperatures.
The KA-SAT system is equipped with a 3W TRIA. There are two Viasat Tooway Surfbeam modems (one of which is the Pro model) which can be used according to the type of connection required (Best Effort or Guaranteed Bandwidth).
The satellite system is managed by a laptop in the vehicle and an electronic control panel installed in the rack cabinet.
The system is active and ready to connect in 3 minutes.
The rack also houses a computer server with 4 SDI inputs or outputs that can be connected to an SRT or RTMP server, which can then be inserted into the signal matrix.
The vehicle is also equipped with a 5-metre manual telescopic antenna to which two 4G LTE modems can be connected to the network switches for connectivity and/or to create field hotspots.
Streamy has 6 x 21" monitors, a 55" multiview monitor for the control room, 2 x Marshall monitors and 2 x 15" monitors, one for the audio control room and one in the cockpit for a possible commentator.
    Graphics
There are 2 Mac minis, which are redundant and connected to a single computer.
