CauldronsandCoffee Actually sunscreen & Retin A are truly the game changers if you want to reduce appearance of aging. Vitamin C serum during day is a great free radical scavenger under sunscreen & a simple, inexpensive, frag free moisturizer to top it off.
@@sweetpeace5 yeah so Spf and sunscreen are the same. And Retina A yes but you need a prescription for that. Vitamin C isnt amazing and is very unstable and would be classed under treatment for something specific or to just improve the SPF/aid it

I use 4 products.. Toner, day cream with a high spf built in as it is a vit A based moisturiser, Jojoba oil at night, eye firming gel and thats it lol and I am 25

Ruby - nope, you can have it without money - it’s an attitude of being joyful in the very fact of being alive, wrinkles and all. Money helps, and there’s a serenity in knowing where the next meal is likely to come from and having a roof over your head along with access to clean warm water and a bit of soap. Staying out of the sun is fairly easy, and making the best choices you can on food does take some effort and perhaps a bit of sacrifice. So perhaps having enough $ is vital, but it doesn’t take a lot of money. Truthfully , no amount of money can buy happiness if you haven’t cultivated an attitude for it.

We can't be 21 forever, and we can't all look like models, but you can be a beautiful version of yourself at any age.

I don't think she's ageing well. I think she actually looks older than her age. But maybe that's the point. She still has very beautiful features. And I think they use her to promote the idea that you can age, you can even aged a lot, but still be very beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. That to me, if that's their message, is a very good message.

It’s so lovely to see women of different ages starting to be featured here! We are seeing more models of all different sizes. It would be nice if the beauty industry would follow suit and feature more women of different ages.
That would expose the fake world of make-up and all cosmetics industry.

She is absolutely stunning and I love to see a mature woman doing a 3 step routine! Clearly Maye is proof that you don’t have to have a 78 step skincare routine to get positive results! Maye’s skin looks fabulous and she’s 71! It makes me feel confident and positive about aging and maturing because Maye has aged gracefully and it’s pretty apparent that you can in fact age gracefully! Great video!💕
She also eats a healthy clean diet which definitely contributes to her beautiful skin, as does her positive attitude. I’m 75 and still care very much not only for my skin but also my diet, mental health and physical well being and most important, finding joy/happiness in every day.
She do have a great skin but those 6,7 step products prevent wrinkles and crow feet

I’m an Esthetician, and I see many women who want great skin but don’t want to stay out of the sun or eat healthy. Those 2 are paramount for healthy skin! I love Maye. She’s lovely and gives great advice about everything. I love that she doesn’t dye her hair! She has embraced every part of aging, and is absolutely winning!

Also, that part about skin getting better with age can be so real at times! Definitely the case for me, at least. I have way better skin in my late 20s compared to my early 20s. Loving that sassy haircut, to boot.

Lots of hydrating and skin loving products, I’ve been using Latisse for my lashes and I’m happily avoiding falsies for the time being...also I like to use my own natural oil and hydration concoctions because I’m not a supermodel, so no one’s gifting me a darn thing. Her face looks great and the charm she radiates is even better, but her hands show her age completely. I kind of hate this kind of "stay out of the sun, eat well" stuff from a lady who clearly is doing expensive skin treatments for her face on the side to make up for skin damage done in her modeling/sunbathing days.
M G well, there’s nothing wrong with trying to undo the damage that ignorance inflicted on us back in the day. There were no sunscreens back in the 60’s , tans looked healthy and what did we know? Listen to us...we made these mistakes and if you avoid them, you might not need any medical assistance in your future and you’ll look even more fabulous than Maye! She’s living proof of being happy with what you have, mistakes and all and doing the very best with with it now. As my mother said long ago...the best cosmetic after 60 is your smile!😊

I actually appreciate the openness of the women who share that they use modern technology and developments in science rather than essential oil, though realize not everyone can be so brave to share this info, given the pressure on women to never age. I think you missed though, my point that there is something questionable in implying that good diet and good night care alone can address the sun damage that is otherwise pretty visible on places like the hands, and as you say, was prevalent in the 60s. To me, that not living proof of being happy with what you have, but there's no denying she understands striving for happiness is also important. So smile, Elisabeth, and stop watching skincare videos! You're beautiful as you are!

My best advices for beauty: don't be afraid to win years, each age has its own beauty and its own value. If you are able to love yourself always, you will always be a beautiful person.
Use sunscreen, do not use soap to wash your face, and smile, life is for be happy :D
"Win years" is the best attitude toward aging I've ever heard. Not everyone is lucky enough to grow old so we should embrace and celebrate the beauty that comes with that.
