Hi, Pr Dave! it's not about this video, but I'm curious about one thing and I have no idea who I need to ask for😄 I'm going to try make homemade soap from used cooking oil. it could contain some food parts and of course it's gonna be filtered but as I know it's not enough to get really clear oil. my question is about how dangerous could be this soap, what do I need to expect and how could I use it?
thank you for your answers, it is very important for me!😊

I have a quick question: What would happen if acid were added to a soap “molecule?” Also, how would I draw the structure of the resulting molecule? Would it be able to clean as well as regular soap?
I think adding acid to a soap molecule would create a weaker soap if the amount of lye is not increased to accommodate the acid, right? But I have no idea what to draw, nor what exactly would happen.
I'm curious to know what would happen if I added citric acid to soap.

    • @nursepotassium
