I personally love the combo of the sp404mk2 and pretty well any analog synth specify when you can detune and use the multiple effects you can make incredible sounds I love what you've done it super impressive man keep them comming I'd love to see more
Damn! No more 388?! Sheesh!! A tough one but I would probably take a crispy Rhodes like that over the 388. Was the 388 fully dialed in and functioning? Is the rhodes 100% working? Stoked for you bro!
Yeah the 388 was 100% functional, no issues at all. And same for the Rhodes, it's all there and every note rings and it's an actual "Fender" to my ears the models that say fender sound and feel much better than the later models that only say "Rhodes" I'll miss the 388 whenever I want to record to tape haha.

Yeah the 404 is always cool with whatever. I've used a bunch of samplers and it's almost my favorite haha.
