I just ordered a G8 to mod for my 11" Ipad Pro M4. How comfortable is this set up for some extended use? I will pretty much always have the iPad rested on something but worried about how balanced it is. I have a BSP D9 on my old 10" galaxy tab and the weight balance is really poor and it feels like the tablet wants to tip forward with the controller on
Good morning Is there a specific setting to make on iPad pro because I modded the controller but it is not recognized. I'm running iOS 17.4.1 Thanks for your help
Funny that alot of peoples buy this to use with tablet but they have to break it 1st ! So why dont they make it to fit the tablet at 1st ? I mean look at dps d9 that controller dont have g8 quality but it's fit every phone or tablet, and it can wireless and wired with almost every platform ...
I'm hoping gamesir or some other company sees videos like this and finally makes one, the dps d9 looks like an interesting option but the G8 just feels great to use. -Aish
I haven't had any issues with it. I'm not really a fan of clicky dpads but this one feels good to use, I would have still preferred a rubber membrane but it's solid. -Aish
@@retrohandhelds Thanks for the reply! How does she like it in terms of comfort? Is it heavy? I had the BSP D9 + iPad Pro 11" and it extremely uncomfortable for me 5mins in and would kill my wrists and introduce finger cramps :(
Great video, purchased one today and just modded it. One issue I am having is it will not passthrough charge my iPad. I was wondering if you had any issues? I have connected an android device and updated the firmware of the controller, but still no passthrough.
@@retrohandhelds Ended up rolling back the firmware of the controller using an android phone and now it works perfectly. Use it all the time. Thanks for your video.
With the back of the controller just open, I imagine that the controller can kind of flip off or isn’t as strong as it is when the whole thing is locked together.
It's a lot better, not as good as android but it's a huge improvement and I think the screen on the iPad is awesome for all the 4:3 systems and GBA. -Aish
Great video! I am debating the Galileo! Anything smaller and my hands cramp up 😅 I can say as a lifelong diablo player. If you want the true experience I recommend trying resurrected first, then 3. Diablo IV falls apart after the story. It just doesn't have good itemization and depth. No player choice and just feels... Thin. I know some enjoy it, which is awesome! I hit level 80 and lost interest. It's worth it for the story and campaign though! Definitely not worth the full price. And immortal shall not be named! 😂
Awesome thank you I'll give resurrected a go first then, I wasn't sure if I could just jump into any of them or if there's a story to follow between all of them. -Aish
@@AishRios No seriously, it really does... If you had ANY kinda skills at all on this game, it will show. The animation was top-notch quality at the time, and the control response was PERFECT; as expected with Capcom. One of the best 2D fighters ever made!

Yeah, for gaming for sure that would be better. But as a work tool that needs video editing software I believe Aish when he says an ipad is more suited to that.
@@Omar_LittleI'll say work tool if it is Ipad Pro 11" or better the 12.9" model... As for gaming with the G8 Galileo... Wow wow slow it down they don't make the best tablets they make one of the best , galaxy ultra is a step above for sure , and the OnePlus pad 30 mins later an entire days battery!
Hardware wise I can see the argument, but for someone wanting to make content or even a general use laptop replacement I think the apps available for iOS makes it a better option. -Aish

What's *your* favorite telescopic controller?
Sky Watcher V5 Hand Controller
The Galileo G8! Great work getting that mod done, clean job and clean video Mr Aish! 😊
Thank you for the recommendation! It looks like a pretty solid add-on for fighting games!

Love mine with my s9
how well does it hold in? I see you keep moving the left side back up. I assume it slips during use, is that the case?
It stays on there pretty good every time I put it on i readjust the left side to make sure it's even, but once you have it on it doesn't move.

It fits a 13 inch Lenovo tablet my wife has, it's a stretch but it's on there pretty good.
