Here's what some icons have to say about the book!!!
Ice-T: "Respect to Soren Baker for documenting the history of gangster rap in these pages. Some hate it. Some love it. But you can’t deny its brutal, hardcore honesty."
The D.O.C.: "History has so often been written by the victors, that you very rarely ever get the real story behind anything. So it’s really important to hear from the people that were there, which is exactly what Soren Baker shares in this book. He writes about it and he’s honest about it."
Xzibit: "Hip-hop changed the world. Gangster rap changed the narrative, and then changed the world again. Soren Baker has been a very integral part of documenting hip-hop on the West Coast for as long as I can remember. I don’t think anybody is more qualified to write this book."
Leslie “Big Lez” Segar: "Soren Baker has changed the perspective of gangster rap by putting his pen to paper. He has given hip-hop power, proven its potential, and made non-believers contemplate all of its possibilities. The truth in his writing leaves no stone unturned, something he's done again with The History of Gangster Rap. Soren doesn’t just champion hip-hop. He also reveals its flaws and its truths."

Yes, @blocc316. It should be up in less than a week. Thanks for watching & supporting #UniqueAccessEnt.
It goes HARD bro. Just played it on the way home from work today. There's just something about it holding true to real rap music. Lynch is the best. Only complaint is I wanted the tracks to be longer. But on the other hand, some albums that are too lengthy lose their luster.
I've been a Brotha Lynch Hung fan since X-raided psycho active & 24 Deep fan since 7 years old.... 1992 1993 My Dad bumpin" playin" Lynch's Music Awol records : Black Market records : Gangsta Dre : Hollow Tip : Young Joker music : I'm proud to be from & still livin in the 916 Sac-Town

Great interview! Brotha Lynch Hung is just as a great WestCoast legend that became an established name, in the 1990s, just as Snoop Dogg, Kokane, Big Prodeje, Spice 1, Jayo Felony, B.G. Knocc Out, Kurupt, Dresta, Daz Dillinger, etc.
A Brotha Lynch Hung and former Three 6 Mafia affilate, T-Rock, album would be 🔥!!!
I never knew Brotha Lynch Hung was a producer too.
We're glad you enjoyed the interview, @Mr.Majestic77. Thanks as always for watching & supporting #UniqueAccessEnt.
@@UniqueAccessEnt Thank you for being a good interviewer. In my training in the U.S. Navy, that included journalism, it was always stress to let the guess speak, and when asking questions, be brief and to the point, as well speaking on their past accomplishments and their future goals in their career or outside of it. You do just that. Thank you for doing the interview with a WestCoast legend in Brotha Lynch Hung.
You had any thoughts on conducting an interview with up an coming WestCoast M.C, Bishop Snow?
Bishop Snow, comes out of Oceanside, California. He definitely has a 1990s WestCoast vibe and is very lyrical. I would say he is a cross between Coolio and Kam. Please check out some of his music, as he has a very interesting upbringing. Not your typical Gangster Rap artist but at the same time, would have been a perfect artist on the late Eazy-E's Ruthless Records. I could definitely see Bishop Snow, Kam and Kokane doing an album together.
Also, please check another up and coming WestCoast artists Doggystyleeee, out of San Bernardino, California. Bishop Snow & Doggystyleeee has doing some tracks together.
West West!!!!

@@jsonbourne7 facts!!
I slept on Brotha Lynch Hung until I decided to check him out while creating some '90s mixes. I slept on him and Ganksta NIP. They're both great. I remember they had an underground buzz back then, but I was more into EPMD, Das Efx, Native Tongues and that whole wave they showed on MTV and BET in the early '90s. Brotha Lynch Hung has some GREAT material. He can rap and his beats are dope. The lyrics are dark, but honest. I'm going to cop his discography eventually.

So glad to see Brotha Lynch doing well. Mannn that first album back in the days he was like to us he's the next biggest happening. I won't ever forget that magic he made he was the man all around. I was wondering it would be cool to hear him do songs with people like B-Real, Son Doobie, Del The Funky Homosapien, Brother J from X clan, Rodney O, Kid Sensation, Cold 187 Rum, Spice One, E-40, like just two of them or more on a future album after this album. A few party songs on the album to lounge to could maybe get him more publicity and more fans. He should try it out a little. He's a heck of a talent. That's the right way on how to conduct yourself his maturity is rock solid that's how you keep calm and stay out of them prisons young men out their. Man I'm wishing him all the best and keep those albums coming this new one is solid. God Bless that brother.

I’ll keep all the way 100, I overall wasn’t feeling season of da siccness 2 unfortunately. As hard as that is for me to say but there was a few songs that I really liked though. I understand Lynch is a lot older now and not “Hungry” like he was back in the early 90s and has had health problems as well. But he’s an amazing producer and rapper and always gonna be my favorite no matter what though. Just had to be honest.

@@UniqueAccessEnt lynch produced those songs very well and it sounded hella clean and no distortion or anything that sounded like a weird mix. He knows his shit very well and imo top 5 best rap producers hands down… yeah I might have only been feeling a few songs on his new album but he did a great job foreal foreal. He’s probably the main reason and influence that made me wanna make beats. I was mesmerized by his old albums growing up haha 😆 I feel like he’s slept on because his lyrics but you gotta respect his hustle and talent both on beats and rap. Ain’t nobody rapped like lynch back in the day, way ahead of his time spittin gas which definitely turned heads back in the day I’m sure. It's too bad he didn't get more love for Seasons on a larger scale. Fact is, not only is he one of the most gifted rappers, he broke new ground with horrorcore and killed it. The whole idea of what Seasons was about seems like an impossibility in a lot of ways, especially since a lot of gangsta rappers were being called out for being "studio gangster" during that time with people taking rap lyrics so literally and calling out any rapper that claims "this or that," without judging it correctly as art. So, if you drop a gangsta rap album in the 90s and add this element of "serial killer" "cannibal" themes to it, I could see it failing badly as people come out and start saying "You never ate any babies," or whatever. My point is this: That endeavor was difficult and not only did he do it well, it's one of the most well-written and well-thought-out albums ever created in rap. It's a masterpiece that few rappers could even touch or even hope to get close to. It's basically genius on so many levels.
