I think Japan just prefers 1/144 scale over 1/100, so they make that, and don't care what the rest of the world thinks or wants. Lot of people say they like 1/144 because they don't take up as much room, and these probably have a higher profit margin too.

This model is my first Gunpla ever, so seeing a lot of videos about this RG model makes me feel proud of owning one haha

How complex is the build
very intricate but not super complex, each piece fits in just right if you clean it up well, extremely rewarding build and definitely recommended
