Eve Hewson, Jessie Buckley and Kerry Condon accept Oscar Wilde awards

Irish actresses Eve Hewson ("Bad Sisters"), Jessie Buckley ("Women Talking") and Kerry Condon ("The Banshees of Inisherin") accepted honors at the US-Ireland Alliance’s annual Oscar Wilde Awards on Mar. 9, 2023.
Hewson thanked her father, Paul Hewson (a.k.a. Bono), for "not stealing her thunder" during the ceremony. Oscar nominee Condon, who played Mike's daughter-in-law on "Better Call Saul," recounted her first trip to the U.S. Buckley, an Oscar nominee in 2022 for "The Lost Daughter," admitted she prefers having "chips and tequila" at home over being "squashed like some kind of sausage into a dress" at awards shows.
