- We celebrated our first annual Inspire Awards! on Saturday, November 5. CMA’s Inspire Program is dedicated to working with groups that help underserved communities, those experiencing physical and medical challenges, and educational programs inspiring the next generation of marine conservationists. The awards celebrated and honored those individuals who are conquering their own challenges while making a positive impact in their community! Congratulations to all award recipients.

It was so cool to meet other inspire guests, and watch everyone else get their own unique award!!! Savannah's performance was amazing as well!!!! Congratulations to all the other award winners, and thank you so much to CMA for this really cool award ceremony! Not very many places will let people with disabilities do half the things you guys let us do with your resident animals, and that's part of the reason why I love CMA! No one with a disability will be denied! You'll be excepted, welcomed with open arms, and treated equally! Keep up the AMAZING work you guys do, and thank you so much for my Coco award!!!! CMA you are the best, on this day, November 11th, my heart is hurting over the 1st anniversary of the loss of beautiful sweet Winter, I loved her so much, I never missed a year of visiting her on my yearly vacation from the time she was rescued, without your hard work, I know that we would not have had her for the 16 years, I bright light burned out though this day one year ago at 8:00 pm, she will forever be in my heart, and now when I get to my vacation spot, I go directly to the ocean and put me feet in, to be close to her.Thank you for taking such great care of all of the residents at CMA, your dedication and love is truly appreciated, I can’t wait to see you all this spring… love from Missouri ❤Can’t wait to see Izzy!!!
