What a great conversation. It felt so natural. You’re really getting a knack for interviewing people. Of course, they don’t call him the King for nothing… Eddie is so down to earth, friendly, and engaging. Isn’t it the best when our heroes are even cooler in real life?!?! There aren’t too many sports where this is consistently the case. Gotta love BMX ❤ 🙌
Ill never forget when my grandma took me and my sister and to the video store and I saw the cover of Rad I rented that movie and it was instantly a classic. I am only 39 it was before my time and it still just hit me a young kid in BMX. Its also crazy as you get older you loose that ability to bail out of tricks and being so agile.
He really is a BMX legend for sure! It was awesome sitting down to talk with him. He has his own RUclips channel so be sure to check him out! Thanks for the comment and for watching!! 🤙🏼
@@cruisinginthe808 yes im subscribed to his channel. Bra he also rip motocross i was watching on his channel. But thanks for all the awesome uploads. I still remember when he came here. down nawiliwili i was front row. Thanks bra. Yessah
Wow, amazing interview. I knew Eddie started out racing but I didn’t know he was involved with so many different manufacturers. Great interview !!!!! Thanks Brochanics🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I first heard the name "Eddie Fiola" in 1981 in a bmx magazine. The photo was black & white, and he was wearing mirrored aviator glasses with a towel on his head under his cap.
The guy is a legend! I remember him coming to my island back in the day and it was incredible! So cool to meet him and sit down and talk. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Eddie was my favorite freestyler growing up and it was so cool to be able to meet and talk to him later as an adult. Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻

@@cruisinginthe808 I was on my phone watching. I would have commented more but i hate phones for that lol..IM all about a pc and keyboard..I can see and type faster. So Again, RAD, and also what a time to be alive. If you were born in the 70s you got to grow up in the 80s and that period of time will always be looked at as the greatest. From tv,movies, music, toys,BMX, fashion, MTV and more. I got to meet Eddie when we lived in Las Vegas from 2012-2014. I got to ride his personal proformer he was releasing. It wasnt even yellow i think it was black at the time..I tried getting some videos too but i was shaking like an idiot. See growing up in west Tn we didnt get to meet people like Eddie. Or I never did. So i met him through magazines, vhs tapes, etc. I had all my walls top to bottom side to side wallpapered in magazine pages of these guys. Like many things in life we move on. We get older, we find new hobbies "or most do"..and i got away from BMX but its still running through my veins at 52. I was never good. I could land maybe 1 foot jam tail whip out of 100 lol..And that was my claim to fame haha..BUT i bled BMX. I loved my bikes..Still love them...Thanks again for sharing this moment. Stay RAD!!!!
I’m sure it did. But it was still cool that she brought a movie like this to the screen! It may not have been a big hit back then but it’s a cult classic now! Thanks for the comment and for watching!! 🤙🏼

He is freestyler idol 85-89.
Totally agree! Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻
Didn’t hurt that Talia Shire is Francis Ford Coppola’s little sister… or Nicolas Cage’s aunt.
Comes easier when you have family in the industry.
