- I made the Zheng Jiang campaign be over with on turn 13 on LEGENDARY (the hardest difficulty). Literally a caveman can win at this point with Blade of Xiang Yu on turn 7, Lü Bu on turn 10, Chang'an and Zhang Liao on turn 13.

10/10 discovered midway in the video that im not a true gamer, truly quality content worth a week of wait.
Lu Bu was fighting in heavy snow, which not only slows all units down but greatly reduces fatigue recovery. That's why he wasn't recovering from exhaustion.
I don't know about you fellas, but I really would like to see a complete run, from start to finish.

Might be a record for the Zheng Jiang campaign but the actual record is a finished campaign on turn 1 with Liu Bei through unification and territory trading.

It is some very nice theory crafting and an amazing heroic victory in turn 12. However, capturing the emperor very early and having such high treachery is far from making it game over, because everyone hates you and declares war on you pretty quickly and makes your life a living hell for as long as you control him. I would like to see you continue the playthrough and confirm if a caveman can really win that easily from this point.

I'm not a streamer but there is a challenge I did that really enjoyed and if you made the video it might become more popular. It;s one of the challenges one seeks once playing on legendary is just too easy. The challenge is to capture entire map if you declare war on ALL factions on Day ONE (apart from your vassals). I completed it as Dong Zhuo, its probably possible with other factions eg Liu Bei. it really requires a lot of skill and is tremendous fun! Please consider it! Pro-tip for those willing to try it out: you can vassalize (by coercing) Tao Qian, Ma Teng and Han Sui on day one and annex all three within first 7 days!

Hey trm. I actually found a way to capture Chang´an on turn 6 as Liu Biao. Although you have to do the entire run without Lü Bu, its still a pretty good campaign start.

So uh, like I'm a big fan of watching people fall in love with the Total War games but I feel the need to point out that as entertaining as it is for you to cap the Emperor as fast as possible, its actually a really bad idea to do so. The problem with capping the Emperor is that it turns the Han Empire into your vassal. Normally vassals aren't necessarily a bad thing, the problem is that the Han Empire is spread out across all of China specifically to be a punching bag for EVERYBODY else. Their territory is literally there to be gobbled up by somebody else. They will not recruit armies, they will not build up towns, they'll just sit there, maybe move an army around and wait to be wiped out. The thing is, as your vassal, they will pull you into their wars against literally everybody and then not back you up at all like a normal vassal because, again, they don't recruit. Which is why you ended up with army after army coming at you in your previous game of Zheng Jiang.
If uh, if you wanna try the game without ultra harder than legendary difficulty, maybe try a game without capturing the emperor.
He only did it for the income, so he could afford his own big army with the supplies of Han empire. By the time everyone will try to take those lands, he won't be losing much, cause the land is spread around everywhere, so he doesn't mind losing them, because at the same time he will be getting the territories around him.
@@TheClamoris Doesn't quite work out that way. If you watch his last game, you'll notice he's basically the target of a crusade with every faction in the world marching across china to hit him. Liu Bei starts off in eastern China, he's in western China. They do this because its Legendary and the AI makes it a point to target the player on that difficulty and he was drawn into war against Liu Bei because Liu Bei was attacking the Han settlements around his starting area.

U got the Zheng part right, the Jiang should sound like...almost like TS (like tsunami) yang (connect the two, like TSYANG) but the TS should have an almost J after, so it'd be like tsjyang. The yang part is fast, like saying young but with an A instead (instead of ou). I differentiated it from how you would say yang (from ying yang), because the yang there is like yeng right, but with the yang, you should really have an open mouth (like saying awch).
I really don't know why I even typed that, I just wanted to contribute something hahaha. Anyway, cheers on another video, looking forward to the next 1.

This has got to be one of my favourite total war series, I don’t know why but it’s just great
DUDE STOP RESTARTING YOUR CAMPAIGN. I WANNA SEE YOU FINISH THE WHOLE DAMN THING.
I think mostly he forget one important factor, by vassal the Hans this early will make every faction on the map hate your faction and they will almost never accept your deal and wage endless war against you, also if you make peace with any faction for some reason the Hans will drag you back into war with that faction
That is why you get rid of the Han as Dong Zhuo. Unless you want to do total war (war with every faction when you meet them).

@@ThePppp89 Zheng Jiang can get good rep with other faction if he expand slowly and just take care of small faction. Taking the Hans every campaign this early just repeat history of getting swarm by everyone
@@gabri123789 Oh yeah it's definitely possible. What I'm saying is that trmplays just doesn't care at all about diplomatic relations and ends up in war with everyone anyway.
The run is perfected, carry it through to your well-deserved victory and see how quick you can win the 3 kingdoms fight with this headstart.

Would be interesting if pass max exhaustion your general fall unconscious or receive a lot of damage cause by a heart attack.
This also could be use in enemies, mailing them run until they drop dead.

For the segment where you're talking about fatigue points, the reason why they are all exhausted is because you did a force march on the army. That's the main downside of force march, your entire army is going to be exhausted and cant rest on the battlefield to recover.

Btw if you Make Lu Bü go of his horse he wont charge the anti cav and he will fight them withour losing to much hp

Amazing video. After watching this, I gave a couple tries on legendary Zheng Jiang campaign as well, but Dong Zhuo faction never attack me after I took tool maker. Am I the only one has the terrible RNG?
