Your page is such a gem for us who were the right age to enjoy all of the amazing toys the 80’s had to offer. Seeing the Power Lords and Beast Machines unlocked memories of toys that I completely forgot I’d owned
There was a movie from the 80's that had a protagonist that was attached to a tank in a very similar fashion to those "Beast Machines". It was called " Elimanators" from 1986.
Something that blew my mind occurred last week. I was at Comic-Con and saw a guy with a perfect bravestarr outfit, and a guy that had an incredible 30/30 outfit. I got a picture with them both. And then I was told I was the only person in the entire Comic-Con that recognized 30/30. I didn't think 30/30 was forgettable
I would have recognized them both, and probably have been stunned at their costumes. Giving them mega points for originality. Nobody does those guys. YOu need to share that pic on The GEN Xperience FB or Insta.
You are an awesome viewer then. The kind any channel would love. Thank you. I try to just have fun. Some shows are better than others, but I enjoy it. Please come back for more.
@@GENXPERIENCE I have lots of shows on my channel too. You might like them. We have lots of puppetry, comedy, and weird toys. I am a puppeteer and toymaker
I really appreciate that. I just love reminiscing about an AWESOME time, you know. Great toys, great life...of course we were kids and weren't exposed to the crazy of the world back then. Even so, we had some wonderful plastic playthings to keep us occupied. Thank you for dropping by, please come back soon.
You have no idea that you just solved a mystery that has driven me crazy since my childhood in the 80s. And I am so thankful for it. For decades there has been a toy that I remember owning, but could not remember what series it was associated with. Furthermore, whenever describing it, I would always be met with looks of confusion. But after almost 40 years of mystery, because of your video...I now know what series that toy came from and its name. It was Raygoth from Power Lords. I used to use him as a monster to battle GI Joes, or to battle my smaller vehicle voltron. It is so awesome to see that toy again.
WOW, that is too cool. Seriously. I remember so little about the Power Lords, and they were short lived. I don't think I have any, but you having one and not remembering where it was from until my video...make this whole thing always worth it. Glad I could help solved a mystery and glad you enjoyed.
I've still got my complete set of Wendy's Gobots. More of my Gobots seemed to survive my childhood than my Transformers. I still have several of them, along with the command center.
Remember "Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials"? That artist Wayne Barlowe was a designer on Power Lords. Trippy book. Thank you for the look back; I remember a few of these!
I had the red Omnibot Transformer, and the silver one I think. My buddy was into MASK, those were really cool toys! I stuck with focusing my allowance on more Transformers though. I don’t remember some of these at all though. So lucky to have grown up in an awesome decade for kids, and then became a teen in the early 90s and experienced the whole Grunge phase! Great times! 😊
The Care Bear you randomly threw up a few times was the only familiar toy for me, but your narration and storytelling make this a worthwhile visit as always 🩷
That was NOble Heart Horse, and his ORIGINAL toy was very rare. There is talk that it was mostly in the UK. His look varied, too...A LOT. But I was going to include since he is simply very rare. Glad you recognized him. Thank you for the kind words and visiting the channel. Hope to see you again.
Oh wow, I had the MOTU dinosaur, the one with the rolling wheel thing. I remember playing with that thing a lot just because I liked the odd motion. Memory unlocked.
I want to say thank you! I’ve been searching for what the Power Lords were for years! Ever since I got one as a gift and had my super-conservative mom take it away a week later. It’s been im-poss-ible to find! Your video was a random click with only the hope it’d show what I remembered as a child, and it did! Thank you so much!!
This makes my night. Seriously, thank you for stopping to write. I think that is what I like best; hearing stories of remembering something long forgotten...and if I can help like your story, EVEN BETTER. Thank you for watching.
I loved the Power Lords, but they were gone so fast we never got any. You are right that production costs probably killed them. The articulation and originality was crazy! And the action features were completely insane!
Brother you just took me back because I was lucky enough to have all three Omnibots and they were absolutely amazing!!!! These guys should have definitely received some Legacy rebirth!!!!
Really brings back some long forgotten memories. Nothing was like the 1980s when it comes to marketing toys to kids. Never came close to owning everything but I did have transformers, GIJoe, Voltron and he-man before my childhood ended and I got interested in girls.
Yeah, how could we own them all...although I did see some kids try. There was such a great diverse array of options, and I loved most of them. Thanks for watching.
I remember the magic of finally saving enough allowance (or begging mom/grandpa) and going to KMart to get that Transformer I had been yearning for. Getting home, opening the box, carefully applying the stickers. Great nostalgic memories! I remember looking for the Dinobot Swoop for months and finally finding one left at a store one day. I always wanted Voltron toys but spent most of my energy on G1 Transformers. Had a few Joes and Starwars figures.
Thanks. Like me, you were more than a passing fan. Those with passing familirization may find some of these new and unexpected. Hope to see you here again.
Me and my bro had Billboard Blast, Pit Stop Catapult and The Collector (Alex Sector's toll booth). Loved MASK. I have heard that Loyal Subject is re-releasing like-for-like replicas of the brand next year!
@@GENXPERIENCE Thanks although I have to say it was more a case of good for my mum and dad who got them us for Christmas/birthdays! I am not a toy collector as such but I am really looking forward to seeing what they come up with. Apparently they are keeping the original packaging designs which had that amazing artwork on it!
I want the Spinnerella you have shown, not the one I saw on Amazon. That one is different, it doesn't look as good as yours..Does anyone know where he got it from?? Thank you
Oh, that is kind of weird and sad. The only BS figure you get, and it is that crazy, out of nowhere, doesn't really fit Civil War looking motorbike Transformer? Yikes! Thanks for sharing that BOROBOT story, I appreciate it.
Why do I remember that jet pack guy? Aside from him, I do remember the Wendy's Gobots. Those were kool! I wish I would've kept/saves mine! Tho I do remember all these awesome collections lines! Great pick!
I had Overdrive. Only mail in transformers fig. I did have the original Boba Fett and Anakin Ghost figures from the Star Wars line but, like you said, I wanted if now and not to wait. 😎 I also never realized the name of my Mask gas station being called “Snake Oil” until this video. Good call. Great video! It was definitely Up My Alley so I’m glad it was UpYoursToo! (“Make 7 … Up Yours!)😂
Wow, that is awesome...not the splitting backpack, that is crap Quality Control. I do want him on my shelf with Classified today, though. Thanks for sharing the memory.
The Omnibots were originally available through the offer packed with the toys, and you needed 3 robot points. I didn’t have many Transformers toys, but luckily Kelloggs cereal later had the same offer, with robot points from the cereal boxes, and no added payment. Since we always had cereal, I got Camshaft and Overdrive from the mail away.
@@GENXPERIENCE I don't know if this was only in Canada (where I am) or US too. Not only that, but I collected 4 (Kelloggs) robot points, used 3 for Camshaft and had 1 left when the promotion ended. But 6 months later, they brought it back, so I only needed 2 more then got Overdrive!
There was a shop in my town (England) that sold different things and they always had interesting toys that weren't sold elsewhere locally. From the Power Lords line I had Adam Power, Arkus and two Beast Machines, Thrash and Warbot.
Some really fun choices. Laser light stuff invaded a lot of toylines including MASK. I've seen advertisements for the various Transformers, GI Joe and even My Little Pony mail-ins.
Laser light was a...BIG HIT...if you know what I mean, lol. There were so many obscure toys from those mail aways, too. I was too impatient to get those. THanks for the comment.
I wanted the original, Jazz, but never got him. I did get Soundwave though, so I guess it evens out lol. I still collect He-Man and She-Ra, I would love to add Lookie and Kowl to the collection. I always wanted Jem dolls when I was a kid, but never was able to get any. A few years ago, a friend gave me 3 full sets of Jem dolls, I was so excited to finally have them. I did get Bonnee and Asklee later on.
Awesome to hear you still collect. I do hope you get those two rare pieces. I do recollect. Meaning the Origins Collection of MOTU...they need more POP for sure. In recent years I collected the INtegrity Toys Jem Dolls. Expensive but absolutely perfect. Good luck
I remember I came across the Omnibots at a place called Kook's. It was like a Big Lots type of situation so they were relatively cheap considering their size. I knew what they were so I was super excited to see them. I was a kid so when something was supposedly "only available through this offer" I figured I'd never get them. That same place also have Centurions and Inhumanoids.
That is incredible. I imagine they weren't in the standard TF boxes like regular ones. Were they in Diaclone boxes? Honestly, that store sounds awesome.
@@GENXPERIENCE They were in the plastic bags that you would have gotten if you mail ordered them. There were no tech specs or anything. Just the figure and weapons in a clear bag. Kinda like how the prizes in cereal came in back in our day. Remember getting an actual half decent toy from a cereal box? I also had some of those Wendy's Go-Bots. I remember that unlike the typical Go-Bots, there was no die cast, which really set them apart. They were good toys but I remember always feeling like they were just another "happy meal" toy at the end of the day. But back then those toys were pretty legit. We were definitely the toy spoiled generation. So much so there are tons of us still buying them LOL. (I have a few shelves of Transformers myself.)
I did all the mail ins. Emperor(before he was Sidious), the reinforcements from Cybertron Autobots, and Hawk(GI Joe). I’m sure all are in a landfill somewhere now.😞
I had the bilboard blast from MASK loved it with Dusty. IDK why but I loved the miniature figs over the normal 3 3/4 figs that we usually had with other toylines.
MASK had a cool factor that is hard to explain. I got the whole first and 2nd wave as an adult. Wish the show had gone on longer. BTW, I am thinking about getting those mini sets to add to my collection. Thanks for the comment.
I had Oddball, too! The purple spaceship. If memory serves, his bio said he was a mad scientist. I didn't have any Gobots so he became a Decepticon Minibot.
I have asked this question of many vintage toy lovers and maybe you could help. Back in the 70s I had a purple wasp spaceship/robot. It had suction cups on its feet and a grappling hook came out of its mouth when you turned its eyes. It also had a bomb at dropped which they termed a bug bomb. I have been trying to find out what toy line this ship came from. It looked like a little bit the Galaxian graphic on the side of the video game. Nobody seems to know what this thing is. There were several spaceships to go along with it, one being a black spider. My mom bought me this from a discount store called treasure Island. I love this toy as a little girl and I would love to find a vintage one to buy. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
I'm going to look around for this today. The description doesn't seem like it will be hard to find, but since you haven't had any luck, I'm not sure ill fare better, lol
3:03 You know, As I watched this... MOTU claimed it was the first... With the Light Beam Action stuff... But I beg to differ!!! There was ANOTHER Before them! I mean, OK it was slightly different as it basically used the same tech as in a Infa-Red Remote Control... But that still counts as it is a spectrum of light! The STARBIRD AVENGER from GT was actually the first... Pre-Dating the MOTU idea... The idea was simple, If you had teh Alien Spacecraft and an Avenger, Both had Firing Red Lasers and both had a Standard Infrared receiver... If teh lasers of one hit the infrared sensor... The Sound and Lights woudl stop for about 5 seconds or so... I never got the Alien Craft, but I had an Original Starbird and I did also get an Avenger... As I had both at the same time... I used my OG Starbird fighting against my Avenger... And yeah, It still worked! Funny how something so simple can trigger so many memories And also reveal that Mattel LIES A LOT! (Or maybe they just thought that they were being clever as they used Actual Light Beams and not infared! Its still LIGHT one way or another!)
Thank you for sharing. Funny you mention that because I went by their CLAIM, but I also found some other content about a version before it, so it is all Marketing Mumbo Jumbo, lol. Thank you for sharing the info and watching too.
Black star from early to mid 80’s the space cowboys He-man type hero was the absolute best forgotten franchise imo, the action figures had flint wheels in there backs that would make their chest light up .
@@GENXPERIENCE I have Warlord and Neptul from the Blackstar line with the flint wheels. Warlord still works too! There are repair tutorials on RUclips about the flint wheels, so I'll get Neptul back into shape. :)
I had the beam blaster set for Masters of the Universe and it could be bought in most bigger toy stores here in Denmark and I got mine from the Local Toy store. Sadly it sucked so bad, that it ended on a shelf only a few days later,It did work though and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. But all Toys with batteries that kind of plays with themselves, was always bad Toys in my mind. Masters of the Universe was massive here in Denmark and we also had the final dinosaur stuff at the end of MOTU,but those things just felt out of place in the MOTU Universe. Even the new adventures of He-man was available in most toy stores here, but that reboot never caught on.
I know how big MOTU was here, but I always heard how huge it was in your neck of the woods. Yes, some of those European nations got a few extra pieces after the US gave up on them. Thanks for sharing your stories. Loved them
My deep cut is the whole Ulesses 31 line that seems like it didn't get wide distribution outside France. My favourite thing I own is a 3inch figure of the yellow robot that appears in the closing credits of each episode but doesn't actually feature in any of the stories. A school friend had a French mum so that's how he got it before gifting it to me, an English kid. It's a thing of beauty!.
@@GENXPERIENCE He was a well known character for sure even becoming the face of J.I. Joe for a time. His figure started as a Proof of Purchase figure and even had a phone number you had to call to get part of the qualifications to order the figure. Later versions would be direct to buy catalog through various promotions. He was package with several vehicles, though I don't recall if these were sold at stores. I could never find any. I was big J.I. Joe nut when i was a kid, and Slaughter was my favorite wrestler, so it was a like a match made in heaven... Sadly I never got my hands on any figure.
I had the Starriors T rex in the beast machine add.I didn't realize how expensive it was. Maybe it was the non tethered remote control it came with lol
Have 2 of the Wendy's Gobots. There's a couple on this list I knew. If I would've seen a Loo-Kee figure, I would've burned it. Also, have one of the Omnibots. It's pretty cool.
I was kinda of surprised by Starduster being included since I have him, I just assumed all Joe fans would know. The cereal also came with a three or four part mini comic book about Starduster. The girl toys I can't comment on as I'm ignorant of them, never had any Masters of the Universe figures, I remember Power Lords, never had any; wasn't there a one-off, maybe a mini-series explaining the storyline? The cereal mail in for The Transformers was surprising as I have no memory of it. I do own Transformers but never are Cookie Crisp, Even as a kid, I thought cookies for breakfast ...ick.
Thanks for writing. That is awesome you had Starduster. Like Jazz in Cookie Crisp, the Deep Cut is because both his existence in media, plus the way to get him was not something a casual fan would know about, but Joe Fans would. Sounds like many of these were new or interesting to you. Thanks for the comment.
I had a couple of the omnibots. They were too small to sell as regular autobot cars, but too big to sell as minibots, so since there was only three of them, Hasbro just sold them as mail-order toys.
I had learned they were smaller, but I didn't realize how much smaller. I am going to look up a comparison. It would be weird that they were an in-between size. Thanks for the knowledge.
I didn't know about the Jem and Wendy's Gobots. But then we didn't have a Wendy's over here to begin with. That MLP cloud shower set doesn't seem like a deep cut to me tough. I saw it several times during my childhood. I always tought it looked like would fit better with the Carebears tough.
Perhaps you are right about the Waterfall, but as the Care Bears Care A Lot was so obvious, and the Pony sets aren't iconic, that one was about as forgotten as I could get. Thanks for comments and the view, I do appreciate it.
@@GENXPERIENCE For me i'd say the Birthflower mailaway ponies. Not just 1 mailaway but an entire series of 12! One for each month. Their cutie marks were all flowers that are asociated to those months. Like a daffodil for the month March.
My uncle had a toy when I was a kid in the 80's and it disappeared, never saw it again. It looked like a big green monster with red eyes, it was a large toy. I think it might have had a tail, it's hard to get image in my head. It might have been some kind of generic monster creature or made of swamp plants or slime, all I remember was the cool red eyes mostly.
Sounds pretty cool, but I too remember many generic monsters around the 70s and 80s. It could have stood alone. As usual though, I have to try to look him up. Thanks
You are right about the Omnibots never being updates by the mainline franchise. I know that at least one of the 3rd party companies has started to develop them. But what about the Power Dashers from the same catalogue, or the "Time Warrior" watch? One of my school friends had the Marshal toy from Bravestarr. It looked most impressive. You may be able to help me. There is a toy-line I can remember the look of, and what they did, but I cannot remember the name of. They were friction-engine boxes which had posts and ports over them, which came with sci-fi vehicle accessories which you could mix-n-match connect them onto the boxes, like what the Centurions could do. The packaging had Star Wars-style hangers on them. Would you know the name of them?
I am trying to remember that, as it is familiar. I will have to rack my brain, because I think I know the toyline your talking about. Oh, and I had ONE Powerdasher...so I did do one mail away (the cheap one, lol)
@@GENXPERIENCE I'm glad that it sounds familiar. I've been asking around for it, looking at sites like eBay and the like, but without the name I don't know what I'm looking for. I do remember in some british comics from the 80s there were advertised some Pop Ball monsters, rubber monsters in the shapes of balls which had a split along one side (the mouth or whatever, and they spat out smaller monster balls. Also, do you remember the 'Snailiens'? aliens which had flit-cup rubber backpacks that could attach to smaller companions and send them flying, and the big characters had swappable armour.
@@darkhelmet-hj9tz Possibly, but I seem to remember the vehicle blocks being more generic than that. From what I can remember, they were more like diaclones, with little silver pilots, and they could make land vehicles, space vehicles & flying vehicles.
I was quite surprised I’ve got some of these. It must be something to do with being in the UK - it seems a lot of the stuff considered rare in the US was a lot more accessible here. Maybe the unsellable units were just sent over to go into discount bins. I mean those two Mask sets were incredibly lame in their conception, but I was given both of them. Scottish newsagents used to be full of sad, faded Star Wars playsets in creased and battered packaging as late as 1990! Not like that any more, alas. The excitement of discovering discontinued toys at the bottom of a giant basked is long gone.
Oh, what a great comment, thank you. Yes, Europe and the relationship with US Toys has always been so fascinating. Much of what was made at the end of the toyline went to Europe often and did not even get released in the states (weird, I know). The bargain bin thing is very interesting....but yes, those little playsets seemed a bit lackluster, but I don't remember them here at all, lol. T hanks for watching.
Hey man. I would love to meet you. I haven't gone to conventions much in years, but perhaps I will do one in the near future. It would be an easy trip to manage.
My dad sent away for the gray transformer as a collectable and never let me play with it. I loved the power lords i had 3 the main bad guy was one of the coolest action figures of all time imo. The beast machines best appearance was as bosses in the popular early 90s game Smash TV
@@GENXPERIENCE I still remember clearly my mom taking me clothes shopping at the mall. Kay Bee was the first store by the main entrance I always got to buy 1 toy to play with while we shopped. I had never seen a commercial or knew wtf a power lord was but when I saw that bug monster bad guy I was like OMG!!! MOST BAD ASS TOY EVER MUST HAVE!!!!
I was a very sweet and innocent child, so I never noticed that Starduster has an absolutely massive package on that cereal box. But now, as a fallen and debauched adult, of course I noticed immediately. 13:58
Original owner of one from 1987. Clip that attaches the top jaw is prone to wear over time. I refuse to push the tail to activate the tongue mechanism bc tongue is segmented with plastic straw material that’s also fragile, but the action feature is powerful enough to pull in any TCat or MOTU figure easily!

@@petehobson1054 Also a huge fan of the art.
I had the My Little Pony waterfall! Sprinkles was my first MLP and she had a little duck friend that came with the waterfall set.
Sprinkles, what a cute name.
Would you consider sprinkling on some Gen x toy collectors?
Oh wow. I had completely forgotten about the Omnibots. I had Camshaft as a kid. I also had Reflector.
You did? Lucky dog...and especially with the original Reflector. DAMN, I am jealous.
I want the Spinnerella you have shown, not the one I saw on Amazon. That one is different, it doesn't look as good as yours..Does anyone know where he got it from?? Thank you
I actually got a Col. Borobot for Christmas. Sadly, he was the only Bravestarr fig I ever got so kind of hard to play with on his own.
Great pick!
Awesome. Happy you liked. I don't know, Jet Pack Guy is so rare
I had Overdrive. Only mail in transformers fig. I did have the original Boba Fett and Anakin Ghost figures from the Star Wars line but, like you said, I wanted if now and not to wait. 😎
I also never realized the name of my Mask gas station being called “Snake Oil” until this video. Good call.
Great video! It was definitely Up My Alley so I’m glad it was UpYoursToo! (“Make 7 … Up Yours!)😂
Lol. Good for you on acting. Instead, I'd wait. But kind of missed out on some goodies. Thank you for watching and the comment.
Starduster was my very first Joe! Cheap backpack that constantly splitbthough.
I didn't know Kellog's did it. Awesome. And I wish I had done what you did.
Brother, you are the only person I have seen on RUclips mention the Great Space Coaster, "No news is good news, with Gary Ganews".
Awesome. I actually was going to do a full show on it. Yeah, it is rarely remembered...but that theme song man...and of course Gary...deserve more.
Was the partially obscured Louky package at 9:28-ish intentional irony or a simple glitch?
I'd like to say I planned it...sadly, not. lol
Well, it fits perfectly, so roll with it!
The care bear cousins are so left out ha
Oh, and I cut Proud Heart Horse out for time, DANG IT
@@GENXPERIENCE don't forget hugs and tuggs
🙂awesome, i love 80s toys.....especially he-man and the masters of the universe
You know it. I hope you continue to enjoy.
There was a shop in my town (England) that sold different things and they always had interesting toys that weren't sold elsewhere locally. From the Power Lords line I had Adam Power, Arkus and two Beast Machines, Thrash and Warbot.
I love how you'd find those guys. Sounds like you had a fair amount.
@ 6:40
I believe you will find Ninja Turtles down the "Ninja Amphibians" aisle. LoL
As one does, lol.
I still have a bunch of original Sectaurs.
Remember those?
I do! Their playset was so cool!
"Put that back, young man. You don't need it..."
"WHAT? That toy is now worth HOW MUCH?"
Oh, savage. But I can totally relate.
Thankfully the new version of Lime Chiffon is NOT an embarrassing Hispanic stereotype so I think they learned their lesson.
She certainly doesn't seem to have any stereotypes attached to her, so that is a positive.
I had the Go-Bots Oddball toy from Wendy's!
What? That is awesome. Those were so forgotten, glad you remembered.
@@GENXPERIENCE Thank you!
did you take a look at the Micronauts Hornetroid?
@@GENXPERIENCE I did. It was much smaller than that
3:03 You know, As I watched this...
@@GENXPERIENCE No Problem... Enjoying your videos... Going to have to watch more! Loving the nostalgia!
Black star from early to mid 80’s the space cowboys He-man type hero was the absolute best forgotten franchise imo, the action figures had flint wheels in there backs that would make their chest light up .
Someone was asking about toys with Flint Wheels, I couldn't remember any specifics. But you might have just helped. Thanks.
And WHO DOESN"T Love that theme song, am I right? It barely showed in the US, sadly.
Man there was these toy guns that would transform into a miniature military play set. Very cool.
YOu are making me remember something, I am going to have to look that up.
@@GENXPERIENCE I have been trying to figure out what those toys are called. I would definitely appreciate the help.
That toyline was called "Army Gear" from Galoob. Sadly there is no way they could do that toyline today.
You are right about that, but they would have been cool to have
@@JoseRodriguez-nz9xb BRO! Thank you for that!!!! I have had these stuck in my brain for years!
j.i. joe honorable mention is the Sgt. Slaughter's action figurel.
Sgt Slaughter as a deep cut? I thought he was pretty well known and available, but I could be totally wrong.
The Power Lords Beast Machines reminds me of the bosses from the arcade game Smash TV
I had to do a quick search, but I can see that. They are a crazy design.
I remember wanting the Omnibots, but I have to say, whenever I hear "Cafe au Lait", I think of Nick Frost in Shaun of the Dead. Oh Myyy!!
I love Shaun of the Dead, lol. Great thing to remember.
Omnibots were available in Canada as well, I had Camshaft!
Nice! I still think I might get one just to have and hold. Were they mail away?
I had Arkus from Power Lords as a kid...i had no idea what line he came from till i was grown 😂
THat is kind of fun. Having a random toy that you didn't know what they were part of, but they joined in all the fun anyway.
I had 2 Power Lords toys, I had won at the fair. Don't think I ver saw them in stores.
I had the Starriors T rex in the beast machine add.I didn't realize how expensive it was. Maybe it was the non tethered remote control it came with lol
You're probably right, electronics were NOT cheap.
That light powered MOTU gimmick was done almost a decade earlier by Hasbro in their Super Joe line.
Interesting. Then the MOTU ad claiming the first light powered toy has A LOT OF EXPLAINING TO DO
I actually had a beast machine! I had the weird blonde dude. Not gonna lie, I had some strange toys as a kid but that one was truly bizarre. LOL
You had SAVOR!? Honestly, I figured no one would remember these. But sounds like you knew the odd ones, lol
Have 2 of the Wendy's Gobots. There's a couple on this list I knew. If I would've seen a Loo-Kee figure, I would've burned it. Also, have one of the Omnibots. It's pretty cool.
I wish I had those omnibots, and yeah...that LOOKEE is "unfortunate" isn't it?
@@GENXPERIENCETil about that 2 pack came out, I always thought Loo-Kee was a girl. I disliked it with a passion.
I remember the jingle for Cafe Au Lait with Burrito
Really? I am going to have to go listen now. That is a DEEP CUT
I never had Billboard Blast or Pitstop Catapult, but I did have Tollbooth.
Pretty awesome. NOne of the 3 are talked about much, but are neat little playset extras...that came with a figure, too. Fun toys.

Ah hah. Well, just goes to show you how our childhood playthings help define our adult playthings.
I' m waiting for a GIJoe classified Super Trooper to hopefully drop. T
You know, even if he was after my initial playtime had ended, Super Trooper looks great for a 1988 figure. He might be added to my Classified, too.
Thanks
Tendril, from Inhumanoids?
What no joke about Beast Machines making a cameo in Smash T.V?
LOL, everyone else has made sure I know that now. I will admit that Smash TV was not a Video Game I was aware of...but now I SURE AM. Thank you
That GoBot space shuttle was NOT a real gobot. It had no arms!! I hated that thing!
Looking closely at each...they weren't much at all. UNIMPRESSIVE
Jayce and the wheeled warriors?
@@darkhelmet-hj9tz Possibly, but I seem to remember the vehicle blocks being more generic than that. From what I can remember, they were more like diaclones, with little silver pilots, and they could make land vehicles, space vehicles & flying vehicles.
Dam I just looked down and there is Camshaft in my collection. I had Savor as a kid
I'm pretty sure I had Camshaft
You had Savor? I didn't know anyone did, lol. I wish I had just did it and mailed away for Camshaft...even if they were smaller.

I had the go bots and pit stop.
I had one Go Bot (can't remember how), but kind of want the Billboard Blast and the PIt Stop Catapult.
I still have three of my Wendy’s Go-Bots! In fact, one I have two of, so I technically have four.
That is awesome you still have them and know they were the Wendy's ones. Cool
Bravestarr was the sh*t.
Any chance you will be at JoeLanta this month? Love to meet you in person.
Hey man. I would love to meet you. I haven't gone to conventions much in years, but perhaps I will do one in the near future. It would be an easy trip to manage.
I remember those Wendy's GoBots were all plastic, no diecast parts like the store-bought ones.
That is a big difference for sure. I didn't have any of Wendy's, but die cast made the originals all the better.
My dad sent away for the gray transformer as a collectable and never let me play with it. I loved the power lords i had 3 the main bad guy was one of the coolest action figures of all time imo. The beast machines best appearance was as bosses in the popular early 90s game Smash TV

Original owner of one from 1987. Clip that attaches the top jaw is prone to wear over time.
