- Assassin's Creed Shadows Gameplay is officially getting revealed in Ubisoft Forward 2024 today. AC Shadows Gameplay will feature unique elements of Parkour, Combat, Stealth and exploring into the world of our 2 new protagonists of Assassins Creed Shadows being Yasuke (Samurai) & Naoe (Shinobi). I knew the gameplay was going to kill me, but I wasn't ready for how much it was going to kill me. Yasuke is cool and I love how brutal he is, but I'm 100% here for Naoe. Everything about her, from the moves to the killings and everything in between, makes me want to cry! November can't get here soon enough!

Really hope they take the time to give blending animations. One thing about Valhalla was if you blend at a table, you'll grab a drink, eat, lean over like you're talking with the person next to you. Working dough, mixing a pot of stew, etc. Those little elements made a world of difference with making the character actually blend with the crowd, not just stoically sitting next to them. Guess it would only be s Naoe thing, but either way I'd like to see that little detail come back.
The parkour is incredible in this game!
My final thoughts on this. I really think this will be a fun AC game. Combat and stealth animations are solid. It is def a good game that they put time into. HOWEVER, The one thing I will judge about the game is the parkour animations and variety… it’s been 10 years since AC unity and I really feel like parkour has taken a backseat since then. Inoue moves a lot faster than Basim but the animations are still the same basic movements of origins so on. Again it’s an RPG AC so that’s ok. But in the future I hope that Developers remember the importance of how cool parkour looked in unity and older games and think of how much ideas you can make with new interactive parkour moves and COMBINING that with the amazing stealth too! Still like I said besides that part, looks like a very fun game.

Many people call me a hat er and a mo cker simply because I express views that they don't agree with, so..... I return the compliments to them in advance and I say they are actually the hat ers because they don't respect the democratic right of the freedom of speech and expression.
My suspicions have been expressed ages ago and they are growing by the day.... There's NOT a single trailer, interview, gameplay or dialogue mentioning a word about the Brotherhood, the Sisterhood, the Templars (they have already been on the island since 1549), THE CREED?, the artefacts (The great sword of Eden is supposed to be under the protection of the AC Japanese Brotherhood), abstergo? 😿 So.... Does it look like an Assassin's Creed game so far?
So I've seen an assassin (Naoe) but what happened to the Creed? 🤷♂I still don't see the slightest, direct and meaningful affiliation of Yasuke and Naoe with the CREED! The missions we've watched look like targeting bad guys who have to be put down for suppressing the people, burning the villages bla bla bla.
I ve seen this before with Odyssey and especially with Valhalla when Eivor (Eivor means protector but not of the blade obviously) when the protagonists were just avengers to bring down the tyranny and protect the people from evil lords and it looks like we ll see the same story over again in AC Shadows. I will not fall for it and I ll wait for the game to come out first because for me, Assassin's Creed game needs to have Assassin's Creed-related narrative and lore. I don't want to play a game with a narrative that runs parallel with the assassin's creed story of that time, Period.

I understand that you are looking for Templar vs Assassins storyline. I think that is something we should hold back for story trailer no? This is just a gameplay reveal, they will take it step by step with the reveals buddy. So far how do you feel about the gameplay?
@@Blakwoodz Hey buddy, great video and the like goes to you only and not to Ubi :) Ubi has run exactly the same marketing campaign and we've seen similar gameplay cut scenes and missions in AC Valhalla. Eivor (whose name means protector) was carrying the blade going on missions and in the end, he/she didn't want anything to do with the hidden ones. Was that misleading from the very start? Now we know it is.
Honestly, am not looking for just a Templars vs Assassins storyline but I am looking for an Assassin's Creed Storyline. Creed means a group of people who have a set of certain beliefs and goals so if the protagonist wants nothing to do with it, then how that game is called assassin's creed? Where's that group of people? 🤷♂
I hope that will be revealed later on as you say but I am not optimistic, if these 2 protagonists were affiliated directly at this point with the brotherhood there would be a mention in the mission something like ''the brotherhood wants the bad guy'' or something else but there isn't.
The gameplay looks cool and fluid, upgraded and refreshed, we need it, I like Naoe 100% although she looks like a dwarf next to Yasuke. The graphics look much better than Valhalla and I really like them, NPCs look a bit easy to deal with? Sponges? but I think it's early days.
Keep going on strong bud and I truly hope that I get this wrong in the end.

Man, Naoe is easily on master assassin level with her arsenals. I hope we get to see her climb up to master assassin rank (or in this case, master shinobi)
Gameplay looking badass. Horse mechanics improved but not rider position. I am going to enjoy this game ❤
this game is exactly what i was expected from a stealth assassins creed they even exceeded my expectation as my expectations was average but now I'm exited, the only thing am afraid of is the variety of animations for the hidden blade kill, I hope we get at least 3 animations for killing with the hidden blade like in unity, I love that slide and kill animation they had, I hope they will add something like that

This game looks perfect in every way so far. It’s beautiful to look at, the combat is crazy for both characters, and it’s interesting to see how the weather actually take affect to gameplay. My main thought now is how is it going to hold up for assessability as Valhalla and Mirage have been killing it when it comes to disable gamers like myself. Mainly text to speech for reading all documents and dialogue selection has made gameplay so much easier

The season system is the first ever to be introduced in the gaming history. I have always wanted the open world game to do that and Ubisoft did it first.
Naoe is not Spiderman. You forgot that she is a Shinobi so it seems normal to me that she has advanced parkour skills. Ninjas and Assassins are the best combination ever in my opinion.

Idk man Origins is a hard act to follow but if they do a few tweaks like they skating movement i saw this could surpass it if everyone is being honest. I still say Unity is my favorite AC game while Origins is the best game but thats my opinion.

@@scr3verrrb70 True, in Shadows they are at least moving naturally, more or less, in previous AC games they were rather stoned, so it was less natural. It was focused on RPG features and the attention to the facial expression as well as movement in speaking cutscenes was lower. Nevertheless, they are still great games, although every game has pros and cons.

tbh bro, I"m still waiting for a scene where we can actually see parkour and movement stuff. All of the above is just basic stealth mechanic and as far as I know this game has the same movement like Valhalla and origins nothing close to unity. I'll still wait for another game and not buy this.
You are really overreacting when it comes to asssasins creed. Horse mechanics look the same a Valhalla en mostly it will be a copy/paste from the previous AC games like what we’re used to from Ubisoft. Only story, location and characters will be be different. And little tweaks in gameplay because of the different setting

Damn, this Assassin's Creed Gameplay and story reminds me too much about Tenchu Stealth Assassin's 😢 even Yasuke and Naoue standing together in the castle spire, pretty much resembles when Rikimaru used to pose alongside His shinobi friend Ayame 😅; i love this game and lore : Ubisoft deserves a 10 out of 10 from this masterpiece 👏

Yasuke should have simpler parkour and stealth, while the girl should have advanced parkour and stealth (as seen in the gameplay) which is easier and badass! I also like the track in the background for yasuke combat
