VILNIUS to TRAKAI - Lithuania 🇱🇹

Lithuania's capital, Vilnius, is known for its baroque architecture, particularly in its medieval Old Town. However, the buildings that line the partially cobblestoned streets of this district reflect a variety of styles and eras, ranging from the neoclassical Vilnius Cathedral to the Gothic St. Anne's Church. The Gate of Dawn, built in the 16th century and housing a shrine with a sacred Virgin Mary icon, once guarded an entrance to the original city.
Trakai is a town in southeastern Lithuania, west of the capital, Vilnius. Trakai Island Castle is a 14th-century fortress in the middle of Lake Galv that is part of the Trakai Historical National Park. It was once the residence of Lithuania's grand dukes, but now houses the Trakai History Museum, which houses archaeological artifacts, coins, and crafts. The stone ruins of the Trakai Peninsula Castle can be found on the lake's southern shore.
