In this video from life in Cateel, Davao Oriental, we explore a random Barangay mountain road. It was big!! But before that, we hangout with Mama Rose, learn a bit about Coconut syrup, eat delicious food, and then head into town. Speaking of town... Cateel may be a small town, but it is full of good people and good vibes!
The local motor shop boys taught me a little language, and shared a few laughs with me on this day. Love this kind of interaction!

You guys have so much of what you need... Mama Rose, your mom. She has a way of bringing out the little things in life and nurtures them to a sweet aroma. And I'm not just talking about the coconut honey here, but she blesses those around her with the more subtle essences needed in life to grow and mature. Overcoming obstacles, strong minded, yet soft hearted, demonstrating integrity, bringing balance to life, and driven by a cause. She must be God sent.
Kyle's life changed since moving to Cateel. His subscribers have grown dramatically getting close to a million, got a land and now a house. Based from comments, every subscriber like me have grown to love Mama Rose presence on videos. I hope Kyle will incorporate Mama Rose's presence on video on intermittent basis. Most Filipinos believe that, "there are friends that brings you luck and there are those that brings you misfortune". Be careful with people with negative aura, it will affect you and your surroundings. Kyle gained more subscribers since moving to Cateel. A divine hand must have brought him to Mama Rose for a reason. Mama Rose is undoubtedly very generous and kind person. She shares to viewers and subscribers her secrets in cooking and her wisdom, very motherly indeed!
Filipino shop guys are always cool... they get the job done for great prices.. you gotta break the piggy bank back home to get anything done, but here I'm always thinking no no no that's not enough cause you did a good job... here's more, you deserve it. 🤙

make sure to apply anti-termite liquid chemicals around your building, termites like to eat coco lumber and other types of wood...read the instruction carefully to get a satisfying results...apply from the foundations post, underneath concrete floors. spray all building interior floors, walls and ceilings... checked shell chemicals...Don't try to be cheap. (kuripot ) protect your project.

Mama Rose is not only a master chef but also a master saucier, super cool siya. I think what manong is building is part of the dining area. There will be a long table slightly above so that you can sit on the floor & that sunken-in part is where you can put your feet down if you don't want to sit Filipino style. The house & property is coming out so well.

She is not only a good cook, teacher, artist (painter); but also a chemist. I love you, Mama Rose. I am guessing that area in the smaller structure is a sunken living or dining area. Mama Rose is always bonus, a special guest or a special appearance❤️💕😍☺️ I love using Coconut sugar or coconut jam and I love anything with coconut like coconut bread and molasses. I always take home a big jar of coconut oil to the US made by my aunt for my hair and body, mixing it with aromatherapy oils.

The recessed floor is for horigotatsu - Japanese style dining table. If the table has hinges, or the floor has hinges, it could be a storage too.
