Omg, you're singing this song in class, right? Ito pala 'yon, I didn't know hahaha Anywaaaayyy, ang cuties talaga ng characters and the animation is sooo smooth! Sana all diba marunong hehe
This is unexpected, honestly. But I'm so glad it's unexpected because this is my favorite song and and my favorite animation meme. It's a nice surprise and I really love it. It honestly reminds me of the characters and story I created because of this meme. If it is okay, I'd love to share it in the replies. But anyway, I love everything about this video because I have a bias towards the song, the meme, and whatnot.
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've always wanted to do one of these for a while now. And please, feel free to share your characters that you created specifically for this meme because I'm interested to know more about them.
@@justacasualperson6834 Alright! Before I'll start I have to say I'm some sort of history fanatic - and I admit that history is sometimes hard to grasp for me, but I generally love learning about history. Some information here might not be accurate to actual history but hopefully it doesn't make a big impact on the story. So I'll lay down the basics. The timeline is within the timeframe after WW2 and before Cold War - more specifically 1945 to 1947 - and in Soviet-occupied Latvia. With the consequences of war came with the increasing amount of orphaned children. Thee main focus were three children: Benedykt, Calina, and Edgars. Benedykt is a happy-go-lucky child. He had fairly average height, often wore shirts bigger than his size, and messy light brown hair. His parents died in an accident while immagrating from Poland to Latvia where his aunt stayed - whom was in his care for most of his life. His aunt was physically abusive towards Benedykt to the point he was used and oblivious to the abuse, her reasoning that she didn't want the child and that he kept getting in her way. When the Soviet Union occupied Latvia in 1940, his aunt was a part of the tragedies which led to him being sent to a orphanage since he had no other family members in Latvia. There the abuse continued, but like a soldier he withstood all of it despite of his obliviousness and his deteriorating mental health. Calina is a rational child. She is taller than most children her age, usually in blue outfits, and is a brunette with chin length hair. Her father was a military officer who brought her along from Russia to Latvia for its occupation. Her father, despite being loving and caring, was a bad influence for most of her life teaching her what shouldn't be taught in a young age and constantly fed and nurtured her pride and arrogance. As she saw herself superior, she took advantage of her father's drunken state in order get what she wanted from a teacher which resulted in a freak accident and in turn she went to an orphanage to wait if any relatives were to claim her. She finally saw how horrible she was and tried to better herself that instead of using her rationality and words for selfish desires, she can use them for good - although it was not all perfect or healthy at times. Edgars was a soft-spoken tween. He is shorter than most of his age, usually wearing a hoodie with a fur hood, and has blonde short hair. He was born in a family who was surprisingly rich despite being in Latvia, with a decent influence and business. However, his family was pressured during and as a result had to act upon various unethical and shady deals in order to keep afloat. He felt the pressure and the insistance of his family to be perfect, short-sighted, and oblivious to whatever was happening, so he decided to run away and stumbled on an orphanage. Despite being shy and nihilistic, he knew how to be a good leader and was the best in keeping himself in composure. Overall, it was a bittersweet story of these orphans running away from their orphanage to find a wishing well to wish anything they wanted and to magically solve their problems. And eventually, despite their inner subconsciousness knowing, they realized that there was no wishing well and the journey was for nothing. They go back and got punished for running away. With their punishment came conflict and they all turned against each other. Edgars then kept his composure and finally absolved the conflict before it escalated further. It was then reality daunted on them and made them realize that they were the only ones who needed to solve their own problems. Their world was too messed up to be bothered. So they started a group wherein they vent all their problems with the rest of the group and discussed how to better themselves. Soon other children joined in. Ironically, the wishing well they needed was themselves - and for once they finally got a happy beginning. I truly hope this story is alright. I did not want a "communism bad" type of story because frankly it'd be too political and isn't the point of my message. Thanks for reading. :)
@@3r3_landNo problem bud. Also Dude, your story is great. I enjoyed reading through your characters backstories. Benedykt especially. I'm always a sucker for happy go lucky characters who came from tragic backgrounds and against all odds remained optimistic. Even though the poor kid's mental health is deteriorating I'm glad he's pulling through. Calina is an interesting character to me because of her backstory. Now her backstory is nothing new but I love how it's handled here. In most stories I've read of a parent being a bad influence to their child it's mostly because they want their child to grow up to be like them or the child picks up these negative traits due to the negligence of the parent, and the child thinking that if they act and behave like their parents they'll finally pay attention to them and love them. Here her father really does care for her and will do anything in his power just to make her happy because he loves her. I'm assuming her dad never disciplined her which would explain why she has her superiority complex. It's good to know that she realizes how terrible she was and is now using her talent with rationality and words for good and not for her selfish desires. I love Edgars' reasoning from running away from his home. Not because he was neglected but that he was pressured by his family to be perfect and oblivious/ignorant to the events that have been happening which is something that he doesn't approve of. I also like how despite him being soft spoken, shy and nihilistic he knows how to be a leader and take action. Usually leader type characters personalities aren't associated with being shy or soft spoken but it's nice to see a good new take on this character type and I applaud you for that. And I love the message this story has going for. That if you want your life to be better and to get rid of all your problems you have to be the one to do such. There's no wishing well that will magically make your problems go away and make your life better and the world wouldn't even bother to do anything about your woes. In the end only you can make your life better and get rid of all your problems. Your story is great and I honestly wouldn't mind if you turn this into a mini series on your channel. But that's up to you. Thanks again for sharing your story buddy. 😊 Sidenote I too am somewhat of a history fanatic.
@@justacasualperson6834 Thanks! A lot of work was put into the story as it is years the the making. Unfortunately, I doubt there'd be a mini-series since it is a bit too sensitive - of course, I do admit that I have posted sensitive content but it's just that it is based on real history with real events and people. I'd feel bad if there were inaccuracies or mischaracterizations - and frankly, I think it wouldn't transition well into Gacha in the first place. However, thanks for the compliments! I'm so glad that the story fared well outside my inner circle. I've always wanted some sort of twist in stories compared to what is supposedly the norm - like making the story take place in Soviet-occupied Latvia, Calina's father loving her, and etc. I'm very happy with your response and your thoughts so again, thank you!
The editing is really good! 🥹💜
