- Man I wanted to do this for a while now but never had the time to do so until now.
I'm still keeping MLDT a no dialogue series since that's one of the more unique aspects of the series. However every now and then play around with the idea of what the characters would sound like if they did talk in the series. So I made this video to share you all what I think these characters sound like.
Most of the lines I chose per each character voice in the video is intentional. I didn't just want them to sound like another character so I picked specific lines that i feel my characters would say. From these lines, you can get an idea of what the character's personality is.
Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas on how you think these characters should sound like. I really want to know.
I'm also really happy that my traumatized characters finally made the jump to GCL2. About time right?

Yep. With Gacha Life 2's new features I'm now able to make my characters look like how I've always wanted them to look. Especially with their proportions and body types.
Out of curiosity which ones do you prefer, the old ones or the new ones?

Ooh I like your voice claims the most out of the many videos I've watched. Not only are the voices fitting - but also the dialogues and tones do really give a hint of each character's personalities! Also are those at the end part new characters for new chapters/episodes?

Mhm. Only two of them are new characters, Russel and Ethos. Russell is the newest addition to the MLDT protagonist lineup and will have his own story arc that's separate from the other characters. His sole wish is to fly alongside the birds he sees. At first he thought it was impossible since humans are incapable of flying until he found out that at some point during the past before the second dark age, humans did fly through the use of planes. Ever since then he and some of his closest friends started a project of making a fully functioning and flying airplane.
I've always wanted to make an airplane pilot themed character in the series for a while now but couldn't because gacha club didn't have the accessories I wanted him to have such as his helmet goggles.
Ethos on the other hand is a bit complicated. Much like Russel, I've always wanted to have a wendigo or wendigo looking antagonist in the series and pretty much has the same reason as Russel as to why I didn't make him in Gacha Club. He's actually the second antagonist with a given name and the first monster in my series to be a unique individual among his species. Yog is the first named antagonist with an established character. However unlike Russel I have no idea what to do with him. Okay there are some ideas I have for him but I still couldn't decide. There's an idea I had at some point where he's the final antagonist for Philip and Georgie to face in the first season, however I want their last enemy to be more personal, especially for Philip since this said enemy will come back in the second season. Another idea is that he could be an ever looming antagonist that most of the characters had met at some point in their lives.
Anyway that's all 😊. Sorry for the long comment, just wanted share some of the ideas I have.

@@justacasualperson6834 hm.. I have an idea for the Wendigo character: I like the idea of the last antagonist of season 1 as him. Since Wendigos are said to be able to mimic voices and so - why not use Ethos to somewhat use his voice to lure or manipulate any of the brothers? Then when once they thought they'd defeated him, he was actually either escaped or had a fake loss of whatever -- then by season 2 have him come back in the middle of the plot with Georgie and Philip's story or -- have him come back at the *Falling Action* part if you ever want to make a 3rd season. But anyway that's just my idea that I thought I could share.
The idea of a pilot-related character as Russel is neat too. I honestly thought he kind of reminded me of Russel from Pixar's UP movie lol. I like to imagine the adventures and scenes where Russel and his friends would scavenge the wasteland that is Earth in their world for scraps and materials to build their plane all while avoiding the evils that coexist in their world :0
