Can you even imagine a ten year old fighting what was most likely a 20 year old man (longtail), meanwhile everyone just sat and watched? Scary what he had to do to prove himself.
god i love this. i love how this shows how immensely traumatized firestar must be and its shown so quickly in the style. firestars perspective on the clans shifts from "haha,fun adventure" to "people are dying all around me and im the only one whos suspicious enough/willing enough/destined enough to try and figure out why the second redtail's body is dropped into camp.
I never thought I'd look that deeply into Rusty's life once he joined the clan. He thought it would have been a fun journey with his friends until Ravenpaw admitted the horror he had seen and the sudden realization hits Firepaw that he was about to witness some horrible things, especially at such a young age. He also couldn't just up and leave once all this happened because he was a huge important to the clan, he was THE prophecy, so the entire clan was really relying on him even though he was just a kid. Loving this animation, really shows Firepaw/heart/star in a new light!
God this is so good I absolutely g u s h over subtle '''horror''' like this...the switch between cartoon and realism really gives it a creepy touch that I'm in love with!!
At first I was like "one of my favorite Jack Stauber songs and WC? wow this is nice!" but then at 0:57 and forward... this really hit me on another level. The combination of cartoony and realistic styles is really great and I love how things from Fire's perspective went from "haha this is fun adventure" to "holy shit cats are in danger". And for some reason that quote "keep your eyes open, fireheart"... It made my blood run cold. This video really cemented the fear and tension Fire must have gone through during the whole Tigerclaw thing (which I didn't even think about that much so it was really great to see this video from that point of view!). Amazing work, really well done! This shot straight to one of my absolute favorite WC animations!
I would of never thought of putting this type of lighting on the first few books and how it affects Firestar. This was generally disturbing to watch, and I love that. The creativity and design that went into this was just.. *chef kiss* splendid. I never really thought about how rusty was a soft kitty pet by the time Tigerstar did what he did. Sure, he could fight and stay standing, but his mind was innocent, or at least not at all prepared for the utter tramatization and pressure it was under, and you betrayed that BEAUTIFULLY. I cant wait to see more from you!!

I like how the art style has symbolism. The more cartoon-ish art style represents how Firestar tries to brush off the situation and forget it. Trying to forget his trauma. While more realistic art style represents the seriousness of what’s going on and has a lot of detail of the event. (What really happened) Both art styles are amazing and I love your symbolism. I LOVE how friendly everything was at first! It was 100% how I entered the series! Then things started happening and your art style got more realitic to fit the tone, and the way you showed how Firestar was consistently thinking about Tigerstar was amazing! The ending shot was great!

The way it goes from an innocent style to a horrific realistic gory style is just chefs kiss 👌🤌 It really displays the trauma that is implied in Firestar’s life and it is amazing. dude that's absolutelly amazing and underrated! I LOVE the use of effects as well ad the unique designs colours, and shapes, so you can easily tell apart a cat! it has completelly blown me away by how UNDERRATED you and the PMV is!
While reading books, I never had a feeling that Firestar is traumatised. He always was this brave, but kind. But I can't believe that he just forgot about what happened in the past.
Actually completely ignored thing bc it’s joked about is how paranoid Firestar is about Bramblekit like of course he is. He literally spent his first year in the Forest knowing that this tom killed someone and that his best friend may have been killed next. I know it’s stupid bc Bramblekit wasn’t his father but it was still damaging to know that shit and no one believed him and then his leader slowly spiraling because of Tigerstar and just adding onto Fireheart’s paranoia. The books always made Fireheart unjustified when he had an anxiety moment over Bramblekit but he deserved to feel that way because Tigerstar is a traumatizing thing to know for a character is is like basically 12-19

Yeah, in hindsight it's obvious Firestar had some form of PTSD from the ordeal. Of course Bramblekit would be a trigger for him. Still sucks, though.
