I enjoyed playing Pokemon Pokemon Sword/Shield DLC. But I also enjoy Trading Pokemon in Suprise Trade because I can get any Pokemon so long as they'll contain in Rare Pokeball like Level, Heavy, Love, Moon, Lure, Friend, Dream and Safari Balls because they're my favourites💖.
When I first tried the Cram-o-matic they only made some regular Pokeballs in the game and not a single rare Poké Balls were created. I was very disappointed😔 and I don't know why Game Freak would include the regular Pokeballs on to Cram-o-matic rather for rare Pokeballs only. True that the Cram-o-matic make other stuff like Dragon Scale, King's Rock and other evolution items which is great but the frustrated thing is that making the rare Poké Balls is 25% chance and a Safari ball is 1% which I think it's unfair.
To be honest I also do missed the GTS (Global Trade System) because they're a lot easier to trade than the link trade with someone who are only interest in shiny Pokemon, plus using GTS be able to show Pokemon that you want trade with and show their Pokeball so you can be able to have the rare Pokeball like Lure, Level, Love, Moon, Heavy, Safari, Friendship and Dream balls.But unfortunely It's now on this new Pokemoon game programme Pokemon Home and I don't own it as it cost alot to keep and to be honest I wouldn't know how to used it to transfer on Nintendo Switch.

Lol it’s surprising how the comments go in complete opposite directions for different videos. Some are full on hype for the game and dlc and some are hardcore on the game isn’t worth it.
I originally posted this as a reply to a comment, but I want to post it here as well. In terms of core games, Lets Go was a downright amazing gem that so few people played because admittedly the catching and leveling system were trash and it actually had more post game content than any other core Pokemon game. I mean the catching and leveling mechanics were garbage but the quality, graphics, music, story, and post game content were absolutely phenomenal. To put it a different way, I've thought about re-playing it definitely more than once and I often think back to fond memories of when I did play it and some of the really amazing things I did and I want to re-live those memories again. To further top it off there's all sorts of daily things I can do each day and I've only completed a small percent of the post-game content because much of it is really hard. One of the post-game trainers wiped out my level 85 Eevee that knew some pretty good moves. I got to meet the trainer Green (a new introduction) who I've come to adore, there's more story and I love how takes place in the future after Red, Blue, and Green are older and often more wise. The gym leaders actually progress and get a little more difficult after you beat them because they see they still have training to do, even the elite four put together a new team and get more difficult for the same reasons. The story is downright amazing for a Pokemon game, I genuinely cried actual tears in 2 moments of the game. Man I want to play that game again despite the catching and leveling mechanics being complete garbage, it shows you how much the rest of the game was amazing if I still love it and came out with fond memories. (You can even literally fly on Charizard's back and have Pokemon battles in the air or get on the back of Haunter and float around the ground)
When I played Sword & Shield though, I really enjoyed it at first and I loved some of the graphics, but I never got fond memories and I have no desire to replay it. I bought the expansion pack but I've actually had no desire to play it. It just doesn't interest me any, I've been trying to push myself to pick it up though since I did pay for it.
Point is Pokemon drawbacks are either because it's rushed or an after thought and it just had to do with getting it out the door quicker. But Game Freak does sometimes sit down and make a decent game and we get something like Lets go which is the anniversary remake of Red/Blue. Lately though the company has just been going further downhill. I agree with everything in this video.
This is a wonderful video and I agree with everything in it. I'm so sad to see the company die like this, the games never reached their full potential, I feel they were always held back and lacking.
Maybe because I haven’t played poker since black, but I really enjoyed shield! The graphics and Pokémon in the wild, mindblew me and got me addicted. I payed 50$ at Walmart and got about 40hrs in the story, but I got tired of it fast and stopped playing around April after 50hrs, I just downloaded the expansion pass and I’m at 51hrs so we’ll see if it’s worth it.
They knew their game was short.

Add an annoying rival that gives you a speech Everytime you encounter him.
I just honestly miss the old games like why can’t they just listen to us and make a remake of the actual good games like that’s what we all want and I totally agree with your point on money and I miss the old Pokémon but ty for making this video I just realized how much of a scam ig it is
Personally I enjoyed SwSh quite a bit, I liked a lot of the new mons, max raid battles were fun and gave you good stuff each time, the really good quality of life changes ect. Of course there were some things I noticed while playing I wished were fixed/changed for the better but none had a major impact on my enjoyment.
But despite all that even I still felt the game was rushed. After finishing the story the post game has basically been the same since X and Y with Battle Tower rehashes and just felt kinda empty. Then the direct happens.
I never really wanted Pokemon to have DLC but I'm not opposed to it at all, but this felt very bittersweet. On one hand the content looks good, and there's some we still don't know about yet and I'd rather have DLC for a game i already have than pay even more for a "definitive version", but having to pay extra after how bare SwSh's post game felt is nothing to appreciate. It just feels like a slap to the face. At the very least *some* of its content should have been in the base game, then this wouldn't be as much of an issue, if not at all.
This is why The Pokemon Company needs to stop being so anal about releases because *it all has to release together*, give GameFreak the time they need to make the base game more fulfilling before DLC drops. That would fix almost if not everything.
Hopefully GF, and the TPC, learn from this and won't repeat the same mistake.

Game Freak loading their asses with laxitives as they're forced to shit out the next game to keep up with the PKMN Company's merchandise / anime deadlines is exactly why they've gone to shit lately. A good Pokemon game needs a good 3-5 years in the oven. Especially something that deserves so much respect like gen 4.
Honestly for what I seen from playing the Pokemon Games and playing this one. It wasn't half bad. I believe you miss understood Hop. Yeah he is annoying piece of crap and based on some animations he does uses some od Hop's animation. But I did enjoy that he fell into depression after getting his butt kick from the Player and that other rival over and over again. He had a redeeming moments. For the most part the tutorials were also skipable. I don't know where you got that idea that it wasn't. The game itself was fine. I did enjoy it. (Personally and that's just me but I actually like playing Pokemon Shield way better than Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Maybe because it doesn't force me to buy the same Moon game twice just to get more postgame time.) As for the cut Pokemon yeah I'm pretty sad about that too. Even though Pokemon Home would probably let you have them back for free I still can't believe that it wasn't in the base game. The caves were also enjoyable for me and surprised as well. I wasn't interrupted by stupid Zubats. The Post Games was fine too. Short as hell but it was just for Hop to realized that he's never going to beat the player or be good as a trainer. Was it worth $60? Heck no, if they had the expansion pack included. Then yes for me it would but really... No. That's just unrealistic because Game Freak at the end of the day is a business and will not be able to include so much content and sell it at the original date they plan. They probably did this because money. Is that justified? Also heck no. I played at least one Pokemon game from every generation of the series, from Gameboy to Switch. But overall for me the game was... Decent. I enjoyed what I spent. But I can understand why others don't. Too much was cut. What I'm trying to get at here is that it's not that bad as people say it is. But it's definitely not good enough to be worth your $60.
I know put my show and she was terrible but it's a good thing my heart even though I haven't played it I still see that game boy is awesome so it's still good. My heart is forever in debt with it I will never regret by soaking my sword or Shield

I dont know if you are reading wario man but i am going to subscribe to you because you are a great person and more people should have watched this video I have been playing pokemon sword and shield ever since release the game has been fun but ive started to realize that everything just seems bland and really boring and i really do regret having spent my money and pre ordered the dlc because after watching this video it got me thinking "wait so they rushed up christmas to gain more sales, but they cant rush up the dlc even if were not close to christmas" so i realized then that all they have wanted is money and that the dlc will probably never be free which is just sad and made me quit the game even if i spent over 100 dollars on the game

Also before anyone says that these DLC packs are better than paying for a third version, that still doesn't mean they're not still terrible value. Pokemon SwSh feel so unfinished so them asking for $30 more is just pathetic. Anyways great vid, man!

I agree with you, I bought the game because I enjoyed the rush of playing this game. Now that I bought the game, I regretted it, it’s too short, too easy, and not enough content. Honestly this is where game freak messes up... I hope they listen to us fans and fulfill our requests.

This was my first pokemon game. I played 70 hours for the first few weeks and now it's collecting dust. I mean it's fun but it's incredibly weak compared to other rpg games (such as xc2, fe 3houses), which shows SWSH is really mediocre (even for a newcomer like me). Now I'm trying to swap shield for octopath or sth.
This upcoming expansion also isn't worth the hype it looks mundane as well :(
Apart from the return of some of the old Pokemon, there's going to more new Galar Pokemon and Galarian form too, talking about trees and hoarder ideas will there be a special tree contains Apricorns like rare Pokeball like love ball, level ball, lure ball, friendship ball, moon ball, heavy ball, safari ball and the dream ball? 👍 Because that would be awsome and we need lot more rare pokeballs rather to get some from the special rewards at the Championship rematch stadium. They're basically making you pay for the rest of the game with this, which I abide to since that makes the whole game cost $90. Not gonna fall for a cash grab.

Well, I've heard most people hate him. Unless you're being sarcastic.
@DeWarioFreak Nope. Not in the slightest. Hop has actual character development in the story, rather than just being the "funny friend rival" everyone expected him to be. He goes from this arrogant, bratty child to someone who realizes he can't just say things and think that they'll just happen. He's also pretty overshadowed by his brother Leon, and he's not very happy about the issue. Makes him feel depressed. He even talks about how Leon has put him in such a big shadow to the point that he feels like he's detrimental to Leon's popularity. Bede and Rose used that in their roastings of him, knowing that he would be discouraged after hearing it, even if he made a comeback. Also, the reason why you fight Hop so many times is because he's trying to fix his team. He goes as far as to kick Dubwool from his team, the first Pokemon he got, as well as others from his team, just to win against you at least ONCE. Of course, this never happens, so at the end of the game, when he gets the other box legend (something that no other rival has done before), he goes back to his roots and uses his old team. And loses. Again. But instead of wallowing in his sorrow, he plans to work with Sonia to become a Pokemon Professor. He's learned that he can't beat either you or Leon at what you two are good at. It's like a casual learning that they will never beat a pro player in Smash due to their lack of knowledge in technical skills. So they just try another game. For all of this, he's my favorite rival. He has *development,* not sass and a garbage, overused attitude. Best rival.
Haven't played the games yet, but I'll take your word on him. Although regardless of development or anything, I have heard people say he does a lot of text and does bother you a lot in early to mid game.
@DeWarioFreak My take on why some peeps don't like Hop is because they just want to play the game and don't care about the story/dialouge, or they've heard about how bad the story is, and then deem Hop as a part of that problem, even though thats far from the case. Not saying he's perfect, he has flaws, but he's definetly a great take on a friendly rival.

I would have enjoyed a Pokémon Gun version or something when the last expansion releases in Fall 2020 or whatever. All this content in that game. I could sell my current games after putting all my good stuff in the cloud, and save some money. Now that it is DLC I have to keep the current games for the expansion. I am just annoyed and probably only going to pay for one game’s expansion vs my double game usual. 120+60 vs 80+40-25ish for my usual game plan since Gen6 when I came back to the franchise.
I'm am going crazy when I look at the expansion pass. I find it stupid and a ridiculous price for the game and the expansion😠 I use to love Nintendo but they just disappointing me at this time. I agree with everything in this video. No matter how you paint it, Pokemon is more concerned about money than making quality products. This problem actually goes back several years, but recently it's been the most obvious. I love Pokemon, but I'm not gonna give my money to bland games that offer almost nothing without paying more.
It's funny, recently I've been playing a game called Jedi Fallen Order, which is published by EA. It's an awesome title with good story, graphics, music, and gameplay, and here's the real kicker: it has no DLC at all. You get the entire awesome game in one package. Suddenly game freak is looking a lot worse in comparison to this.
I hope for the best from Pokemon in the future, but for now I just can't justify giving them more money for stuff that's only half the quality of other developers.
EDIT: In the months since I posted this comment Jedi Fallen Order got tons of free content updates. They added photo mode, tons of new customization options, and even a mode to make your own challenge maps. Again, all of this was free. This just goes to show when a company actually cares about the product and believes in it, it will sell well and give players value for their money.
Honestly if they are concerned with money I really think if they really put in the work and made the game better than what it is now the would still get sales maybe even more sales than I mean come on it’s Pokémon if they did this correctly they would do so much better they are losing people I feel like. Sorry that it’s late I just feel like I agree with you and this video! :)

Most of the stuff you are saying is really true, but the graphics aren’t that bad. You got to give this game a bit of credit I get it there are some flaws and I can’t deny that they might be trying to scam us, but it’s not a bad company. They been trying there hardest to provide good content and I get it it’s not what we want but it’s all they can do right now, again I’m not trying to start anything just agree to disagree.

to be honest now a days all games have pay to get content. i also try to level up as many pokemon as i can before finishing the game i try not to finish the game so quickly this is even for the ds version o dont just stay content with 6 high level pokemon if i can at least a full box of high level pokemon then ill finish game. i honestly enjoyed sword and shield i guess now a days people are so out spoken on spending money. Companies now are all about making money and honestly maybe the reason there coming out with the dlc is not only to make the game better but what if there doing it to invest on a remake of diamond and pearl but with a lot more content that might require a high amounts pf money to create. Gave a like and subscribe because I hate sad days for great games. We have to push back by not spending our money. And if that means not enjoying one game, hopefully the lesson will be learned somewhere along the line. Our only way to fight this is not spend. Developers will be pushing back at us in the meantime and ruining more and more great games..

I don't get why people done like it. it has awesome graphics. I did just beat the story line but it was cool. And you can still explore the rest of the region. I love changing my look and outfit when I get to new towns.

I agree with everything but everyone's strong urge to remake old games. i want the company and franchise to move forward not backwards. A new game with all the previous mons plus the ones from the current generation, with all regions explore-able thus far. With the addition of better graphics and animations that actually utilize the Switches potential. No more hand holding clingy charters like hop More immersion, a journey felt controlled by YOU, not like your being dragged along side someone elses bullshit problems. Add more content and make the game challenging. A good example of this was Pokemon Colosseum, which was pretty difficult, had a very long story from what i remember and sadly had more animations and size accuracy than the current game today. Which is funny because it was made by game freak. So much can be done with pokemon and with the era of tech we have now, there is no excuse but for the best. Lazy scripting, lazy designing and all out greed had turned this into what it is. Im still going to play S/S plus the pass BECAUSE I want to enjoy pokemon, not because i love giving them money. And if i have to pay to get what i want so be it. I dont like it but what option do we really have at this point?

This game is quite rushed to be fully honest! I had a female linnone, it evolved and became a male obstagoon! WTF!?!? What’s worst is the “endgame” is the BATTLE TOWER, are you serious Nintendo? Like what are you doing?!?!

As a player who bought it because I thought it was cool, my grandma bought for a gift and she is not really high in money, this game is not bad but lacks a bunch, super short finished in only 2 days don't have much do do, so the expansion pass should be free for the lack of "game" this game has.

Them focusing on SWSH for now is giving them more time to work on the DP remakes and make them something special instead of being what SWSH was at launch

2 things.
1. We should never have to pay for them to fix a lackluster title. You yourself are admitting they're having to fix it right now. If they had actually put in effort from the beginning and the games we got were complete, they could be beginning work on GOOD DP remakes right now. On top of that, if they were willing to publish Sword and Shield in the incomplete and half-ass form they were, what's to stop them from doing it again (if not worse) than with DP remakes?
2. Time spent on the DLC is time clearly taken away from the DP remakes. It's obvious Game Freak's resources are limited if they had to publish a game so rushed like Sword and Shield, so this DLC is definitely taking away manpower from work on DP remakes. The best thing truly would have been to give us absolutely nothing this year EXCEPT an announcement, and dedicated 100% of 2020 to work on DP remakes for 2021. Clearly, they're not taking this route, so of course I'm voicing my opinion and calling them out.
@@DeWarioFreak Ok then. But right now, it seems like they are polishing Sword and Shield. So we might have to wait till 2022, so they actually make a good game. That might be when they remake the games. I have to say, there's nothing wrong with voicing your opinions, as long as you're respectful. They are taking this route, so we might have to wait now for 2022. I hope they at least make sure that the games are great and polished, and they should take their time.
I wouldn't say they're "polishing" Sword and Shield right now. Being generous I'd say they're "finishing" them. And that still doesn't mean it's a good game objectively due to it's other flaws which I mentioned in this video. All we can do is HOPE they do good on the DP remakes, but there's no signs they're gonna take their time with them, let alone make them decent, so I'm voicing my opinion on it.
