2009 just after he won the Olympics, he was untouchable, playing for fun but crushing world class players. Similar thing in 2013, still feeling the benefits of his Olympic training and his win, just dancing around the court, only Chen Long and LCW able to challenge him
Lin Dan was truly unbeatable in 2013... watching this video shows the aura he had - he had a level no other had and you can sense he was holding back. He will always be remembered as a legend and the best player of his time.

Lol, in 2013 lin dan is resting from badminton. He only playing in WC, he got wild card.
I’ve never seen any players play with such fast pace. His games are exciting to watch. Momota is good but he doesn’t have those explosive moment like Lin Dan.

I miss the past days when each player had their own style like Lin with those crazy fast games, Taufik with legendary backhand shots, Peter Gade with insane trickshots, Lee with relentless defense!

Ho-yin Tang I think Lin Dan will play and try get his 3rd LinDan can still play top. He’ll be a different player.

and i tell u i never witness higher quality of play when it come to lindan against lcw..
lidan vs taufik should the best but it is just sad how thei never met in both prime state.., taufik regress so much when lindan peak and lindan was green when young taufik at his most beast state..
that say,, i dont think we will have LINDAN quality of play in near future..
