What’s beautiful to me is that most of these talented loopers are equally gifted and are coming up with so many unique sounds, however Saro has a structural understanding in music making that distinguishes him from the rest of them. He doesn’t waste space and time, he feeds into the audience’s sense of expectation and suspense therefore drawing them in. It’s very much scientific.
Saro’s first song doesnt even sound like beatbox... he’s brought it to the point of straight up EDM

Inkie has a cool sound, but I think he loses because he isn't appealing to the rave going on. The crowd wants cool sounds, but they want something they can dance too, or they want some seriously heavy bass... like Saro's last song, holy cow.
Inkie used his best routines for the other battles. He was out of good ones. The last one wasn't bad but he is capable of way better

Man, see the hole championship from Inkie. First I saw this video, I thought it was a bad attitude, but when I saw BreZ Vs Inkie and Inkie Vs Blu Lipy (aka Thorsen), I changed my mind. After ALL the end of battle's second rounds, Inkie IS THE FIRST ONE to go to his opponents and greet them/hug them. Including, in this final. This final, is the first battle in the Championship I saw him saying things against the opponent and they're not so offensive or disrespectful (seriously.. U should see the other battles...). I think Inkie stood kinda nervous about Saro's favoristism and crowd partiality. He just tried to reduce Saro's spotlight.

I think Inkie wanted to much in the second round and messed it up a little bit. Some parts did not sound great, but technically it was on a very high level...maybe bit to high. Saro instead delivered a perfect performance.
These are by far the hardest drops I've heard in a loopstation battle at 8:01 and 9:01. Yes, even better than Saro vs MB14 2017.

INKIE, bro, I gotta give you a huge credit regardless of you not winning the competition. You revolutionized the game and brought looping to a whole new level.
I personally don't understand why people keep arguing the BPM on your second round were way to low. They're on point in my opinion. You expressed your own pace, the rythm at which your heart beats, and that's fucking amazing. People these days are a lot into 4/4-tempo drops with BPMs over 120, and that's ok, but they gotta understand that Music moves between the standard and the extraordinary. Music can't be encapsuled into a single pace forever. Music flows. I'm a lot into dark music and believe me I could understand what you did there. Keep up that hard work.
You spoke my mind , people should look beyond just drops and actually see the dark stuff is fun and moreover, it was unique and beyond its times. Such a pitty , that people cant see Inkie's effort to bring something new out there and create more room for some good dark structural flow.

I have big respect for both Saro and Inkie, but there is something about Inkie that feeds my darkest edm hunger that the other guys just dont.
