I love that you can totally see the fact that it was improv-ed in Jared's face. Like if it was scripted Sam probably would've rolled his eyes or something, but cause he wasn't expecting it Jared poked through a little bit with that smile XD

I believe that part might actually be another Good Omens reference! A similar bit of dialogue appears towards the end of the book when the Metatron shows up alongside Beelzebub at Tadfield Airbase when both sides are getting ready for Armageddon. I think it was one of the Them who mistook Metatron for Megatron and was corrected on it. (I say "another", ofc, because of Crowley himself being a reference.)

It's because both Dean and Jensen love that car so when Jared said it, Jensen spoke the truth because it's what Dean would say

Okay but, everytime I see that part of Cas just casually offering to watch over Dean as he's probably done before, while Dean was a child, long before he was aware of Cas' existence.. That really gets to me 'cause I always remember when Mary said angels were watching over him... And it's such a cliché for people to have THEIR angel watching over them and Dean actually has his there... And while, for Dean it is kinda creepy, for Cas it is such a common thing to offer as if it's his nature as an angel to protect God's creation, who also happens to be the human he was assigned to save... It just seems to me really wholesome, not even in a shippy way, but just.. He genuinely cares for Dean that much it makes me glitch😭💖💖

The whole murder spiel about the Impala was completely inprovised. Jared tried to continue the scene and then just went along with Jensen's genius inprovisation.
