Just finished with my Formic Pro treatment, and was relieved to see your video that the queen survived your Formic Pro treatment. I would like to a video to see what you do for spring maintenance on a over-winterized hive. Or maybe doing a set of videos with experimenting on going to single deep hives.
I would like to see more about ventilation over winter and wrapping hives. My bees were good until March and 💥 dead within a week and a half 😬 as always thank you for your knowledge 🙏
Mine too, double deeps (one hive died out completely by end of March AFTER starting to make cleansing flights, the other dwindled to nearly nothing in April), and it wasn't for lack of honey stores... here (Eastern Ontario) we're guessing the weather was just so wonky they just didn't spool up soon enough to sustain themselves, also may have had moisture issues as all the dead bees in the bottom were going moldy (and yes we were clearing the entrances all winter). They had kind of a high mite load by the time we got the honey supers off but couldn't find any after treatment...
Great video David. That's a very interesting hive. I would like to see a video on how you store your honey supers from your hives over winter, and wrapping your hives or leave them unwrapped.
I am getting ready to treat my 2 hives this weekend. It finally cooled down here in Kentucky, so glad you do these videos for us newbies. I love that hive it looks like it would be great in all weather. Thank you for all you do
We appreciate the sharing inspection re: FormicPro. Also like to say thank for your recent participation at the North Carolina Beekeepers Association Summer conference in Hickory, NC! We enjoyed your workshops! I’d like to gain further education about the late summer swarm that occasionally occurs. There are so many thoughts about how to deal with the usually small swarm; do you keep it and try to get it winter ready, leave it be and it will flee, watch for Queen strength and/or lack of being strong. This scenario just happened to us here in Hickory, NC. The Queen appeared to be maybe an old Queen as she never did anything to propagate the colony. A video about this kind of event would be beneficial to all. Thanks again David!
Hi David👋 Thank you sooo very much for this video just so timely! I have been researching and researching every treatment for two weeks. This is our first year as bee keepers and i just dont want to do it though i know i have to! Formic Pro was at the front of my mind and you helped me alot. We are out of the historic awful heatwave here in New Jersey but i think we may have a few days near or in the 90’s beginning Thursday and we do not yet have our formic pro. We began with our Nuc in later June and boy did it grow exponentially WOW!! They were treated just before hand. No i have not tested yet i am as we speak cutting strong fly sticky strips to put on my bottom board. I know i know. I will do a sugar shake too. I just cant do alcohol. Oh i am viewing the hive right now and it’s beautiful!! We have had our girls under a very large umbrella. Others have commented that between the ground cover and umbrella our bees look like they are on vacation at the islands! Lol. I say far from it these poor girls are enduring harsh temps and still working very hard. I am going to wait for this weenkend to pass and feed the girls well. I do have two questions if anyone reading this may know. I keep trying to make sugar water jars for Our in hive feeder. I have been in and out of the hospital with a mess of issues that may be autoimmune related and am homebound currently. One recent development looks like a rheumatoid artritis hence my right hand is not good. Does anyone know where i can possibly buy already made jar lids with or/w the jars? Does anyone make them or could make me a couple of lids with the correct size holes? I have been giving the girls home made pollen patties ( just enough to comesume in one day each time) i also gave some fondant. Is it ok to give fondant occasionally during these hot dry times? They do not melt in the hive. I want them ( feel so bad) to be healthy as can be going into the formic pro treatment! I did read to expect to lose about the same number of bees that would naturally die in a day to the formic pro treatment. I watched a video and in it they found dead bees i do not know how many alot or a little but just that there were dead bees. I noticed the hive is in full sun. I would love to watch a video full of bee keepers mistakes so i dont have to feel so ugh dumb🤦♀️😂David, have you any videos from your beginning years at bee keeping? Would so much like to see the early years! Thank you again so much for your videos and your wealth of knowledge… i know so many of us would be lost without you!❤️
Thanks David. Your statements about bee aggression in the late Summer vs Spring was great. Helped me make sense of why my bees aren’t nearly as “sweet” as they were back when I installed them in March. I’d like to see more videos of the changes beekeepers should anticipate as the beekeeping season changes.
Im a first year bee keeper in Louisiana. I would like to see a video on what to do to your hive after you extract the honey. As far removing supers ,frame care etc. I enjoy your videos Thanks
Hi!!!! I love your videos but here are some of the my ideas about more videos: 1.video on the difference between Italian and Carnolian bees ( behavior, productivity....) . 2.Video what to feed bees if you want them to build a comb, what to feed them to enlarge population...... like receipt book :-) 3. Video how to store and protect your extra equipment. 4. Video on what plants/trees bees likes (include pictures) and what plants will give you more honey productions. Also where you can find information when plants/trees are blooming in your area. I have more ideas but for now this is my top 4 🙂
Thanks David I really enjoyed your videos. I live in central Wisconsin. I would like to see more on dearth and when to start feeding. Knowing that there is a pollen flow coming. This is my first year of bees. Thank you for your time.
I am a newby beekeeper and really enjoy your videos. I have not had time to checkout to see all of your videos, but need to know more about gathering propolis. I am a nurse practitioner and there is very good research on the benefits if propolis use in humans. Thanks so much for doing these RUclips videos for people like me who are mostly just interested in saving the bees in a hostile environment.
I’m so new to bee keeping that I don’t have a hive yet. Getting my knowledge base now. I have ordered a package for April delivery. Plan on getting my hive next month. Love the look of the one being given away.
Gosh, a subject for a future video... Shortly after I started with bees several years ago, I found you & binge watched your channel. I continue to learn from your incredible experience and knowledge, and I can't imagine there's any subject you haven't covered! Something I've been trying to decide and maybe a video would help with: locating my hives. I live out in the country surrounded by soy and corn fields. I placed my 8 hives several hundred feet apart along the unoccupied side of my property in the hopes that the micro environmental changes from one location to the next would help the hives. They all have a bit of shade in the summer, the creek for water when we have drought conditions, natural wind breaks for the winter, and a diverse variety of flowering plants to keep them in pollen and nectar nearly year round. A derth is hard to find here, bcs I'm able to leave the wild plants alone like a prairie for the bees, being out of town limits, and I have purposefully planted to cover the seasons. My thought was that I didn't know how my property was effected by micro-climates before placing my bees, and I didn't want my ignorance to cause then harm. I hoped that when the winter or summer was harsh, that the protection offered by one micro climate or another could keep a hive alive over the micro environments where others are placed, rather than find I had placed them all in an unknowingly horrid location. I did this early, early on before I knew any better? I wonder sometimes if I should move and place them all close together in one smaller area as I see RUclipsrs do. All of this to say, my idea for a new video is: If I should move my established hives to all be closer together, why, when, and how are the best way(s) to do that to prevent robbing, lost bees, stressed colonies, etc.? (Is there a benefit for the bees or is it only for the convenience of the beekeeper?) Thanks!
Thanks for the fab video! Your perseverance in looking for eggs & larvae is greatly appreciated 😃. You’re such a generous and entertaining resource for new beekeepers like me.
I would really appreciate a video on different scenarios that you've encountered after a hive/colony has swarmed. How to recover. What to watch out for in the months to come/follow. General guidelines for number of frames of brood vs honey/nectar. I'm a new beekeeper (in central NY) and am always watching for any new video you drop. I think our climates are similar. I run 2 deeps going into winter like you do. Thanks for being "you", and for sharing your vast knowledge with us!! 😊
Constantly having conversations about location and direction of hives. For instance, place them in lots of sun, some sun some shade, or place hives where ever and the bees will manage? Love the channel.
I'm new to Bee Keeping. In fact I won't get my first colony until Feb. or March 2023. It can get down to -30 for several days at a time here. A video about cold temps and Making sure your Bees don't get too cold. And Thanks David for making things understandable.
Love that hive. Dave, I have a problem with larva cells busting open between the top and bottom super when doing my inspections. This makes the hive angry and not sure how to stop it. Could you please do a video explaining why this happens?
I love the comparison videos! I'd like to see a video on splits - when to make them, how to determine it's time, positives and negatives of letting the 'new' split raise its own queen, etc. Thanks for everything you do!
First year beekeeper in Tennesse here. I’d love to see a video on combining two colonies into a 10 frame deep with a divider between the two colonies. I’ve heard that you can add supers on top with a queen excluder and the bees will work together in putting food away in the supers without fighting. I’ve heard it’s been done, but haven’t seen it myself and would like to know the outcome as it is something I would like to try myself. You’re videos have been very educational in my beekeeping journey and I always enjoy watching them. Keep up the good work.
being a first year beekeeper I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I've not watched them all so if I suggest something you have already covered I apologize. I live in the south and the fall is coming so I'd like to see what I need to do for my hives thru the winter in the south.
Love this, as I JUST PUT Formic Pro on my hive....very robust.... hoping for similar results after treatment. Thanks for the timely video, David, and for the Queen - Dance celebration! 🙂
Interesting hive! Thank you for the opportunity. I would love to see more videos on queen rearing, both grafting and keeping nucs for the purposes of having extra queens around. I wish I had had your advice 11 years ago when I started beekeeping. I was surrounded by very opinionated beekeepers who felt their way was the only way and almost always they contradicted each other. Made for a confusing start but I have gained confidence and am always experimenting and love learning more about my bees every season. Thank you for your encouragement and straight forward advice.
Thanks for sharing this with us, I had no idea on the difference in Springtime vs August inspections. Could you give us some more information on winterizing? Southern states vs Northern states.
I love your channel, and excellent advice. The thing that I am most curious about is, what are the temperature differences between the brood chamber, and the super chamber, on average, if you know, and why is this so important? I’ve installed a temperature and hygrometer monitoring device inside my Lyson hive, and I keep track of the bees with Bluetooth monitoring on my phone, in part to alert me of a sudden change, if anything abnormal arises. Thank you again for your wonderful knowledge base, which is invaluable to all new beekeepers and experienced, alike. You are my favorite beekeeping channel on RUclips.
Wonderful information regarding August behavior David. I've noticed my hive is a little more excitable when doing my hive check and assumed it was due to them protecting their honey stores at this time of year. Great to hear I was on point!! Always great information and I really enjoy your videos!! I've heard Anel hives are great! Looking forward to your next video. 👍
Thanks David! My brother has 3 hives. It's his first year. He got me hooked on watching your videos. I love learning about the bees. If I won that hive I would give it to him He just went to a bee conference in NC.
Used MAQS last season between summer flow and goldenrod, along with OAV in November and had 100% over wintered success with this formula. Moved to Formic Pro this summer. Can't wait to get into the hives.
Awesome giveaway, someone is gonna be super happy with that hive! David id like to see you make a video on the best way to store drawn comb. More so drawn honey supers between the spring and fall flows. Thanks man! Great video as always
I live in the mountains of west Virginia. I would love a walk thru of your hives prepared for winter top to bottom. I am addicted to your videos! Keep up the awesome work!
I’m a subscriber and I took your online bee course! I sure recommend your classes to all the new beeks I meet! I have such a problem with robbing in the fall. It’s so bad sometimes I don’t want to pull my supers! Each year it is a different pest from bald faced wasps, to yellow jacket! Also I would like to know more about the dynamics of moving bees on your own property without loosing foragers to the old location. How do they even know you moved them when they are inside the hive? How do they know to orientate and figure out they are somewhere new without loosing all the foragers? The same question with a fake swarm. I would think the act of swarming in and of itself would be the only way an old queen and 1/2 of the colony would feel like the did the actual swarming. Moving them to a box doesn’t give them that experience. Why would the queen and other bees stay in the new box at all? They don’t know they are all set to start over or do they? Thanks for all you do! I can’t tell you enough how much we appreciate your knowledge and experiences.
David, we love your videos! We are second year beekeepers and really need information on record keeping. This year, we had issues when harvesting honey. We had a ton of frames full on one side of the frame and brood on the other. I did not use an excluder hoping they would fill the super which keeps the queen out. I guess next year I will use the excluder. Thank you for all you do.
Hi David. Just put in my Formic Pro on my hives yesterday as the weather in Pa is suppose to be below 90 for the next ten days so your video was spot on relevant for me. I would like a video over the winter re splitting hives in April. Two of my four hives swarmed this year and really depleted my honey out put. Thanks for your information on bees. My 5th year with bees and always learn something.
Often heard FP causes queen/brood issues. Pretty cool seeing your results. Your videos have helped many times. Things are a little different here in hot SC but fundamentally need the same things
Thanks for another great video. I wouldn’t mind seeing a discussion of an annual beekeeping calendar. It would obviously have to be adjusted for your actual location, but items like: best times to mite treat, watch for swarming, expected nectar flow, when to add supers, etc. Meant to be “big picture” skeleton that would then be modified by the individual beekeeper.
All I use in my apirary are Anel hives... They also have a 10 year warranty ....I love that they lock together since we have hurricanes, and I dont need to worry about strapping them together...
Just used Formic Pro this week on a hive that higher mite count than I was expecting. They are my aggressive hive - so if queen dies I’m not gonna cry too much. I have a queen in order from local beekeeper just in case it need one this year. The Anel hive was very interesting! Love seeing new equipment like that. This is my 2nd year of beekeeping - 1st year for having a honey harvest. What about a video of options for storing frames over the winter safely. I bought a Hive Butler but little expensive to have a bunch of them for backyard beekeeper - also video about how to weigh your hives to know if they have enough resources for winter. Thanks for all your great content.
Great video on formic pro. I would love to see a series of videos of you trying ALL the mite treatments on different hives. You can talk the pro and cons of each etc.
Would love to see more on wax moth control, I know everyone says keep colonies strong, but that's not always an option. I also need tips on hive storage ideas when not in use, wax moth are tough on me here in South Carolina!
David, Always enjoy watching! I love the energy you bring to every video! I would like to see a video on how to recover a hive that has moved into a tree knot/hole. Thank you for all that you do for the community.
I would like to see a video about what time of year you combine your smaller hives or nucs to help your hives make it through winter. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. I am a new bee keeper and I have never seen a video about this: When it’s time to harvest Honey next year what system or processes do you have to make sure you aren’t harvesting the sugar water honey from the sugar water you feed them in the fall? Thanks. Love all the videos. I’ve been watching for a little over a year or so.
What a beautiful hive. We have been following you for about 3 years and took some of your classes. I'd love to see more videos on overwintering and types of quilt boxes. I really enjoy your monthly tips. Ps this is our first year using formic pro.
Loved the Formic pro follow up, as a new beekeeper this year, I am testing my 2 colonies today. I would love to see tips and tricks on getting my bees ready for winter here in the north east, NY state specifically. Winning this hive would be very helpful as I continue to grow as a new beekeeper. My wife and I watch your videos every week. Your instruction is super helpful, I can’t imaging doing this without you! Thank you for all your videos and everything that you do!
We are new to bee keeping and we love it!! We could really use that beautiful hive that you are giving away. Thank you for ALL OF YOUR TUTORIALS. Thay are greatly used by us.
Hey Dave, this was a real encouragement about Formic Pro and its safety for my bees, love my bees. I think a hive like this one you are giving away would really work great here in southwest Oregon. We've been in the 90s and hundreds for weeks now and the extra insulation would keep my little bees a little cooler and warmer in the winter. Send me that hive and I'll try it out here. Thanks again, Dave.
Helped my parents with inspecting and repairing their oldest hive 2 weeks ago in Missouri and will be considering drawing off a little of the extra honey on my oldest hive next week in Indiana. They had beautiful drawn out brood frames & 30 pints of excess honey between their different colonies. That's 30 pints, while being very careful to only take a small portion of extra honey away from the girls before fall! I'm hoping to see similar excess stores in mine. Exciting to see 3 state's bee keepers in a row all doing well.
Thanks for another great video! I deal with excessive moisture in the hive, especially during our mild winters. I'd love to see a video about dealing with hive humidity and/or mildew when growing a small hive. Thanks for all your help!
Hi David, I have an idea for a video... as urban and suburban beekeeping becomes more and more popular, I think it would be neat to see more of these setups. If you could do an interview (even virtually) with other beekeepers in these environments, this would give potential newcomers an idea of what to expect. Most of the youtube beekeeping community is rural and I think that leaves a lot questions for potential urbanite/suburbanite beekeepers who may be wondering about hive placement, swarm control, dealing with neighbors, navigating local ordinances, etc. Seeing how others have been successful in these conditions would give these folks a leg up!
I'd like to see a video with more information regarding queen marking. I have seen videos where some swear by it, and others are emphatically against it however, no one ever says why. As an aspiring beekeeper I'm interested to know the details regarding queen marking, and why there some are for it and others against. Thanks for the opportunity to win. If I do win, this would be my very first hive. I have been reading books and watching videos for over a year, and this would be a very cool way to get started! I love your explanations of things, and look forward to learning more! 🐝
Wow! That hive is so cool! I would absolutely love to try one of those yellow plastic hives in one of my apiaries. Just beautiful. Thank you for the Formic Pro talk. I just used Formic Pro in two of my colonies exceeding threshold levels only 20 days ago. These were big colonies, minimum of 7 frames of brood and more workers than I can count! I'm shocked! Today I did an alcohol wash on both of those colonies and I had zero mites in one colony and only 1 mite in the other. The great thing is, both queens are alive and well and laying very well. I've never seen anything like this! I haven used Formic acid since 2015 (mite away quick strips) with major losses. I'm very happy with the results. Would you be kind enough to to show us how to wire wax foundation. I'd also love to hear a discussion about honey bee communication, via foundation and also the accumulations of chemicals like Cumafos and Fluvalonate in wax. Maybe talk about a comparison between wax foundation and plastic. Which do you think is better and why? Thanks David. Great learning experience.
Hey David! Great videos as always, been watching you since I started beekeeping for the first time this year, and you've helped me answer all of my questions! But anyways, I'd love to see you create a video or series on how to care for a queenless hive, like a weekly video to see the progression of the said hive, to see what it naturally does. Thanks for all the great info on honey bees!
That is a really interesting plastic hive. It would be fun to try it. I left a thin piece of insulation under my top covers this summer and I think it has kept the hives cooler. Thanks for showing it, and for giving us a chance to win it. Your videos are always interesting and informative.
New beek this year and boy am I so happy to have found your channel…so much helpful content! I would love to see a video of how you get your bees out of the super before extracting honey frames.
I don’t think I can watch enough videos on finding the queen… very helpful. I’d like to see another discussion about finding queens in DOUBLE brood chambers. ThHANKS!
The Anel hive looks very tempting! I enjoyed hearing about how winter bees are different than their warm-weather hive mates. Can you make a video explaining a bit more about the differences between types of bees and how they help the hive? Thanks for all of your help - you prevented me from having a heart attack waiting to be queenright again.
I love your videos! It would be helpful to see a video on the best kind of bee suit and how to get the correct size. I am having a terrible time finding one that fits me!
I love the videos you do showing if it's worth it or not. I would like to see a video on comparing basic honey extractors and/or equipment used such as strainers, buckets etc. I have learned a lot of your videos.
Question: I am planning my first hive next spring. What do I need to do before setting my first hive? Physical location, types of flowers, clover, and any special prep before hand? (Also planning on classes beforehand) Love your videos and already learning a lot!
Mornin David..Love your channel..I'm in NC..and close to Midnight bee supply .. used to be a member of Calvins club..but moved. I would like to see more vids on catching swarms and what to do after they are caught.. I caught a swarm in late spring and trying to help get them through the upcomming winter months..we have fairly mild winters not sure if I should wrap the hive or not..thank you for all your information.. I learn so much from you..
A video on bee escapes and fume boards would be interesting. I had a cheaper bee escape that came with my hive and it did not work at all. May have been my rookie status that affected my results. I made a fume board and went that method for now. A good video on evacuating bees from the supers with your experience would help us all. Also on side note. I used a drone comb in my hive based on your advice. I was very surprised at the number of mites found in the 6 cells I inspected before freezing it. I found 8 mites in 6 cells. So I had a real problem and currently in week two of my Formic treatment. Your videos on these two subjects helped me through the use of these items.
Great video as always. I was curious about fall splits. Advantages, disadvantages and the differences in your approach to fall splits compared to spring splits.Keep the great videos coming. I am always learning something new .Thanks.
Wow Dave, great talk on reason for treating for mites. I love that Anel Hive. Hope this second year beekeeper scores it. Nethertheless, I could see a video on the chemical treatment of aviary for SHB being a benefit. Love the new website and still chuckling over the "bullet-proof vest" comment. Thanks for the videos . Been a game changer for me.
Thank you so much for your videos! I look forward to each new video and am always excited to watch. I bought your class package and I loved it, so much information! I appreciate your encouragement to beekeepers…I need it at times, lol. I’d like to see a video on how deal deal with wasps!! They are so bad in the fall! Love the videos…thanks again!
Awesome hive giveaway.!!! Did you know that propolis takes the pain and swelling away from a sting. Stung in the nose and immediately added a Propolis Bandage, looked like a booger but it smelled heavenly.
Great video David! I would love to see a tutorial on how to attract bees to a hive from out of a house wall, or a hole in a tree. As in trying to save them from being terminated by a home owner. Thank you for the chance!
Often heard FP does cause queen issues. Pretty cool seeing it not cause any issues. Ty for your videos! Things are a little different here in SC but fundamentally the bees require the same things. I might try your winter bee kind this year
I’m getting ready to use formic pro on my hive! Glad to see your results. I would love a video on what to watch for In bee behavior at the hive entrance. Thank you!
Hey David, enjoying all your videos especially the monthly tips. I would like to see a series where you make a split utilizing only queen cells and follow-ups on the hive through laying and honey production.
I would like to see a videos on: the legal and state registering, building your hives (start to finish), Backyard beekeeping setups, and a suggestions on what to do with all the honey when you don't plan to sell it yourself.
I would love to see a video on how to influence your bees to fill frames with comb. I’m a second year beekeeper and noticed that that’s a bit annoying to get an established hive to fill in frames on a new super.
David great video! That yellow hive looks really interesting and it would be interesting to see it with a colony and how they progress through the year. What I would like to see a video on is Hop Guard 3 and if you can use it to control mites during the hot part of the year when formic is just not recommended.
Thanks David. First year beekeeper with only two hives. Would like to see videos about balancing colonies when one is considerably stronger than another and other options.
Very cool hive and I love to win it. I'm about to over winter my two hives for the first time and would like a video on feeding your bees going into fall. We are expecting a pretty good nectar flow here in Southwestern PA soon and I don't want my colony to become honey bound but at the same time I need to know they have plenty of stores to get through our first winter together.
Hi David I Have learned so much from all your videos and taking your classes.. I think everybody listed some really great choices for new videos. I would also like to see Information on single brood management and i would like to see information information on honey extraction from start to finish. Thank you so much for all you do you. And that Is a unique looking hive. I really like that it has the closures to snap the pieces together.
Thanks David! Love your videos. What a cool hive 🤩 I would like to see a video on common diseases - how to best identify along with treatment options. And best practices on preventative measures. We love healthy bees🐝
Love your videos. They have help me to become a better beekeeper and your coffee time gives me helpful information and thing to think about life. I would like to learn more about ventilation of each season. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge.
Thanks for the video! I am a relatively new beekeeper and would love to see a video with tips on how to avoid squishing bees during an inspection. I still feel very awkward opening the hive and digging in. I know it will get better with practice, but I think you might have some good ideas. Thanks again!
Hi David - greatly appreciate your efforts in creating high quality instructional bee content. As a new beekeeper I've learned almost everything from your videos. I'd be curious to see a future video on results you see using Apivar strips. Thx again!
Love the videos finding them very helpful as a first year bee keeper only thing I am worried about at the moment is my hives having enough stores for winter
I'd really like to see a video on how to get rid of yellow jackets from bothering & robbing our bees ESPECIALLY in August! Thanks for your great videos , you're my "go to" RUclipsr bee guy! 🐝
Love your videos! Please make a video on horizontal Langstroth hives. I don't think you have one currently since I haven't seen a video of yours on the subject. You are so creative, I think you would likely improve hive management in a long box. Next spring, I plan to put supers on top of mine, which is not typically done. It would be interesting to see a Winter-be-kind adapted to a long lang. You do this, and you will be a hero to many like me that prefer NOT lifting 5 stacked boxen to do inspections. Thank you.
Just finished with my Formic Pro treatment, and was relieved to see your video that the queen survived your Formic Pro treatment. I would like to a video to see what you do for spring maintenance on a over-winterized hive. Or maybe doing a set of videos with experimenting on going to single deep hives.
As a first year beekeeper, and using Formic pro, I appreciate your videos and guidance immensely! Thank you, Dave!
Hi David👋
Thank you sooo very much for this video just so timely!
Great to hear!
Im a first year bee keeper in Louisiana. I would like to see a video on what to do to your hive after you extract the honey. As far removing supers ,frame care etc. I enjoy your videos Thanks
I enjoy watching the inspections when queen cells or missing queens occur and you have to decide on the fly what to do.
I am glad to see you back home! I hope all of your travels went well. That is a neat hive!
Lovely to see inside your hive and finding the queen too. Surprising so many people make videos about bees and don’t show us any bees! Ha ha
Great videos! Love to see late season split video. Spotting a queen less hive. And more hive general maintenance . Thanks for beeing our mentor!!!
Thanks David! My brother has 3 hives. It's his first year. He got me hooked on watching your videos. I love learning about the bees. If I won that hive I would give it to him He just went to a bee conference in NC.
Catching Swarms, Beekeeping on a budget, mentoring new beekeepers, differences in queens. Sure appreciate your videos.
I would like to see a video on a Demaree split in the spring. Enjoy your videos.
David,
Always enjoy watching!
Love your content. I would love to learn more about queen rearing.
Great video. I am a new bee keeper and I have never seen a video about this:
When it’s time to harvest Honey next year what system or processes do you have to make sure you aren’t harvesting the sugar water honey from the sugar water you feed them in the fall?
Thanks. Love all the videos. I’ve been watching for a little over a year or so.
Great video David. I'd love to see a side by side comparison of a chemically treated hive and a natural hive over the course of a year.
Thanks David, love your videos. We have been treating the past few weeks and will be testing again to see how are counts look.
Hey David
I would love to see a video on what to do about a honey bound hive. Love your videos and have learned so much from you ! Keep them coming!
Great video incorporating formic pro into your IPM. It’d be great to see more treatment options as you prepare for making winter bees.
Thanks for showing us a new option in hive design. It looks sweet! I would like to see you do a video on more new cool bee products.
Last year I lost 2 of 6 Queens to Formic, temps were within the recommended range also. I’m so cautious using that anymore. Nice hive to giveaway. .
Love the monthly tips videos! Also looking forward to more mite treatment videos!
I really liked this follow through of the Formic-pro treatment. I have some on the way. Thanks for all the good tips.
I love watching your videos, I learn a lot! When I first got bees I was part of your Bee team six.
Thank you for all the information
Thanks David! Love your videos. What a cool hive 🤩 I would like to see a video on common diseases - how to best identify along with treatment options. And best practices on preventative measures. We love healthy bees🐝
Love all your videos. I'm a first year beekeeper and your videos are very awesome and helpful. Thank you! From Festus, MO.
Thank you.
