PRLs install video was half assed. Lol they didn't really show where anything went and skipped over sooo much. Yours was really helpful, well done sir!

Boom goes the head and clutch. Unless you know how to disassemble and upgrade your head bolts, piston heads, rods and upgrade your clutch I recommend not doing this. I hope to one day upgrade pistons, rods, bolts and clutch. The 1.5L would be a awesome machine with those upgrades.
This is true; fx400 went out with flex but I did end up also blowing the motor lol when I did that I built the motor and arp head studs and type r clutch crispy now but for an everyday driver it’s not worth dumping all that money I say this with experience lol
Great details about the PRL flex fuel kit for Si, Type R, Accord, etc. Nice upgrade performance mods on your 22' Si. New Type R is fuckin expensive to buy but crazy markup costing but Si, Sport, and Touring, Hatchback can be affordable.😁👍
first mod i did on my 11th gen also unfortunately i had to take it off because i blew a head gasket and had it warrantied out😎 not sure if that had anything to do with it but man the power it gives with a 50% mix😱 its SUPER EASY to smoke the clutch in higher gears.
I'ts the headstuds, the stock ones stretch under high boost. I blew the headgasket on my 10th gen from it now I will not start adding power to my 11th gen si til I upgrade to ARP headstuds

Good morning how are you? Thanks for those amazing videos… help us a lot 💪🏻 I have a question when you the flex fuel kit you have to buy flex fuel like assembly too ? Sorry I’m new in these Thanks 😊
Up to you, with stock fuel system I don’t think anything over E30 would give much benefit. But if you to be full bolt on with E I would probably go ahead and do the clutch.
A huge disclaimer using a flex fuel tune. You WILL eventually have 2 major failures. Head gasket and clutch. Keep in mind that these 2 repairs are extremely expensive at Dealerships. Proceed with caution.
Thanks for the video. I'm currently running the PRL flex fuel kit on my Accord. Consequently, the check engine light came on. Any ideas of what is triggering this? Thank you.
It's not optional, I just received clarification from PRL support this morning, "It requires KTuner to tune for & compensate timing for the ethanol. The 0.5V-4.5V output needs to be connected into the harness off of the radiator (ECT2) in order to do so."
Download E85 Calculator, you just put in how big your tank is, how full it is, and what your desired mix is like E30, and it’ll do all the math for you and tell how much E85 and how much 93 to mix
If you fully install this, then yes, otherwise you’ll get a CEL for the ECT2 sensor. And you need a specific flex fuel tune to make it all work so it can adjust for the different levels of ethanol
@@kylegentles2270 anything I’ve ever read has been that e85 actually had a cleaning effect. You’re right though it is corrosive but modern day fuel lines can handle it. Your fuel guage might corrode. I’ve seen that before
@@lui.racing thanks! I have a 2022’ Honda Accord Sport 2.0T and decided not to do the PRL Flex Fuel kit. The nearest E85 station is 72mi away and it’s just to much of a hassle to deal with. Opted to go with other bolt ons.
No, if you fully install the kit to include the harness that connects to the ECT2 connection, and don’t set it up right on Ktuner or don’t select flex fuel on Hondata then yes, you’ll get a code.
Yeah, so I didn’t gap my spark plugs. I said If you plan on running a high e85 mix, you should re gap your plugs, such as E50 or more. I had a friend who didn’t regap his plugs and out straight e85 in, he did a pill and his engine shut off and wouldn’t turn back on. He later said that he needed to get new spark plugs in order for his car to start
ALSO JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS IF YOU USE AN ELECTRIC TOOL MAKE SURE IT IS BRUSHLESS. IF IT ISNT BRUSHLESS THEY SPARK AND IT WILL LIGHT GAS FUMES AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT COMES FROM THAT!!!!!!
@@Candybuiltsi im sure you’re very knowledgeable. However, I speak from my own experiences and I don’t force anyone to do anything to their car. Their tuner should tell them how much E is safe for their car. I ran flex fuel on my fk8 and SI and never had any issues with either. Obviously going above E20 would be useless for stock build since their clutch wouldn’t be able to handle the added torque. Any competent tuner should be able to safely tunes someone’s car to run E20 and above, granted they have the supporting mods to do so.

Do u know where the oil pressure sensor is located .. can’t find no videos for new accord
Nice video just one thing I can't find the last plug anywhere and your o2 are mounted factory different then mine
Should be plugged in behind the radiator in the general location I showed. And lol idk what to say about the O2 sensors lol
Can this run full 85 or will you need a bigger fuel pump
How did it drive n feel after you installed the flex fuel kit
A lot more torque when running e20-e30
So I’m planning on running full e85 since I drive past 3 pumps on the way to work everyday, when does the accord fuel system require an upgrade?
Should my first mod be to upgrade the clutch so I can tune it as much as I want

Did you upload one of Hondatas e85 tune or enable Ktuners E85 feature?
Do you have to plug in the ect2 sensor or can it run fine without it? PRL vid says it’s an optional connection. But I haven’t found a clear answer

@@ivandeegr8 not sure if they have one. You could always do Hondata’s flex fuel tube or get a custom one
How long will stock injectors last with this ? I’m worried about realibility
Why would you be worried about the injectors?
E85 is corrosive it can lead to injector failure over time, anything that has metal ethanol causes corrosion over time

@@kylegentles2270 if you run too much E85, yes
