все удары коленом не правильные. вы не понимаете что из одного движения идет второе. перенос веса для правильного удара. у Frost стоящая нога , не должна сгибаться. так как это ось движения другой ноги. тока так можно сделать быстро такие размашистые удары. понимаю что есть условности и упрощения в игре . но то как делаете вы, выглядит нелепо и не слитно, да и непохоже вообще на martial art, а просто набор разных пинков.

9:37 Kani falling kick is a kyokushin karate kick. It does work but it's hella risky to pull off. People have been knocked out by this move during competitive kumite. Crazy. I know. But it works!
That move that Kano did I think he was trying to emulate was the kyokushin wheelbarrel kick.
Well, in regards to Erron Black’s drop kick…maybe he lands right on his back for it because he actually has a gatorback on underneath that cowboy outfit?
That was a famous move from hwand jang lee but he always do it with a chain kick
I think the main use for the drop low kicks like the one Sonia does is just to put someone's me out when they're already doing a sweeping high.
Of all the expert series, I love these two and I think the chefs the most!

8:00 Johnny Cage #4 Move. As a Cage Player competitively, it’s useless and unsafe. Ask any Cage Players, they hate this move trust me.
Chris Garrett what the fuck?! Wdym?! It’s an amazing move that is SUUUPER safe. It’s positive frames, but it can be ducked, so if someone sees it coming than they will probably punish you. But still, if they don’t, it’s a hell of a move. Not to mention, even if they do try to punish it, you can go into a forward 4,4 rather than forward 4,3.
At 5:22 I do not want to pisst her off if I do I'll get kick in balls or punch whichever, just seeing that from her recreating it, it feels like I did get hit there 😂😂

I like how they were able to replicate the moves without over analizing and giving us an essay on how video games have fantasy moves and is all bullshit.
This really highlights that NetherRealm needs to do a better job with animating their characters. It barely looks like martial arts. It's funny how Street Fighter 5 looks more cartoony, but actually has more correct form and technique in the animations.

Johnny’s sloppy technique actually makes sense in universe. Being an actor, he makes his moves look good on camera, even if they’re not the most efficient.
I wish the game stuck to his "Showmanship first" mentality and actually made him do Pro Wrestling moves such as a dropkick and some Lucha Libre techniques such as an huracanrana

I NEVER knew Johnny had "bad technique" because it all looks good to me! I've never been in a fight, I've only seen movies and stuff so I have no idea and he can do more kicks than I probably could! And definitely more than school fights where kids just punched back and forth with nothing else XD
I like how they broke sequences in this because I didn't even notice how much hops and extended body part attacks they put into this game. Then again considering X-Ray moves and all the blood loss these go through its most likely impossible to cover a fight like this without extreme internal bleeding + limbs getting broken. Oh well, the joys of video games.

Very true. All x ray moves and fatal blows are more than enough to kill someone in the worst ways possible. The fight is over immediately. I dont understand why a lot of RUclips channels try to do science behind Mortal Kombat. Some of the basic moves are enough to kill a person.
actually, most of these are bullshit. in a real fight, there are four simple, golden rules to follow, and these moves break all of them. but its entertaining as hell to watch, though. for the curious, i put the rules below
1. end a fight quick. be as brutal, as dirty, as mean as necessary, but end it fast. the longer it goes on, the worse it is for you
2. never let your feet leave the ground for anything other than a kick, and then only kick about knee height. otherwise, you open yourself up to nasty counters that a novice can pull off
3. never, ever strike the face with a closed fist. there are 27 fragile, moving bones in the hand. for this reason, you want a loose fist, and practice switching from a palm strike with the fingers curled, into a loose fist, into a tight fist, and back again. this allows you to strike at the head with the palm, or the body with the fist, and the opponent doesnt know whats coming
4. if your opponent hits the ground, dont let him get back up. do the boot scoot boogie on his face

Everyone forgets that a huge part of the original Mortal Kombat's success is that they used actual martial artists and moves to incorporate into the first 3 games. In MK 11 it comes full cirlce. Martial Artists imitating the computer generated sprites.

6:20 Capoerista here 👋 (still a novice kinda) not 100% sure on the first kick, but it looks like a variation of a simple martelo kick. Second kick is a cauda de arraia (stingray's tail) for Angola style of Capoeira (the style I use) or also called meia-lua de compasso (half moon compass) in Regional style. Not sure if anyone was wondering but just in case. :D

i remember in mortal kombat 2 days, pulling a muscle rather badly trying to do kung lao's in close high kick animation, a borderline vertical side kick. was pretty good at side kicks, but that was too high.

A horrible domawashi at that. Jin from tekken and jean kujo from virtua fighter is a hell much cleaner technique.
Lore wise Kano is a karate expert, so he might know some kyokushin but he kinda fights with some brutish movements (prob bc hes a bad guy)

The spinning back kick is from capoeira. It's almost a meia-lua de compasso (drawing compass half-moon).
This was good but if u do MK again, do more of the Shaolin and ninjas. The Outworlders r too out of reach so don’t worry too much. Also if u could find Grappling Martial Artists, that would be good.

I am learning mixed martial arts, and in my country we have translated or at least similar names for any hit.
Suprisingly, translated names don't sound weird.

God yeah, I agree with Gemma wholeheartedly on the "trying to do things the wrong way" thing. I practice sword fighting, learnt both WMA and kenjutsu, and then a friend asked me to do a recreation for the LotR thing where Boromir was fighting the Uruk-Hai where I play Boromir. I was like complaining the entire time "why are we just whacking each other's weapons?", "why does this swing actually hit?", "why are we so close in this shot?". Everything. Felt. Awkward.

@@Gamology Try Dying Light. The combat in it is pretty practical/realistic and isn't made to look cool per se (Although it still looks epic as hell). Of course the combat still isn't going to be 100% accurate but it's pretty true to real life
