Hell, I would be happy as a kid to see gemma and Yoshi react to bad-ass hallway scenes. Oldboy is my favourite, with Tony Jaa's stairway fight on The protector on a close second

Cant get enough of these videos! Love how goofy they are and seeing them having fun makes the videos even better :D Something that would be pretty cool would be seeing same style but from different games. Gemma often talks about clean or dirty technique so maybe some type of comparison?
they have talked about that before, forgot which episode. clean techniques are like the proper form and style taught in martial arts while dirty tech is like the martial arts you see in movies, more exaggerated and not in form.

@@Fontan_ Yes you are right, I just wanted more focus on why they do the same technique differently. For example what are the pros and cons of leaning back and touching the floor when you throw a spinning hook kick instead of standing more straight like we learned in TKD.
@@OhNoItsWednesday13 that particular comparison they actually did when reacting to Yakuza fighting styles if I remember correctly and they sad it gives more power, since you are kind of throwing more weight into a kick
Gemma would be the most hilarious person to work with. So much energy and the hilarious puns and her physical comedy.
At the same time, I pissed her off and I wake up on a hospital with a cracked skull.

ok, so they can reproduce the MK moves, now my question is, how would they dodge/counter these moves?
Probably just take a couple of steps back or to the side, generally works for every melee attack
@@nameless473 well of course, i'd include a way to counter attack, 'cus otherwise the universal way to dodge is turn around and run away.

the "head suplex" is actually a move used in pro wrestling called a DDT made famous by Jake "the snake" Roberts where he put his opponent in a side headlock and then he would fall back driving his opponents head through the mat although when Jax used it it look more like an impaler DDT which is a move that was made famous by Gangrel in the late 1990's where it a DDT but as he puts his opponent in a side headlock he lifts him up and then drops him down.

Mileena's stance is that way because of her Tarkatan/Edenian physiology. It gives her greater access to throwing and biting, and puts more power into feet and arms for lunging and agility
I love it when they explain the moves and try them.

I really want them to recreate not just heat actions, but a variations of move set from yakuza/judgment, and even from Kurohyou series like finishing hold, tiger drop etc. It would be super cool.

For the Spawn one, I agree it's a lot easier to switch to the other leg for the second knee kick. The way your body moves, when you're throwing a punch using your whole body (which you're supposed to, as it makes your punch stronger) your other arm goes back which pretty much automatically makes it ready for a second punch. That's why it's harder to punch twice with the same arm quickly while still having power behind them. When you throw a punch with your right arm, your left arm, specifically your shoulder, automatically moves back which makes following up with a punch with your left arm feel completely natural.

I think it’d be interesting to pair the er doctor with any of the martial artists. I think the artists would be able to break down the technique/application of the move and the doctor could break down what injuries are happening to both parties.
I do believe the Jax move was a DDT and not a Brainbuster Supplex or "Head Suplex" as Yoshi pointed out. But I love the fact that he knew straight away it was a Pro-Wrestling move.
