Great behind the scenes info on JW4 but also the stunt and film industry in general coming from some true professionals! Very interesting! Thank you! OOSS!
Thank you so much for watching! We're so glad to bring more light to the stunt community. Let us know in the comments what else you would love to see from us! OOSS 👊
There's no question that Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror stole the show. Scott absolutely crushed it with his role. His fight with John Wick is one of the series most memorable, despite it being fairly short in duration. I went with friends that weren't familiar with Marko, and the first thing they said when they got out was that he was the most terrifying opponent in the whole movie.
Yeah man! His fighting skills were instantly noticable in Osaka, and even after receiving multiple hits and all, he kept on coming back every time in Paris. At the arc, at the building and at the stairs. His presence was really intense, loved it😮
@@brentvannoten2509 He was like a Kung Fu Terminator! I thought for sure he'd died multiple times, but he just kept coming back! Poor Keanu looked really overmatched in their fight scenes together.
@@MatrixCobretti Indeed! I was even dissapointed when he got hit by a car at the Arc, I was like "nooo he was so cool and even a bit scary, did he just die???" But then he suddenly came back...then he got shot by John and he fell down the stairs and again I was like "nooooo did he just die because of that???" But NO he suddenly appears at the top of the stairs and kicks him down 🫨 I absolutely loved it. And he follows Wick down as he is falling and he picks him up and starts beating him up with an excited smile, like he was so f***ing focused on bringing down the great John Wick, I loved the writing and acting for his character 🫶🏻🔥
The nunchuck scene is the most realistic portrayal of using that weapon I've ever seen on cinema! Scott Adkins is amazing as Killa, and Marko is just so classy, he can be Luchist Lasso if Shaman King ever gets an adaptation!
John Wick is a franchise of appreciation! In chapter 3, they featured "The Raid" crew, and in chapter 4, they featured "Undisputed" crew. It's good to see the A tiers of Hollywood really take notes of worldwide action and care about what the audiences love.
I really hope Scott Adkins & Marko Zaror get cast in more big budget movies, in the future after the success of John Wick 4. These guys definitely deserve it, they´re way too talented and down to earth, to be wasted in low-budget DTV movies.
I think that's part of why they were offered parts in the latest John Wick given their experience and ability to perform greatly in martial arts. Scott has continued to get regular work in martial arts films as well as some big pictures (he was Jean-Claude's right-hand man in Expendables 2 and part of Mads Mikkelsen's group in Dr. Strange). It'd be great if both of them get offered decent parts in future films whilst they're still fit and healthy.
Marko & Scott seem to be really good friends & really respect the grind! Hard hitters right here & big dogs. Nothing but love & admiration seeing my heroes do big things!
Marko brought an immense energy and was so noticeably precise in all of the physical acting. I think I'd have to give him the biggest props out of anyone in the movie which is a large feat for such a loaded cast.
Scott and Marko, those amazing lads. Scott's role was awesome, good and entertaining fight and he seemed very strong even with that physique, he transmitted some dark aura that was great. Now regarding Marko, what an amazing villain, he seemed like this beastly strong character which is also an expert in martial arts and who never dies... he just keeps coming back and for a moment seems invincible. So happy for them!
Great enjoyable movie that I can proudly call a true cinematic experience. These guys definitely were a gem in the story in their own unique ways. Also kinda weird how non-threatening Marko is in IRL when in the movie he had a big towering presence.
Scott Adkins was brilliant in the movie, He stole the whole scene from beginning to the end.. What acting man.. He was the most comic and deep character in the movie..
Such a good, good video!! Fantastic input from everyone. And I must say, this is the first interview of Marko Zaror that I watch, and have so much more appreciation for him now, because every single one of his remarks is so very on point!! And loved everyone's work on the movie!!
JW4 is definitely one of the best action movies i have EVER seen. perfected by the fact that Scott Adkins was in it! So so good. Thx for the bts talk. Only makes me love it more because of the creativity and bodily sacrifice that goes into this ingenious action & drama.
(slow zoom in on John Wicks grave as his fist blasts through it and he climbs out) Bowery King: "So... the Baba Yaga is back from the dead it seems..." John: "..... yeaaah"
Nice interview. It's good to listen to Scott Adkins and Marko Zaror talk about their feelings and experience in the production of John Wick 4. especially to almost identify them with two "kids fans of action movies and martial arts" who are delighted to work with their idols. it's a little funny but it is, in my humble opinion, very honorable of them to be grateful for their chance to be part of the John wick universe.
I been following Jeremy Marinas for years from his loop kick days. To see him now what he is doing him and Anis Cheurfa and Danny graham 3 amigos. Amazing what they are doing as stuntmen and fight choreography. Amazing to see hope they have continue success
Loved Marko in "Savage Dog" with Scott, especially his use of the giant Cold Steel XL Espada folder. I really hope we see a Renaissance in old school, big screen worthy action films that are designed to entertain.
I still remember watching jeremys tricking tutorials now he works with one of my favourite actors... So happy for him because of Jeremy I learned alot of XMA moves.
Awesome interview. These stories behind the scenes make me respect stuntman ever more and the amazing stunt work in JW4. Keanu and all the characters are just crazy good. Some people said the actions were repetitive and the first half was just okay. I disagree. The movie is excellent from start to end. I wish they put the uncut version (3 1/2 hours) in 4k blu ray disc.
Congrats guys, the action and stunts in JW4 were something special, things not sure I’ve seen before in the stunts and way they were shot and performed. Great piece of work all round, respect!!
I love that they had the opening fight with Sammo Hung in ETD in mind for Scott's character in JW4! Man I can't wait to buy this on 4k later this year!
its amazing to see these men get recognition, amazing movie series, really hope when its said and done these men maybe get a spinoff series of the hightable.
It's just amazing interviews. As an African martial arts actor and filmmaker from Cameroon. I have learned a lot from experience from these legendary action martial arts stars and filmmakers. Great job. Waiting that John Wick 4 coming to Cameroon to watch. I have seen the 3 others..Great inspiration. Keep up the good work guys 🎉🎉🎉
This conversation between you guys was so cool I’m jealous!! I wanted to be in John wick damn lol anyway you guys smashed it. Everyone who worked on this movie took it to the next level! Well done guys well done. The movie is absolutely insane and yes one of the best action movies ever made.
It was a good movie I watched it with my Wife & Brother in-law when we visited Cebu in the Philippines it was our first trip back since covid. My Brother in-law lives in Auz so it was first movie we’ve watched together in years it was great to watch together
The director has made a lot. I mean, the scenes of JW4 was really art. He combined the ambient of "Katana Zero" and "Hotline Miami". Also, I met Marko Zaror since the movie "Kiltro" and he's amazing. Scott Adkins was incredible since his role as Boyka. I suscribe to OOSS. Thanks for call them to this interview!
Learned a nunchuck form and some drills when I was younger (and stupider), can confirm got many bruises and even managed to smack myself in the groin on one occasion.
"We've had: Eddie Murphy - Nutty Professor Mike Myers - Fat Bastard Robin Williams - Mrs. Doubtfire-[rip] & Scot Adkins - Killa" don't forget... ...Colin Farrell - The Penguin
Actually the greatest part about Scott's "Killa" wasn't even his fighting IMO, but the whole insane dialogue in the beginning, with the card game etc.... one of the most memorable scenes of the movie. And for the life of me I would not have expected that this fat guy is actually Scott Adkins hiding under prostethics... he delivered an amazing performance! Kind of reminds me of Cruise's unhinged movie producer role in "Tropic Thunder"...
So much love and respect goes out to stint men/women out there - I'm glad they are getting more respect and recognition - and seriously, Scott Adkins should have been given a much bigger role - e.g. the Tracker!
Ive seen it in cinema ant it was the first movie when i felt that i did not paid enough for the ticked, the action and stunts are next level , pretty amazing
Adkins needs to have a movie where he is rich, looks rich, act like a lady's man. maybe only then,.wb will see him as a great fit to be bruce wayne. I would really want to see him to be the next batman or redhood in theaters. Its just DC does not really care about what fans want.
Wow what a interesting talk really amazing njoyed the video till the last . The stunt guys really are one of the most hardworking guys and really deserve all the respect love and praise for the crazy things they do 🙏

Shout out to our own Jeremy Marinas. Thanks for watching 👊 OOSS
Also he can play as Sagat from street fighter
I'll say it everytime I see Scott Adkins in anything:
He REALLY has to be Batman. He has everything, the looks, the physicality, the age. Just perfect
His face shape matches the comic book version of Bruce Wane perfectly
And acting..
Absolutely agree but I can already see producers saying he looks too much like Afleck. Scott would crush it better than Afleck Id have to say.
I can also see him playing the new James Bond
It'll be seemless action. A real martial artists portraying batman, the action scenes will be the best batman fights there is.
Wow! Kudos to our Filipino workers in the Hollywood! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

I agree except for them being "wasted in low-budget DTV movies." I enjoy the hell out of most of Scott & Marko's DTV flicks.
💯

They played together in Undisputed 3. Check the Undisputed movies, Yuri Boyka the most Complete fighter in the world!
Oh yes quite familiar, as well as Savage Dog, which was a good one. Boyka always rocks
Just bought the John Wick 1-4 collection blu-ray. Awesome job mates.
This video needs to spread, seriously, John wick 4, the artists, and all the stunt people behind the scenes, deserves all the recognition
Thank you for your support! OOSS 👊
I really enjoyed watching this video 📸 and I learned so much about the stunt coordinators ❤
They need to make a Killa origins movie. Undisputed 3 with Scott and Marko is easily in top 10 martial art movies of all time.

Marko is Chilean like Pedro Pascal, Chileans are calm and friendly but they transform when they play their characters
In Movie Theater, the scene with Scott Adkin was really awesome. Everyone laught but also enjoy a lot this character.

Scott Adkins was brilliant in the movie, He stole the whole scene from beginning to the end.. What acting man..

Blown away by this movie. So good.
Secrets!
I always knew Scott was a pretty good actor especilly after seeing avengment but he is more in depth than I thought after seeing him as Killa.
Avengement is sick.. I have watched it like 10 times..
A fan of all 3 of these cats. Marko & Donnie Yen were the best things about JW4. Loved this conversation. 87eleven rules!
