Well said. The value of rhythm deserves way more discussion in the media.

My biggest fault and I'm guessing alot of people we learn learn theory and ignore probably the most important part. Thank you sir...

I just stumbled on your channel and I have to say, it's simply one of the best and most informative guitar related channels out there. I love the format, design choices, and how you teach a topic. Is there any way you could do a video about determining the scales/modes used in a song? More complex stuff, like a Vai song or jazz. That's always been an issue for me and a lot of other players when the song uses multiple scales/modes.

Wish more people knows this video. I will promise not to waste my time into silly video on youtube anymore and only focusing on coding and playing guitar (as a hobby).

    Very very good lesson.
I used to learn those blocks when i started to play and i also teach them to my son...
This is the best shortcut to be able to play rythm with confidence.

Thanks, you teach what we need to know, rather than we want. So many lessons are like "How to be a virtuoso in 5 minutes, with no effort" 😉

Awesome video! One question, for block 7 are you suppose to play the + ? It sounds like your strumming it but that would be just 4 16th notes

Great topic. Do you have any book suggestions with exercises and any dio samples with backing tracks? Which excludes the beginner material.
    Thanks

Not that the theme from "For the love of god" at the beginning was really necessary to demonstrate space between notes....but it was :D
