If JAM wasn't on the show I don't think the ratings would do so well. Like someone else commented JAM doesn't just dance. Their dance shows emotion and versatility and they are clearly having fun while they perform. Also, they pick better music in my opinion as well. They are bringing culture through music choice and dance style. All the other girls can no doubt dance but half the time the performance is boring and painful to sit through because it's predictable all the time. The only other crew that isn't boring in my opinion is Bada's team. I hope the competition will be fair and the winner will be chosen fairly as well so vote guys and hopefully, they won't cheat the true winner out of the title.
Yup they turn the table upside down and makes you watch the show with a wow factor. There’s so much they could offer that koreans should be thankful for. As Jam showcased all genre of dances, from the most simple one to the most complex.
I feel like Jam Republic already achieved their goal for joining the show which is stepping foot in the kpop industry. They participated in Jungkook's 3D, collabs with TXT and Le Sserafim. I feel like they're going to be a regular in Hybe even after the show. They might even be the main choreographer for Le Sserafim since New Jeans also have a designated choreographer which is Eoddae. LS and JR fit so well and its also their type of song. They might also handle TXT since they've been venturing in the west. I just feel like after the show, Bebe and Jam Republic will gain the most lol
100% the only crews which had good attitudes and sportsmanship were both Bebe and Jam Republic. All the others gave me the ick.. and i hope they learned through this "your attitude sets your altitude". It was literally a mean girls club.
Aside from skill, JR is a team of stars. This is the benefit of their size too because each member gets to shine more so you end up liking them as a whole.

I think they will make the finals but won't win it for some weird vote-count-scenario reason. Not only do I think MNET won't let a non-korean team win for nationalistic reasons, but also for logistical reasons. You know there are activities after the show ends like interviews/publicity, concerts/performances, and events that MNET wants a cut of. Jam Republic all have different careers and were put together for this show unlike other crews from the show. To keep them all on visas, provide translators wherever they go, and further use them for promotions after the finale costs too much time, energy, and resources. Jam Republic just has to bring the views for the videos, finale, and base promotions and MNET is fine with it. Its also not a bad deal for Jam Republic, they got a lot of popularity from the show as well and will probably be involved in future installments of the show (i.e. Street Dance Girl Fighter S2). Additionally, they can go back to pursuing their individual projects and collab just when needed like La Chica's Peanut & H1.
Exactly, when I saw that a Japanese group Tsubakill was there ( so talented btw), I knew they would be the first to leave. Although Koreans are getting better at their view or should I say the way they interact with international people now, it will still be impossible for them to fully accept an international crew to win over their own Korean groups

My thought exactly.. honestly, I know Jam Republic winning a local competition is slim to none, but at least I got to enjoy watching them having so much fun doing an amazing non stop jaw-dropping performance, and the reactions it got from the viewer and other contestants were fun to watch.
Do I think they’ll win? No. I doubt Mnet will let an international team win. Even though they’re the reason why I started watching the show, and they’re globally popular, I just don’t feel like Mnet will let them win. Honestly this season is SO GOOD! I thought it would be impossible to top season 1, but season 2 proofed me wrong. Their presence is so refreshing. I started watching as a Mannequeen fans (because Waackxxxy and Yoonji), however Jam really took my interest! They made me want to learn afro dance too. Also I started to connect and fall in love with the other crews too like Wolf Lo with their battle skill (and attitude! they are literally the chill unnies) and Lady Bounce for their teamwork. Honesly JR really changed the game. I don't know how Mnet will up the stake next season.

The other teams are good as they are but JR presence released their biggest potentials because they understood the whole world is watching too

Mnet definitely saw Jam’s popularity and tried their best to make Jam’s choreography has less impact on people. See how they pushed 1M nonstop on their channel, I won’t be surprised if they win at the end :) At least Jam Republic got more exposures for their careers from this show so what am I waiting the most is their activities after SWF2. Never heard of SWF until s2 because JR was in it bruh i love the other crews too, credits to them coz they are all unique in their own style of dancing but JR they too versatile they can literally dance to anything and after watching ep8 i dont really care f they get eliminated they already won.
I just saw the episode and the ending was not I expected. JR and 1Million are candidates for the elimination battle. I am confused just as Kirsten is after it was revealed.

Knowing how the Korean survival show works and how the votes would be, I doubt victory will be on their side. But even if they don't win, they will be even bigger than other crews. Throughout the show, they have shown performances that are outstanding, they slayed every mission given to them, and they've gained a following of fans from all around the world. They've won already.
This might be an unpopular opinion but SWF2 is actually really fair towards Jam Republic. Seeing other 'international' shows that had votes we can see that the amount of bias was insane. A 50/50 divide between Korean and International was insane for example. In SWF2 though the Korean and International votes was counted fully and it was quite fair. The last audience vote was sketchy but it was only 70 pointd out of 600 so it's not too bad.

Honestly, (LOL) by not keeping JR till the finals their viewer ratings will drop like crazy. Just look at the views right now JR surpasses everyone else with how quickly their views grow. If they get eliminated that's fine but if Mnet keeps milking them for views AFTER elimination then I'll be upset. I think the right call would be to let them stick around till the finals but ultimately if they're on Korean turf they won't win. Mnet's views will be safe if they go in that direction.

i havent watched full episodes, just seen a few youtube videos. based on what i have seen i love their energy and their talent is undeniable. my one criticism is that kirsten's style seems to emphasize aggressive sexuality and that isnt always the vibe needed for the occasion. not hate at all because she absolutely kills it, just a potential reason as to why they may not end up winning the show.
Going back now that the finale ended. They finishes 2nd which is a great feat. They are actually my 1st group in my own ranking followed by BEBE and 1Million
I just.find it.funny that in other country they supported their own people in contest and shows...but whenever a foreigner enters in philippines show or battles..we support them whole heartly 😂 to the point of wanting them winning
They're really high standard dancers but after Hwasa's incident, I doubt they can win 1st or even 2nd. But i don't think they need to win as their level is too high for greedy MNet's standard. They're at the class of their own.
I don't know SWF before, I know this program coz JR performance on YT from SWF 2, I watch them and always wait for their performance. It's fantastic and unpredictable, Kirsten is a good and wise leader and all crews did great job, too. They all sync and the energy, U can feel from how they move coz its fun to watch and no doubt about their abilities, they have their own uniqueness. Its hard to win since they're not Korean and since it's MNET program, I think. Like Hwasa' challenge, JR performance is so good and fresh and I think fit for Hwasa but her producer prefer to choose 1 Million choreography since Lia Kim did some choreography for Mamamo and Hwasa before. So, what the use to make that challenging if they knew 1 Million will be picked for sure? But anything is possible, JR made it so far and it's open KPop choreography for international performance, I guess. No matter what, JR is the best team that ever join in SWF 2 and Kirsten as the leader is so humble. I think they r recognize more than all team in SWF 2 specifically in global. I will never bored to watch JR performance, I click like for all their performance and watch them again and again. It's so addictive yo! 🤩 goodluck to JR, no matter what the result, JR always in my heart.

I'm Korean and some observations are: K-pop is extremely influenced by western culture. I feel the day K-pop dies is when they try too hard to be American and completely leave their Korean side behind. It's already happening. With the Korean dance scene, it is quite similar. It is extremely influenced by Western culture. Watching these shows and the performances of teams like Jam Republic, it feels like watching the original. Watching the Korean teams do the same moves feels like an imitation/adaptation of what these Western teams are. As a Korean, I must put aside my pride to say such things, but it is the truth. The Western teams feel a lot more natural and authentic.

He said he was crying while watching Jam Republic’s choreography BUT Mnet CUT IT OUT AND EDITED IT to make it like He was crying for 1M 🤣 How dirty! Mnet definitely saw Jam’s popularity and tried their best to make Jam’s choreography has less impact on people. See how they pushed 1M nonstop on their channel, I won’t be surprised if they win at the end :)
At least Jam Republic got more exposures for their careers from this show so what am I waiting the most is their activities after SWF2. Like interviews, photoshoots, talk shows, variety shows, concerts, interaction with other talented dance crew like Just Jerk 👀. I hope to see more of the girls after the show ends. They are so fun, talented and also phenomenal👌
JAM is so far ahead in terms of talent and popularity, and their fanbase is very strong in KR. Other teams may get some biased votes but it won't be enough to outshine them. As a korean, I have to say... we got eyes too ya know?

Knowing how the Korean survival show works and how the votes would be, I doubt victory will be on their side. But even if they don't win, they will be even bigger than other crews. Throughout the show, they have shown performances that are outstanding, they slayed every mission given to them, and they've gained a following of fans from all around the world. They've won already.
This might be an unpopular opinion but SWF2 is actually really fair towards Jam Republic. Seeing other 'international' shows that had votes we can see that the amount of bias was insane. A 50/50 divide between Korean and International was insane for example. In SWF2 though the Korean and International votes was counted fully and it was quite fair. The last audience vote was sketchy but it was only 70 pointd out of 600 so it's not too bad.

Honestly, (LOL) by not keeping JR till the finals their viewer ratings will drop like crazy. Just look at the views right now JR surpasses everyone else with how quickly their views grow. If they get eliminated that's fine but if Mnet keeps milking them for views AFTER elimination then I'll be upset. I think the right call would be to let them stick around till the finals but ultimately if they're on Korean turf they won't win. Mnet's views will be safe if they go in that direction.

i havent watched full episodes, just seen a few youtube videos. based on what i have seen i love their energy and their talent is undeniable. my one criticism is that kirsten's style seems to emphasize aggressive sexuality and that isnt always the vibe needed for the occasion. not hate at all because she absolutely kills it, just a potential reason as to why they may not end up winning the show.

JR dances differently, it’s mostly groovy vs sharp. So when they did challenges you can see them apply a different style.

I don't know SWF before, I know this program coz JR performance on YT from SWF 2, I watch them and always wait for their performance. It's fantastic and unpredictable, Kirsten is a good and wise leader and all crews did great job, too. They all sync and the energy, U can feel from how they move coz its fun to watch and no doubt about their abilities, they have their own uniqueness. Its hard to win since they're not Korean and since it's MNET program, I think. Like Hwasa' challenge, JR performance is so good and fresh and I think fit for Hwasa but her producer prefer to choose 1 Million choreography since Lia Kim did some choreography for Mamamo and Hwasa before. So, what the use to make that challenging if they knew 1 Million will be picked for sure? But anything is possible, JR made it so far and it's open KPop choreography for international performance, I guess. No matter what, JR is the best team that ever join in SWF 2 and Kirsten as the leader is so humble. I think they r recognize more than all team in SWF 2 specifically in global. I will never bored to watch JR performance, I click like for all their performance and watch them again and again. It's so addictive yo! 🤩 goodluck to JR, no matter what the result, JR always in my heart.

I'm Korean and some observations are: K-pop is extremely influenced by western culture. I feel the day K-pop dies is when they try too hard to be American and completely leave their Korean side behind. It's already happening. With the Korean dance scene, it is quite similar. It is extremely influenced by Western culture. Watching these shows and the performances of teams like Jam Republic, it feels like watching the original. Watching the Korean teams do the same moves feels like an imitation/adaptation of what these Western teams are. As a Korean, I must put aside my pride to say such things, but it is the truth. The Western teams feel a lot more natural and authentic.
Already given up the street dance series since Prime Kingz were eliminated. Only reason I watched the show now is because of Jam Republic
