You also missed the fact that SM stayed silent when he got injured and did not make any statement regarding his health. fans were trending "where is Ten" because he suddenly disappeared while his friends all debuted. Until the fans saw him in wheelchair and started to spread the information. SM has always felt threatened by Ten's popularity that's why they tried to hide him after using his fame and promoting the rokies in Thailand. He was jobless for 3 years without any fixed units and then get thrown to a unit that was barley known and had to rebuild its name from scratch because nctzens don't care about them so they had to attract new fans

SM did him dirty he was already famous before becoming a rookie. That's why SM promoted all the rookies in Thailand instead of their hometown. They knew Ten had a fanbase and they used it. That's why SM debuted Ten nct u and not in fixed unit with the least amount of lines and screentime because they wanted to promote on Thailand. But after he helped to built the brands name they just hide him in the basement

You forgot to mention that Ten is also a member of SM’s group, SuperM, which is comprised of many consider the company’s best artists, like Taemin from SHINee, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, and Ten, Lucas, Mark, and Taeyong from NCT. Hopefully, once Kai completes his mandatory military service, we’ll get to see a return of SuperM.
SuperM comeback doesn't look like it's going to happen with Baekhyun & Taemin leaving the company and
Taeyong having to go military soon.

I got interested in Ten while watching him on that dance show 'Hit the Stage'.

For everyone saying he shouldve been in 127 frl stop pushing wayv down. They are a literal family (ten said so himself) and they have incredible talent. They might not be doing as good as the other units but thats only because everyone keeps excluding wayv....
Yeah absolutely and i mean NCTZENS are the ones responsible partly for this i noticed that even for a simple thing as for recommendations for reactors they don't mention WayV that much for some reason nor help their MVs to get what they deserve views wise... whether its Cpop or Kpop they still talented af
WayV is my fave unit but I understand the frustrations of solo Ten stans cuz Ten was literally the most popular member during SM Rookies with his own pre debut fancam yet he wasn't included in the more popular subunit.. he was also in the T7S unit and SM honestly just used him as their green card in Thailand. Seeing 127 benefit from Ten's popularity in Thailand only for SM to keep him the dungeon was frustrating. And all of that just so he could be sent away to China where their chances of succeeding is very slim giving how SM doesn't seem to know how to promote them well in China. Plus mainstream kpop consumers have forgotten about him or barely know him unlike the Korean subunits members despite the fact that he's their best dancer and performer.
It's not about WayV being good group cuz they are really talented. It's about whether WayV as a brand actually elevates TEN's market value or just pulls it down. To people like us who care more about whether Ten is happy or not with his group, WayV is the best unit for him. But for people who care more about his name and success, realistically speaking WayV became a burden for his growth.
I mean just look at YSL. They've been interested in Ten for a long time but they've only named him brand ambassador when he finally debuted as a solo act. They took their time choosing between him and Jeonghan (who is in a much more popular group with a more stable fandom) cuz they want somebody from a popular group. And although Ten is also part of NCT, he is mainly associated with his subunit WayV which is not really a popular enough brand.
They needed a better brand than WayV (cuz he's barely associated with NCT) to be able to commit and that brand turns out to be the TEN LEE brand which he finally launched this year.
The way I see it, the only way for solo Ten stans to be happy about Ten being in WayV is for WayV to become more popular which is up to SM if they're gonna promote WayV well. I mean remember how 10velies were so happy during Baggy Jeans era? It's cuz they think that unit doesn't bring Ten's popularity down and that the members are good enough to be in the same group with him. I know it's kind of mean but that's what I get from them.
So I hope for other members to be given more chances so they could also shine more individually. They all deserve it and I'm sure Ten will be very relieved and happy if 10velies and WayZenNis stop fighting.
I actually became a ten fan because of WayV so I’m glad he is in that group quite honestly I want him to do what makes him happy so if that’s being part of a group or singing solo then he should go for it.
Everyone mentions TEN's performance skills already, so I wanna praise that TEN is always humble and hype his teammates and other NCT members. No wonder so many SM sonbeis and artists say nice things about TEN all the time. He really deserve the world.

But as a fanboy of Ten, i’m glad he is with WayV. I dont think he will shine in Korean units. He wont get many lines bcs we all know SM are xenophobic and tend to promote korean members more.
I agree it’s hard to learn new language and he should have debuted in fixed unit earlier with the other NCT members. But that shows his determination to achieve his dream. And finally I’m really happy that he gets his solo.

Ten really achieved his dream in a really hard way. He was one of the longest NCT members who has become a trainee in SM and he didn't get to debut in NCT 127 even though he was one of the top members that makes NCT known especially in Thailand. Despite being very talented, he only gets to appear during any NCT U comebacks and during STATION. He's the biggest star because he has paved his way to be on top mostly from his own hardworks. I'm glad that he's in WAYV though. He is happy in WayV.

It's so heartbroken that my ultimate bias must have been hurt a lot while going through such difficult times, HOWEVER it's time to forget his sad pasts and focus on his present. He is indeed amazing, and he recently released his first mini album. As a big fan of him, I am so pround of him! Let's just support him and make him happy♡ We always lov u ten❤

SM made an orchestra version of Golden Age and the person in the video was holding Ten's key (the number 10 that he was holding onto in the Golden Age mv) and they made very similar story to his where the person got knee injury and couldn't perform. But she got back up after that

Just search TEN WayV or TEN Nct. There are lots of his amazing works. He has so many masterpieces that amaze you i.e. Birthday, Dream In Dream, New Heroes. Recently, he just released his 1st solo mini album ‘TEN’ with 6 tracks in different genres. The title track is ‘Nightwalker’. He is so inspiring for everyone who pursues a dream, never gives up, and makes it come true!

After rejected starship, Ten had an opportunity to be YG trainee but his family not allow, they want Ten finished highschool first.

I wouldn't call it unfortunate. Hard and long - yes. Even painful (in both mental and physical sense). But... he's succeeded anyway, struggling a lot and fighting for his dreams (and in some parts of his path for his health and literally life), not waiting for any "fortune." I think he's more fortunate than it seems, though, because despite the really difficult situations he's ever had, he's passed them all. The only secret how he's been doing it is simply never getting up and endless hard work and selfdevelopment. ❤ No matter how high he is and how good singing, dancing and other skills he has, he never stops improving them or trying something new. I'm proud of him and happy for him because he has become a really great and famous artist as he has wanted, and he has dealt with every single obstacle.💚

I'm bittersweet on this because yes he might have gotten to where he is now faster in terms of his solo debut but.............I don't know if he would have been happier. Ten is truly Ten when he's with WayV. They get and support him so much and idk I think he ended up exactly where he was meant to even though we all know he was well and truly worthy of being in 127.
Ten in 127 will be bad for him tbh… like that group is already over crowded, especially with certain members that company favours…
@@tiffanykim2773 ten would have been so much happier if he was to debute as a member of nct 127. Let’s not fool ourselves into thinking otherwise. He trained with almost all of them from the very beginning. He had strong connections with Mark and Johnny as they were foreigners. Imagine all of the songs he would have been a part of, not to mention the 20+ concerts as well. Ideally, if sm wanted him to be in Wayv too, he could have been put into two nct groups like some of the other members.
@@xme1065 well, they’re not as successful compared to the other teams, and luck isn’t with them too, so he’s not really good in Wayv. He could’ve been both.

I’m not as much into nct as I used to be but I kept up with some members and units and seeing how SM dealt with Ten’s career is both disappointing and frustrating, given the level of popularity, talent and potential he’s had since he was a rookie. He spent a lot of years of his career in a limbo by being unitless post-debut and after another hiatus. It looked like every time he had a big momentum, SM would kill it by pushing him to the side. And him being in the most neglected and least promoted group of SM doesn’t help either. I remember back when NCT U made their debut, and especially after HTS he was one the biggest fan attractor but shortly after that he disappeared and a lot of nct fans didn’t even know if he was still part of NCT. That kind of pattern seemed to be recurring all throughout his career and I can’t imagine how widely popular he would’ve become if only he didn’t have all these set backs and was not under such a xenophobic company. Even his solo debut was cut short and sandwiched between his members schedules which is quite unfortunate. Despite all that, he’s doing well and I’m glad he never gave up! He such a talented and creative artist, I wish him the best.

He has it better than the other members on his team let's be honest he's well managed so I personally (opinion) don't claim it being unfortunate he pretty much hasn't rested since 2019 with many solo appearances ysl, street dance of china, chuang asia mc , ... I'm glad he's in WayV bc I think his talent is much more highlighted there the wait was worth it I have been following him ever since I watched him appear on Hit The Stage he claimed every performance he's had at all time

Given that he is the most disciplined when it comes to dance training, I think he's really just built that way. If you take a closer look though you will notice that his body proportions are actually great. Like his shoulders to hip ratio is excellent and his calves and thighs are very much that of a dancer's. He also does have six packs but they are flat. Also he's the most athletic dancer in Kpop..
He's definitely like a combination of delicate and strong and his style of dance actually requires a nimble and lithe body.

I know lots of people think it's his time and SM finally going to be good to him but I don't think so. Look at how soon Ten came out with his solo SM started promoting Taeyoung. You want to tell me Taeyoung who puts music out all the time SM couldn't have waited for Ten to finish and bring out his music. Taeyoung is one of SM favorites he gets longer promoting better MV a week after Ten was not going to kill his shine but they had to block Ten shine.

TEN’s been in NCT for the longest time. Those from WayV came many years later. And TEN artistic’s skilled is what stand out. Accept it or not he has the most fan base with highest spending out of the group. Would the company give a chance to person who make money to the company for sure first is not a good idea? If anyone would debut as soloist or do solo work, those who debuted in seventh sense group should start first.
