    I installed it without a problem. I just needed the correct Honda pdf instructions for the Ridgeline only. Thanks.

    Excellent video. Clear and concise. I have a 2016 Touring that started displaying "Reading" for 20 or 30 seconds then shows "Mecha Error". In case I have to replace the unit your video makes it possible for me but I'm hoping that it just needs to be cleaned. I would appreciate any tips that you might have about my issue.

    Your video inspired me to save some serious cash and install myself, Thank you! However, I have run into an issue when I got to the plug the CD player in part. The "extra" wire that was in my 2019 Pilot seems to be the female receiver of a wire harness? there is not a male part to plug into the back of the CD player. Does this mean I need to install a CD player harness or am I just missing an adapter/connector?

    Good lighting and camera positioning, and video. Question: Do you know if you can upgrade the LX radio (same one you have) to one of the more premium OEM Android based offered on the Pilot / Ridgeline models? Thanks

      I'm thinking probably not because those vehicles would be equipped with different wiring harnesses for the upgraded stereo and rear entertainment systems. So I would think they would not align

    I also have a 2018 Pilot EX. I used the part numbers you gave, to order, shows it fits the latest Pilot's except the 2018's. Why not the 2018's? Ordered through a Honda OEM parts house, gave VIN number, said they don't have it. What do I do?

      I know Honda is having a lot of trouble with backordered parts right now. Is that why they dont have it right now?

    Does anyone know if this works in the ex l radio?

      What year is your vehicle and what options does it have? Nav? Rear seat entertainment?

    Stupid question, but important. Did you disconnect the truck battery before installing?

    • @streetriderscustoms
      @streetriderscustoms  2 года назад +1

      I'll be honest, I did not disconnect it. But rule of thumb is that it's a good idea to disconnect the battery before working on it

    How would you ship 4 rim set? Individually or all in one box. Would ship YRC or Pirateship?

    • @streetriderscustoms
      @streetriderscustoms  3 года назад +1

      One box would be too big and heavy for regular shipping (FedEx/ups). If you get paid enough for the shipping costs individual wouldn't be bad.
      But if you put them on a pallet and boxed them up nice you could easily ship YRC or a freight shipping and if going to a business it might be the cheapest and easiest way

    Do you know if the DVD/Blu Ray version would also work or does it have to be the CD only option?

    • @streetriderscustoms
      @streetriderscustoms  3 года назад

      Do you mean would this be the same process to hook up the DVD player?

    • @silversubies6587
      @silversubies6587 3 года назад

      @@streetriderscustoms no,would the plug work the same to power a DVD player. It looks similar. Obviously the DVD player has an extra port for the video side of things.

    • @streetriderscustoms
      @streetriderscustoms  3 года назад

      Honestly, since I have not seen what the backside of the DVD player looks like I do not know. And I don't want to give you any bad advice so you'd have to look into that more to make sure

      @@streetriderscustoms And verdict is.... DOESN'T WORK. The plugs look similar but the DVD one is WAAAY bigger than the plug that is tucked in the dash. Just ordered the standard CD player from the stealership :(

      Well thanks for finding out for all of us. I figured they weren't the same but didn't know 100%. I wish you would have ordered through the Amazon links in the description to order and help out the channel
