Its a very expensive license from Gracenote, would make each one of these kits cost nearly $1000 each which is unreasonable for everyone. Thanks music industry gatekeepers!
I wish they kept cd players in new cars
Sadly, the generic CD player does not work in my car. I’ve got a new headunit. But it just says “USB error” because I don’t think my Headunit recognises WAVs, what kits do you have in stock please?
I don't see an order of this product going to anyone with this name, but if you did order from us please contact us directly for assistance: cdforcars at gmail dot com
@@cdforcars4767 it’s the CD unit I have from Amazon. It is identical. Unless of course the internals are different? I don’t however have the actual inline converter which you speak of. Which is probably where my problem comes in.
@@Landie_Man Correct that would be the problem! We do not sell our kits on Amazon currently, so that definitely did not come from us. The inline converter is the whole purpose of this video and what we are showing off in particular. Would love for you to try one!
@@cdforcars4767 how much would the converter be (without the CD player) posted to the U.K.?
P.S. my unit is a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB. Bluetooth, DAB radio, AM/FM, hands free calling, 2 x AUX, 2x USB and SD card all built into a -1980s look a like unit, finishes off a classic car perfectly without all the “bling” associated with a modern head unit. You can so adjust the backlight colours for your car, aqua or maybe an amber orange (which I use in a Volvo 240). But I’d like CD options!
@@Landie_Man Unfortunately this kit will not work with that radio as Apple CarPlay is a requirement for this kit to do anything. If you check out our website, the Audiobook+ CD Player will work with your radio. We also have international shipping enabled so you can add it to cart and get an accurate postage quote. Would you consider revising your original comment to mention that your kit that is not working, is not the kit listed in our video?
Yeas🎉🎉
Never should've taken them out.
It's $300?
Remember when cars didn't have cd players and a cassette that plugged into a discman was the way to do it? That's what this is.
thanks for the video, can you test it on rough road as I'm a truck driver and my cd player skips so bad it won't let me listen to cds
Battle tested to continue operating on the roughest of roads when securely installed in a fixed position 👍
I am still confuse, to much to learn, hope the next new car should bring back cd player.
I got an HR-V and that cd player skips so much the tracks even with new cds. Anyone knows some fix for that?
shoot us an email and we would love to assist you if you have one of our kits cdforcars at gmail dot com

Where is Škoda
Does your Skoda have Apple CarPlay? If so, this kit will work!
