if you use lemon oil on lighter (as in light colored) wood such as maple, ash, basswood, etc. you will end up discoloring the wood, turning it into a grey-ish hue. it's useful for relicing an instrument, though ❤️

I don't know if it's something that you can get internationally, but here we have pretty good access to BALLISTOL
There's a much easier way and more accurate way of doing this.
i know, but this is probably the easiest way of doing it without the need of big tools. at least that i could think of 😅
