Transforming a Christian Camp Dorm in Historic New Freedom, PA | A Month of Hard Work and Adventure

We had an incredible time the month we spent remodeling a dorm building at a Christian camp and retreat center in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. With a tight deadline, a lot of work needed to be done in a short amount of time to prepare a welcoming space for the incoming campers. While there, we explored the rich history of this area, known for its significant role in the Underground Railroad and its importance as a stopping point for travelers. New Freedom, located near the Pennsylvania and Maryland state,line offers a fine blend of historical significance and natural beauty. We even had the chance to ride on a nearby bike path that crosses state lines, adding an extra layer of fun to our trip.
