You are amazing! I would never take it apart, let alone put it back together. I don't know where you have this knowledge from, but you're doing a really good job, you actually do miracles! Keep it up!💪💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥

It's like a big LEGO (no pun intended) set but with no instructions :). After having done a few of these you kinda get to know how they put them together, but pesky people at VW keep on changing things so there is always a little surprise. Taking a different manufacturers dashboard would certainly be different now that I am so used to VW dashes.

Well get it sorted, would have just been a lot easier access with the front end off ... A lesson for me for the future to test the cooling system before sending the car off to the body shop.

PS. Just putting this out there. Have you tried locking the steering wheel first full lock left then full lock right? Doubt this will clear the issue, but worth a go.

Actually I did try that, apparently 3 full turns from left to right helps, but not in this case. Read up about it and with these newer VW's the 'crash data' needs to be cleared, so will need a visit to my mechanic friend to get that cleared up, hopefully without too much hassle.

    5WA-035-284-B = Control Module/Bluetooth Module Possibly?

think your right buddy, looked it up and apparently some online services control module, quite frankly a 'wtf' moment for me ... need to look up as to what this actually does.
