  • Pundits applaud South African sports authorities for relaxing a traditional quota system focused on promoting racial equality in the national cricket team, after the Proteas made history by advancing to the finals of the cricket World Cup. South African sports officials said the team's performance reflected players who were selected on merit and not across racial lines.
