- Опубликовано: 25 май 2019
- This video explains the procedure for calculating the times and heights of tides at a secondary port using the standard port as a reference.
The use of the proforma for tides is explained for student use. The principles of this calculation will remain the same irrespective of any secondary port.

Can you do one example on diurnal tides
Sir please make a basik video on tide solution.....
Sir so there's a big confusion in my head. my proff tom jinnet says that first seasonal corrn ive to take for std port which il minus, then for secondary port mean level il add seasonal corrn of secondary port! Where as in this video it says seasonal corrn we'll see for secondary port only and then first minus it then add it later. idk which one is correct please help?
Please correct the mistake sir
@@akhileshsoorada6575 nai batayega,

What if we get final height of tide for secondary port negative?
Shall we take it 0?

Sir while changing the seasonal change sine in the first part if it is negative then what should we do. Make it positive or write as it is?
make it positive
Nice I learned , Hi new friend here.
Stay connected, Thanks:)
Where did you get the 1.6?
Cant read the no. Very small

what...?don't tell lies .. how the secondary port seasonal changers put by changing the sign of standard port seasonal change? It is given separately in tide table under seasonal changers section. In this example both Standard and secondary port seasonal changes values are same. but it will not happen as that in every where. Even in the given picture also you can see there are some Secondary ports which are having different seasonal changers from their Standard port.

Audio is just increasing and decreasing instantly. Annoying!
Only you can understand because you are too fast!
