DesertX chain upgrades.

Check your slave cylinder clearance when upgrading your chain.
Have seen 2 broken slave cylinders and 1 being chewed out from chains.
Some of this may also come back to the short life span and/or reasoning behind the use of lighter duty OE chain. (Width)
Most chain specs are given in pin width measurement, here are the measured 'plate to plate' widths.
OE is approx 19.8mm
EK SRX2 19.8mm
RK GXW 20mm (pictured below)
Regina ZRP 20.32mm
EK ZVX3 20.4mm
When you get into the superbike range, you'll see upwards of these sizes, and on other adv bikes they're a common choice for longevity and minimal adjustments.
EK SRX2 is a good direct replacement (size) and will more than outlast the standard OE chain, above that, expect some rubbing like ours in the video.
After the small clearance mod, we can easily run the Regina ZRP or EK ZVXW without rubbing.
