Tis because Dwight Schrute is a man of utmost integrity and character. Once Michael had left, Dwight kept my interest in the show. Jim and Pam were great, but I feel Dwight was the soul of the show

The fact that Dwight put Eli Whitney as one of his role models makes me laugh every time
The fact that he put Dane Cook on there was a shock for me. Doesn't seem like Dwight's type of comedian, if Dwight were to even like comedy, or laughter.

This scene made me weirdly mad since Andy only got in because his parents are rich, yet he feels justified by turning down Dwight just because.

All posh people are like that.
It may be true that he only got in because his parents were rich but once you start going to a school, the camaraderie and the experience there will inevitably make you feel proud of it.
Plus, I think Andy made friends with other trust fund kids there who all reassured each other that they belong.
So that’s kinda how universities in America work
It doesn't matter if he got in because of wealth.
Having Andy in the background brooding while Dwight does his interview was perfect.
The table tug of war with their overlapping exact closing interview remarks had me dying in tears!😂
This was one of my favorite episodes. Dwight basically became Jim and made Andy himself. I didn't know he had it in him.

I’ve watched this show around 20 times. This episode is one of my favorites. When Andy is interviewing Dwight, and Dwight turns the interview 180 and pulls the desk towards him is one of the funniest scenes of this show

This entire episode was a master class in trolling on Dwight's part.
He even talked about THEIR football team.
Dwight really is savage when he wants to be, and he and Andy had a rivalry from the very first day of the merger.
True. Andy and Dwight were bickering from the start over who was number two in the office, not realizing it was neither of them; Jan had already appointed Jim to be the assistant regional manager.

I’m watching this as I prepare for my interview at Cornell in the morning.
As in Jim’s famous words “I’ll be conducting the interview” that’s exactly what Dwight did
I once had an interview where the interviewer was absolutely horrible to me for no obvious reason. Didn't get the job, but then reapplied a short time later and got the job after an interview with someone normal. Eventually I moved up to a supervisor position and that rude person had to report to me, which means I get to evaluate their performance. I guess sometimes tables do turn.
And in case anyone wondered what happened to that guy, he was fired after my very first evaluation with him (for legitimate reasons). Karma.
