Last story, you should have not called her mom or her name to her face but control freak. I also would have taken the cell phone (if she had paid for it) and thrown it in the firepit right in front of her. Then said is there anything else you want to try to control you control freak? Then literally watch her come unglued.
I laugh at clowns who want to move into gated communities to only realize their mistake & cry about it thinking anybody else is going to care...
Big difference between gated community and HOA. My community does not have a HOA.

First story, my father told a similar tale though in that case it was intended to be a Halloween prank but having been the target of such pranks in the past the old lady moved the outhouse herself so the would be pranksters became the victims of their own prank.
Last story, I would go full No Contact with "mother" once I hit 18
I owned 3 electrical vehicles in my lifetime & they were NEVER illegal! I even did advertising with all of them when I worked for a man who promoted them.😊
That first OP is a real jerk for the way he hates on people who care about the environment, creating a severe tripping hazard, and for not parking his stupidly large truck (AKA compensation vehicle) in the driveway where it belongs
