I got a great deal on a 2nd gen T4 through Alien rides about a year ago after I made a removable seat platform made from an old 20” unicycle to mount on my Onewheel XR . I was hooked immediately and I knew I wanted a sit down Euc. Unfortunately there weren’t many EUC’s with decent unicycle seats. I used to ride pedal uni’s which are a seated vehicle and bought the T4 with the intention of riding mainly seated. The original T4 seat is a joke unless you’re a small person but, I knew I could upgrade it. I then bought a new after market seat from well known pad maker that turned out not be much better. I figured out a way to mount a Surron seat on it and I fabricated a strong front grab handle and now it ROCKS! I’m riding about 50/50 on/off road and I’m riding 100% standard sitting Uni style and loving it. Standing is way easier to learn but I don’t like it as much as riding side stance on Onewheels. It’s kinda like the difference between snow skiing and boarding for me. Plus I have a weak knee that happens to be on my primary leg for mounting EUC’s which makes getting up difficult for me. It took me a long time to just be able to ride around the block but , I found that I had to “pad up” like a hockey player to make myself more confident and I had to push myself to go a little further every day. Practicing start and stops hundreds of times paid off. Now I can go faster, further, and over moderately rough trails. Honestly at 66yrs old , I can’t even imagine riding something different over the next few years that would make me happier. I’m really glad I have both vehicles and I use them differently because they are different machines and they don’t compare to each other to me. I’ve tried riding Onewheels off-road and yes it can be done but it’s really sketch and out of control to me . The suspension, torque, and range of the T4 and EUC’s in general make the Euc the overall winner off road for me. I’m thinking my toys should easily last me as long as my body can. Personally, when I want to do serious off-road, I go to my E-Mtb and nothing else really comes close. I try to choose the “right tool for the job” to make myself happy.
I got my t4 about 30 days ago I'm new to euc i had a ks16s for 2 weeks before i got the T4. as a new rider i got to say i love my t4 soso much. first thing you must do is get rid of the stock pads maybe they would be ok if your just learning but they got to go lol. my first day i got my T4 i took it out for a spin and next thing i know im flying up trails and flying down trails. the new tire that come on the batch 2 i love it soso much. day one with my t4 i was riding in places i did not think i would got for 30-60 days after getting it but this t4 makes me feel like its part of my leg. my ks16s i just can not ride it anymore i can never go back to a none suspension wheel.
I appreciate the candor as always... I got an Inmotion V8F because I wanted the safest wheel that could be a good bike replacement - on your recommendation. It was great - it survived the worst crashes with only cosmetic damage. Now I ride a KS S-18 and it seems about ideal so far. Never crashed hard, it's as heavy as I'd want to deal with, goes as far as I'd want to and no farther, is comfortable, doesn't need pads, goes offroad and jumps without pain or problems... but I really thought the T4 looked neat! I always wanted an MTen3 for travel. But the first 5min told me I'm not in for that. I want a vehicle that will absolutely work when I need to get somewhere. If I use the top 50% charge on my current EUCs, I could ride through a flood and it would probably be fine. While I can surf pavement for my own mistakes it should never be for cutout.
GREAT VIDEO. 2023 = 70 mph EUC EUCs need to split in a 3rd direction. 1st is the portable category 2nd is the rider category 3rd has to be the highway category That evolution won't take place until 2024. In that time, a new wheel is going to become the alternative motorcycle. By 2026 there will be a 100 mph capable EUC.
u will not do 100 on a euc, if u ever rode a weped scooter that does 80mph like the dark knight you will understand that a euc doing 85 mph you wouldnt be able to stand up... I ride Euc's I have an s22 and the amount of wind that you feel at 80 mph is isane it ppl will die much easier... 60 mph is fine compared to 80.
Once EUC's become more mainstream (and assuming the manufacturers don't oppose right to repair), I foresee a pretty big aftermarket for parts, customization, upgrades, etc. in the future
I am pretty happy with this wheel. I do not think Begode is any less reliable than Inmotion or Kingsong lately. My Sherman V2 was great build quality. My V11 was a nightmare of problems. went through 3 mother boards and three motors. Rusty bearings. Looking forward to getting an EX30. Will keep my T4. Great for off-roading and shopping. Fun wheel.
I have the V11 and am selling my V10. I've eyed the mten for years b/c I want a small EUC to run quick errands, for my short commute to/from work and the gym (assuming this could fit into a locker). BUT I don't want something unstable. I wish Manhattan had an EUC store for trying before buying.

T4, V13, Master etc should work for you! Otherwise last gen wheels V12 HT or V12 HS, RS19 HT or RS19 HS (with LiTech batteries), S22 or EXN (either model if they have Litech batteries get it) are all worth taking a look. Either one will give you what you need and you can grow into each wheel. The question is do you need suspension or not?
@Mike T Thanks for the info and suggestions! I'll be sure to look into a few more of those from last generation to get a good foundation for riding. I was stuck on the V12 HT vs T4 for something in 16in but have heard of a few QC issues with T4.

😄Tiny? The Begode T4 is 70+ pounds! Begode's Mten4 is what I might call tiny, at under 29 pounds, which can also do well off road, but is without a suspension. The T4, however, may be considered "tiny" as the smallest EUC with a suspension, but new riders should know it's far from the smallest EUC available. I highly recommend new riders begin on smaller, lighter models and move up to larger, heavier EUCs, once skills improve, but only if more speed is desired, otherwise smaller EUCs remain a perfectly good ride. I also recommend experienced riders having a smaller model EUC, because they can be really useful and fun, too!
RS19 HS or RS19 HT (with LiTech batteries), V12 HS or V12 HT (non suspension), S18, S22, T4 or Master (Suspension). I'd stay with this group to choose from. If you want bigger non suspension, try the EXN (either model)
Are eevees proactively replacing the old motors with new ones, or are they waiting for their customers to get cutouts first before replacing? They are sold out of their T4 v1 wheels.
I'm trying to understand the physics of the one wheel. What happens if you extend front and rear and use that space to carry the batteries allowing the wheel to be narrower around your legs?

I just got an Mten4 and am enjoying it, but Begode should stop treating safety as an afterthought. These things are serious vehicles moving people at high speeds, and I have the hospital bills to prove it. I've purchased an Inmotion V12 and V13, and I don't think I'll purchase from another manufacturer until safety becomes a top priority.
A safer IM wheel of that scale, maybe V12ish with suspension and some of the newer V13 tech (like redundant Hall sensors, bigger Mosfets, etc.) will be much preferable for practical use. Begode's design and QC are unacceptable (to me). A wheel known to be prone to cut outs, in a city use case can instantly turn you into the newest speed bump on 1st Ave. In the wild-west early. days they were pioneers, but they have failed to keep up with industry development. Especially regarding safety. Am fine with doing a few tweaks and mods, but not willing to sacrifice safety, especially for "meh" performance. And a new wheel cracking almost out of the box due to cheap materials? No way am I trusting my life to that.
The V2 has been out for a while, like I know 5 people who owns a T4, all of them are V2's, which has a kick stand, but stock pedals sucks compared to the V1.
"This Tiny Wheel" ! Is the T4 a tiny wheel? The Master Pro is a big wheel..... 4 paw drive. Maneuverable, but the Master was better than I expected. The Master suspension didn't bottom or top out for me even up/ down kerbs at 200lb psi in the shock (I'm 83Kg). I think they must have changed the geometry out of the box. Supplied on a street tyre? The knobbly CST-186 on the Master appears to be better at low tyre pressures, 27 psi for me. I hate leaves, they hide all kinds of trouble. Too speed obsessed, I do have the Master, but why I wouldn't buy the T4, because I already have a 16X and an S18 that would be why.
When you take the time to ride through forests a lot then you will learn to read the leaves. How they lay will tell you if there's a hole or bump underneath. Though speed makes it tricky
Yeah the T4 is kinda funny, I don't think it make sense to buy one if you got a master already, and unless you want a dedicated offroad wheel, you prob want to upgrade sooner or later.
If you ever gonna ride offroad and don't mind dealing with repairs (very important) then T4, otherwise v12ht. Even with a brand new wheel 2 weeks in I am already having problems like the LED/headlight stop in the cold and the 80% cutout
Even the lowly ones that have their wires remixed and new controller, rarely will they ever get past 30% increase, which means it's top speed already(he looked comfortable, not racing you) was app 28-30,¬ stressing there either,I don't know of too many that can say that and fewer still in the eww-bike category
Refuse to buy anything begode they make fast wheels that cost more then competitivers but have the worst build quality so you need to buy a protective case to put it in and water proof it yourself no thanks

@@Blox117 That problem solved with MOSFET replacement/ recall. (At least IM admits and addresses.). Oversized MOSFETs in the V13
@@bkanegson cutouts in t4 solved with replacement motor. whats your point?
Which gotway wheel was the 1st to hit 40mph?
Probably the MSP?
I think MSX 100V?
I'm on nik2 side that's not released yet
The V2 has been out for a while, like I know 5 people who owns a T4, all of them are V2's, which has a kick stand, but stock pedals sucks compared to the V1.
But will it send?
I could've sworn the T4 ran a C30 (high speed) motor, and that all the torque was coming from the 16" wheel size...?
Yes, it doesnt have a high torque motor unlike the video says
5:29 Will there be a follow up with the 3D printed parts you mentioned? I hope not, because I want to make sure you wasted my 23 minutes properly. :)
seems for Hsiang every wheel is the best, lol
it can't go over a tree, that means even compare to KS16X, it is a NO GO offroad (killed the motherboard)
A real knobby will make much difference off road.
All M10-4s are the reason Christmas was a dud, this year. All Santa’s elves were angry that their wheels got stolen..
T4 is looking better due to cost. Others have shit for speed...
*pulling hair out over T4 or V12HT*
gaaah
If you ever gonna ride offroad and don't mind dealing with repairs (very important) then T4, otherwise v12ht. Even with a brand new wheel 2 weeks in I am already having problems like the LED/headlight stop in the cold and the 80% cutout
Its nice but twice as heavy as my v8f..
yo what are those knee pads?
Personally i lost interest on T4 because of lack of practicality of having a stand or kick stand. I wish reviewers inform us of fan noise
Completely agree here. It's not much fun going speed riding. I was expecting more performance. Is more like a Jeep than anything
still good review. but your off road skill could rise some )
If a "lowly" ebike passed you at 38mph, it's not one of the lowly ones
Even the lowly ones that have their wires remixed and new controller, rarely will they ever get past 30% increase, which means it's top speed already(he looked comfortable, not racing you) was app 28-30,¬ stressing there either,I don't know of too many that can say that and fewer still in the eww-bike category
I'd avoid this one too many problems.
SORRY NOT THE BEST OFFROAD, BUT THE BEST BUMP READY WHEEL
V13 how about it? Lol
Bruh. It gives me anxiety seeing you weave through nyc traffic while talking/recording. Probably why I click on your vids lol.
🤙🏼⚡⚡🤙🏼
no thanks , not interested in a time bomb.
For me it’s not a time bomb, it’s a time machine😅
Why, it won't explode
Lol
You snooze you lose
Its a bomb?
RIP s22 lol
Refuse to buy anything begode they make fast wheels that cost more then competitivers but have the worst build quality so you need to buy a protective case to put it in and water proof it yourself no thanks
