Excellent Video! Enjoyed watching all of it!
Very informative.
Very interesting record of the Jubilee Bells story. I am pleased to think the metal from our old tenor bell at Steeple Aston went into these new bells.
Once again Whitechapel showing what they do best at beautiful bright 8 bell peals that sound so joyful. Surley if you were getting married then Whitechapel bells have the edge
My father Ernie Rowe was a bell hanger at Whitechapel till 1972, I often worked at the foundry as a young man during school holidays or helping out dad. I am very proud of Whitechapel indeed
Brilliant! Loved every second. Thanks!
Brilliant. Thank you for doing this, and for making it available.
Excellent insight into such an interesting project
Amazing ...loved this
Great video, very informative. Thank you
Thank you! I am a beginning ringer and can really recognise only Plain Hunt and Grandsire.
In the warehouse Bristol? At Garlickhythe Cambridge. On the barge couldn't hear.
What is this music at about 20:00 when the bell is being pulled up? It's amazing
A beautiful, appreciative, sensitive video. I love it. I couldn't hear properly what method the ringers were ringing at Garlickhythe, and I really want to know what they rang on the barge!
I am so glad the bells are popular in England. Its sad over here in USA I do not hear the bells ring anymore. The churches have a rope and all they have to do is pull it. I think they are ashamed to ring their bells. I remember as a boy in my small village, 3 bells use to ring for 3 or 4 minutes . Only one still rings and they just pull the rope once or twice. Very sad indeed.
I have a large iron one 33 inches made by Goulds MFG Senica Falls NY. They only make modrn pumps now. New name is ITT Goulds Corp.
Does anyone know what method is being rung?
