I like how the hardcore system work, it's very smart. I don't know if I'll use it or like it myself, I just think it's a very ingenuous way to let people with different play styles enjoy the game.

theres bit of a balance problem with weapons that pierce doing wayyy better than those that dont.

are u sure currency dont carry? U did started the run with 400 souls in the bonfire and when u ended it the 400 souls where still there
They do carry. You just don't take them with you into the next run, but the bonfire is acting like a bank for souls.
