Went from running multiple marathons a year to none and then did the Blue Angel marathon in Pensacola, FL after three months of no running. You are right - DO NOT RECOMMEND doing one without training! You did an awesome job! What an experience to have for the rest of your life.

Hey Taylor! Such an adventure! I miss marathon day in Boston. There are few things like marathon day in a big city. I highly recommend people go experience one if you are near an event. No way! I used to live at mile 6 of the marathon! Small world! You looked pretty damn good at mile 25, but man the smiles at the finish were awesome!🙏 Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well.

I have spent years on the AT. When you announced you were going to hike it I said you will not be hiking with anyone because your pace will be much faster than everyone else, and you will not want to sit back and run in place- waiting, with those long legs. You were offended, I think because you wanted the fellowship. A marathon with no training? I rest my case.

I learned about nipple chafing and I couldn’t walk the next day. My knees were shot while hiking downhill for years.
