    Very nicely played, Blaine, and I can see why English banjo makers like William Temlett took such a shine to it when one of the Dobsons (sorry, forgotten which one) demonstrated it to them around 1868, and started making their own copies kicking off the zither-banjo craze which lasted from the last two decades of the 19th Century to around 1940 and isn't dead yet!

      @@MuddyGutSailingAndOutdoors we were lucky and came out of it all relatively unscathed. I’ve been able to go help the community a bit as well.
