This is confusing. The treble clef line has been written incorrectly for 6/8. It 'reads' as 3/4
The left hand plays 6 8th notes for each chord and bar, so for me it's definitely 6/8. If it was written in 3/4, then it will feel like a waltz but this song is not a waltz at all, the groove is different between 3/4 and 6/8.

I think that a view with a rolling score and also falling notes could be quite useful.
I think the timing is sort of like 15/16 with the first durations on the left hand being 3/16, 1/8, 1/8, 1/8, 3/16, 3/16.
Well, it's just free/legato with some weird tempo flux. I'm trying to synthesize this piece and it isn't easy.

I can send you the midi file without rubato if you prefer, but it's not beautiful. But when I post this kind of midi file, people are complaining that it's without expression.
This version is perfectly synchronised on the very first version of Enya.
