Sunglasses: absolutely hilarious!!! 😎😄😂😁😂 but seriously, wow guys how I love your video. Stunning shots of a paradise-on-earth setting. Ofcourse the shopping part is always good fun. Gerard loved the Kilimanjaro beer brand. We say cheers to your amazing video and a special holiday to be kept in your hearts as a wonderfull experience and memory.
Love the shots from the Dhow guys! Well done Craig taking off and landing the drone from there. Wow! Finding your sunglasses in the sea two days later, that’s amazing! 😎
Lol! That’s a story I’ll remember forever! Still can’t believe those sunglasses laid at the bottom of the ocean, on the other side of the island for 2 days! And that I actually found them 😂
I would cry so hard if I ever get to experience with turtles, I love them so much. My dad used to pull over our car and made me pet turtles when I was little during the road trips, so either in the water or on the ground, my heart melts when I see them! The drone shots and the sunset views were purely magical. Speaking of magic, I can't believe you found your sunglasses in the water two days later!
Wow! Feeding those turtles looked amazing! I've never seen a natural aquarium like that either. So unique! Love the Kendwa beach! I could see why you went back there several times. So beautiful and I loved your drone shots! Amazing!
Always love the bloops! The drone shots were epic! The water was incredible!!!! Caribbean or Mediterranean like! Great video guys! What a hoot you found your glasses! 😂😂~Cara
Aww guys this was such a fun episode to watch 😍 the first day looked perfect...turtles, white sand beach, turquoise water and a sunset...what more could one ask for 😁 And I love that you were able to make it back 🙌 Beer and pizza on the beach...oh yea 🍺 🍕 Great tips for saving a bit of 💰 Chantz...your sunglasses 😆🤣
Yeah, we definitely found paradise on that part of the island 😌 Hopefully we can meet up one day on some exotic beach and have pizza and beers together 😁🍻
Feeding those turtles looked so fun! I love turtles so I'd want to so that for sure. The beach looked perfect. I would definitely spend a day or a few days there. The pizza must have been so good. Great tips about the bargaining with the shop owners. The water taxi looked fun!
Yo! Better hit the Casino! Can't believe you found your sunnies in the ocean after 2 days! Bet they're still swiping the credit card 🤣Nice Vlog. Looking forward to going there this year.
Wow the beaches in Zanzibar look absolutely stunning! Love that you guys got to feed those rescue turtles. They looked so sweet! Loved the boat you guys went on for your sunset tour too. That looked like such a magical ride. Great tip to make friends and share cost of tours with them! That's a win-win for everyone
🤗🤗 you must be so excited for your trip!! Where will you be staying? Tours are more or less $50 - $70 each. But you can negotiate 😅 Taxis are also about $40 - $70, depending where you leave from. All our food was included in our stay at the resort, so not too sure how much food would cost. Street food was very cheap at the food market in Stone Town though…but go for vegetarian options to be safe (we had cheese and tomato Zanzibar pizzas…yumm! And Nutella and banana 🙊🤤) Souvenirs also come down to your negotiation skills, but sarongs, beach bags etc can range from R100 and up. We felt bad bartering for less than that. Hope this helps 😁
Hey guys! Myself and my wife are booked to go in Feb next year and we’re going to be based in Nungwi for our whole stay. From your short time there, would dollars or shillings be of better use at either local places or resort restaurants? Also, I’ve read that atm bank charges are ridiculous, did you come across the same? We’ve watched all your videos in this series and we’re so looking forward to it!!
Hi Thafir, sorry for the late reply. I think you made an excellent decision staying in Nungwi! We drew money once, so we used shillings. I don't think it matters too much which currency you use, but if you pay with dollars, they just might give you change in shillings. Definitely important to have cash with you though for local shopping...in our experience, we could pay by card at the resorts. You must be soooo excited :)
We are staying in Nungwi at the moment. We've brought dollars and use the credit card every now and then. Its definitely best to have cash for buying from shops and local people. Everyone accepts dollars and Shillings. Some places have 3 to 5% charges on cards and 0%. We still still need to explore the area but so far it's great
Thanks for the video tour guys, it was very informative. I do apologise if you shared this already, but what would you say your budget should be for all the extras, food, excursions, etc. in short, what was the cost of your trip excl. Flights and hotel.
Thanks for watching 😊 we did 3 tours in total, I think it came to about $150. We spent a bit of money shopping in Stone Town, maybe another $50. All food was included in the resort stay and and a lot of drinks were included too. It just depends on how many tours you want to do, if you want to hire a car, how much shopping you want to do, etc Hope that helps 😊
Hi John, if you’re staying 10 days, why don’t you maybe stay in 2 different places 🤷🏻♀️ We stayed on the east of the island, the only vibe was within the resort itself. No shops around though, but also very few ‘beach boys’ selling stuff. If we ever go back, we’d love to stay in Kendwa. Beautiful beaches where low tide doesn’t really have an effect on swimming in the sea. You can easily get to Nungwi as well where there are lots of restaurants and some shops. But…a lot more people bothering you to buy tours and souvenirs 😅 It might also be nice to stay in Stone Town for a night or two, apparently there are some really nice rooftop restaurants, which we missed out on. I think the spice tour and prison island tour departs from Stone Town as well. But this is quite a busy part of the island.
Maybe check out this channel, it’s a local guy with some amazing recommendations, wish we found his channel before our trip 🙈😅 ruclips.net/channel/UCTkAJ6UeE9T7gg2tcfAQGUQ
Hey, we booked it the day after we arrived :) There are also lots of people selling these cruises and other tours when you’re sitting on the beach, it’s actually quite fun to barter prices with them 😅
Hi - could you please share the hotel name that you stayed in Kendwa? Also, we plan to go in April as well - did you fine it rained a lot when you were there? Thanks! :)
Heya, we didn’t stay in Kendwa. We stayed in the Zanzibar Bay Resort on the east coast, about an hour’s drive from Kendwa. If you can, definitely stay somewhere on the northern tip. For us, it only rained one morning, but that was two years ago 😅 it was still hot and humid though. Hope you have an amazing time in Zanzibar, we’d love to go back one day 😌
Fantastic video! I would like to ask you about drones. Do you need any permission or license to fly a drone? I found that you must obtain permission from the Ministry of Defense and National Service and also to pay some fee. I'm going to visit Zanzibar and I'm not sure I can take my DJI Mini 3.
@@BeingBedingfield Thanks much, I have tried to contact their Ministry of Defence but without any answer. You need a permition, but it is not possible to get it. So I am going to take a dron and just fly. Have a nice day.
Hi there I would like, to know what's the cost of a Full board 5 night or 7night stay in zanzibar, who did you guys book with and lastly which are the best months to visit in terms of weather?
We paid R7990 for 7 nights all inclusive, it even included our flights…we booked with AfricaStay. Apparently the best time is June/July…but it’s hot all year round.
I strongly disagree with swimming with the tortoise as the sun cream plus stuff on the bodies stays on the water they are leaving on it, this have to stop, guy is nice to see them but have more respect to them, I’m not sure how they not see it, so small minded people.🤮🤮🤮🤮💩💩💩
Don’t worry, I agree with you! Like I said in the video, it wasn’t something I really wanted to do. I didn’t realize it was included in the tour 🙈 At least they made people shower beforehand to remove the sunscreen.
Oh my goodness feeding those hungry rescued turtles looked so magical, Chantelle one of them looked like he was giving you a little cuddle! 🤗🐢
Aww, he did, but then someone shouted that they bite 🙈

My sunglasses 😎😂😂
Thanks for a fantastic, magical video. Thanks to you, Zanzibar is now on my bucket list. Love all your videos!
Thanks so much 🙏☺️ We really loved Zanzibar 😌
Just gorgeous visuals. High production value. Well done, guys👍🏿
Thanks so much Mbuso, really appreciate the comment 🙏
The sunglasses story is really funny! Also, I absolutely love your videos. The cinematography is great 👌🏾

Still dreaming of that perfect, beautiful beach 😌 the pizza was great, because we haven’t had ‘food from home’ that whole week 😅
Beautifuul, you have done juustice. Sad to leave
Thanks so much Hemanth! We were very sad to leave 😭 but grateful for the memories 🥰😅
The story about the sunglasses is cool :)

Omg that's so wild that you found your sunglasses 2 days after you lost them! What are the chances of that?
The guy at the shop I met him too he’s very funny. Swimming with Turtle was amazing experience
What?!? No way, that’s so cool 😅

Was it easy to being your drone to zanzibar? I am going next week with my djimini 3 pro
Hi, yes, we packed it in our main luggage 👍 but we don’t know if they might do random checks 🫤
