I had the same. Problem when I put mine up by myself. I thought I was gonna have to go to the chiropractor after I put or pop-up the middle. Lol,lol. But I tell ya, open it up. Pop the sides out. Then stake down the sides. Then go inside and pop up the middle. The 1st time you open it is the hardest. 😊
I am hoping it get easier
We loved it. I was surprised at how toasty warm it was. Very comfortable and cozy. Thanks for having us over. It was a great ending to our work week.

Very nice ! It looks similar to the different size clam . All those are great for cooler climates! With the noseeum mesh it doesn’t allow the breeze to come through well. You might want to invest in the 12” stakes . They carry them at Harbor Freight. 👍😁🇺🇸

Several people use long lag bolts with large washers. They install the lag bolts with a impact gun.

We are also in a motor home ( weekend warrior) and have gazelle screen room. I put an outdoor rug inside with our fire pit, dog bed and a long table. We eat, play cards and just watch the weather. Love ours, You'll learn as you go. Ez up, easy down.

@@SHARINGJOURNEY I also use a USB ceiling fan ( simple battery pack will run it.) just for circulation.. And party lights! You need party lights for ambiance!! ;) Please male another video!!

You are right ... she is relaxed. I am not saying that she may or may not have one or three adult beverages.
Maybe the company could put up a RUclips video to show how to put it up. I use RUclips videos all the time for instructions

Apparently Deerfamy has a RUclips channel but they only have 2 videos posted. It would be a great idea if they would add a video setting up and taking down their gazebo. I am sure that would be a whole lot more helpful than reading instructions for lots of folks. Maybe write them with this suggestion.

Looks like a nice screen shelter. We've debated for 2 years whether we wanted to spend the $$$ on a Clam. Plus I really like the roof is screen would be much cooler in hot temps. And thank you for the honest video of a first time user. Some channels would have practiced before sharing. This tells us what we can actually expect. Enjoy!!

We wasted money on our last gazebo was way to difficult to set up and take down. We finally decided we would spend the money and get a clam.when it came we set it up in our yard it took us 5 minutes working together. The first trip i set it up myself and was under 4 minuted i even took it down by myself it was easy to get i t back in its bag
Sometime you just have to spend the money fir quality
We will have to wait and see how this one does

We did the exact same thing and set it up inside out. We have a Clam. I wish ours had the shade cloths attached, but we have to order separately. We have the 9' one.
We don't mind showing our mistakes. The main reason we did not get the Clam is because they sell the shade cloth separately.
I have a Clam, same size. I love it. I'd be careful about melting your roof with the fire pit. Watch the Clam video on how to set up/take down and pack for directions.

Nice idea and the size is like the Goldilocks principle, just right. Do hope the take-down process goes smoothly and you’re able to get everything back in the carrying bag. Often the factory packing is perfect, but left to us mortals, it becomes a Rubik’s Cube 😆

After you put it up a couple of times it’ll go right up. I have a tent like that and as a 70 year old female I can put up in 10 min by myself. I want a screened room like that. Thx for review.

Did you have any issues with water seeping into to seating area of the tent? And would the floor accessory have prevented leaking into the room if it did?👍🏼😎
We had no leaks ... very happy with the quality

My Clam seems to be easier to deploy. I can do it myself in a couple minutes. Sadly, it does hold in the heat and the ceiling is solid (without mesh). It can get unbearably hot in the summer and there is slight leakage when it rains, so I bought a tarp to cover it. Idk how well that will work because it's square and my Clam is five-sided. Lol.
I am always looking at the money ... for us this was a better fit and more affordable. Plus it seems to have more features than the CLAM.
Yeah, it's always a good idea to measure first. We bought a couch and love seat without measuring the doorway, and we couldn't get them in the house. Thankfully, we had just purchased new windows and the big picture window can be disassembled from inside. So in through the window the furniture came. Lol.
Cindy had a great idea about measuring ... I wish she would have suggested it before we ordered. Luckily ... it all worked out!
I can't wait to see an update as you own it longer.
I figure we will give it a few months and do an update video
