    I am THRILLED about these new developments, as well as the AUKUS agreements. Australia has never been a belligerent or bellicose country. Quite the contrary. Every Aussie I've ever met in my life has been quite impressive. In many ways, they embrace a 'live and let live' philosophy. They've been reliable friends and a staunch ally w/ the US & the UK. They've only fought when absolutely required, and also to help friends and allies keep the peace. They've really impressed me when I got to see the places and learn about the people when they hosted the Summer Olympics. I was amazed and impressed w/ how physically fit they all were...and tanned, too! Friendly and outgoing when you first meet them, and they seem to have an affinity for making friends and acquaintances w/ Americans.
    I've been immensely impressed w/ the Aussie prowess in the fields of Science & Technology. From their dominance in (A)stronomy, to their deep knowledge of (Z)oology...and everything in between. They are so much more than a coastal & urban society, and a rural "Western" stereotype of cattle and sheep ranches, and horse-breeding.
    I see them now as less and less of a coal, iron and other heavy industries, but they are also the agricultural 'breadbasket' of the Indo-Pacific/Oceana regions. There are a lot of similarities between Australia and Southern Cal (where I'm from). For example, Aussies are much more advanced in higher-level education, and in overall academia. Their emphasis in agile high-tech, home-grown military industrial development (especially w/ Anduril Industries & Palmer Lucky!), space exploration and the means of getting there and back, and the IP (Intellectual Property) innovation that's comparable to the US Silicon Valley industry, and similar to Microsoft's pioneering work in AI, cyber safety and the cloud, up in the Pacific Northwest campuses in Washington state.
    So keep up the great work, our great friends down under! I love keeping up on the new and innovative things going on down there all the time, and I do like to keep up w/ the big news and major stories coming out from down there, especially the blossoming film, television and music industries (thanks to my really good broadband connection!) So Cheers, Mate! (from your friends in Southern Cal...So Cal for short).

      nah mate back in WW2 we had the worlds fourth-largest navy with 39,650 personnel and 337 warships at its peak with a country population close 7 million.. You just have to look at history with WW2 we had a massive Air Force with 6000+ aircraft, 330+ ships and a Army close to 1 million, all that with a population around 7 million.. Decades of downsizing and neglect plus over reliance on allies like US to fill shortfalls and capability gaps by the Canberra side has led to our ADF becoming less capable.. We do not need our WW2 military back although with close to 4 times the population now to what we had in WW2 we should be able to triple the size of our ADF if Canberra didn't keep complicating things like close to 12 month recruitment process wait before being enrolled into our ADF also diversity quota's on enrollment etc.. Over 80,000 apply for our ADF each year and recruitment has been capped for decades to recruit just enough to maintain the status quo, about 6000 to 8000 a year will get accepted out of the 80,000 applying..

    • @brendanalfo411

      @fuzzyhair321 this isn't true in ww2 we had a formidable navy with a population of just 7 million people. This large population theory is a joke people use. We had a aircraft carrier the Indonesians asked America to force us to get rid of it. they were so paranoid we would put f111s, an could bomb them into the stone age.

    China was very stupid when it tried to bully Australia by waging economic war against Australia a few years ago. China lost that effort, but it lead to Australia committing to building a nuclear submarine fleet, building AI Ghost Shark submarine drones, building uncrewed missile surface ships, Doubling the destroyer and frigate fleet, building AI Ghost Bat fighter drones, and of course becoming a founding member of AUKUS.
    Just like World War 2, Australia started with a small military, but proved to have the resources to rapidly build the assets it needed. China should not have provoked the Boxing Kangaroo.

      Only one problem with this statement….not that I disagree with it. The Australian Labor Party are communist to the core and obey China’s orders secretly but some people are beginning to wake up. The ALP are masters of the art of deception, and to do nothing while seeming to be doing something. Murray Watts is a master of this art….just listen to how he answers questions without actually answering .

    Exactly whats needed. Although I would make it smaller and more numerous. Small and numerous can defeat large and few. But large and few cant defeat small and numerous. Just large enough to put a shape charge through a ships hull. Numerous can also survail more ocean. Be sure to network them all together like an underwater internet. No crew opens up the possibility of miniaturization. Small is cheap and cheap means you can afford a leigon of them. 👍👍

    how is a box shaped sub considered stealth? I'm not an expert at sonar, but you don't have to be to realise vertical walls reflect active sonar. The dark paint job highlighted in this video should work though. I also understand that torpedo tubes are ideal when using them, but are not visible. I want my last 21 minutes back

    • @user-xm3fo5vu1s
      @user-xm3fo5vu1s 2 месяца назад

      Nah mate, it's about the stealth coating that goes on submarines and absorbs the sonar pulse instead of deflecting it or reducing the strength it is deflected back, well that and demagnetising submarines or UUV too.. It's size also plays a factor in the stealth department, it's prob the equivalent to a whales size and to sonar they are going to have difficulties try to determine the difference between a whale and this UUV with it's stealth coating.. On larger submarines deflection is more critical because there is nothing else in the ocean that is the same size..
